Silent: Doesn't alert nearby enemies when shooting.
Laser Sight: Emits a green dot where you're aiming.
Armor Piercing: Can damage armor.
Has Scope: Increased zoom when aiming.
Infinite Ammo: Never runs out of ammo.

Description, tips, opinions, etc. on weapons go here.
Parasonic D2 Silenced Pistol
Silent: yes
Laser Sight: yes
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Great starter weapon in the earlygame. Pathetic DPS, but very accurate and doesn't alert enemies. You just need to be good at landing headshots.

Source: Stock weapon. Always unlocked upon creating a new save file and can be used in stock only runs. Also used by countless enemies throughout the game.
K&H R5
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

A basic full auto weapon. Medium accuracy, fire rate, ammo, DPS, etc. Gets the job done despite being a stock weapon. Can be quite accurate if you fire semi-auto.

Source: Stock weapon. Always unlocked upon creating a new save file and can be used in stock only runs. Also used by countless enemies throughout the game.
SNOOZEFEST Animal Control Pistol
Silent: yes
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Sedates an enemy after a few seconds, causing them to collapse unconscious temporarily. Doesn't kill however, they will get back up after some time.

Has very few uses besides being a bad starting weapon. I only ever used it for the secret boss in Cruelty Squad HQ.

Source: Stock weapon. Always unlocked upon creating a new save file and can be used in stock only runs. Can also be acquired from the weapon slot machine in the main room of the casino.
Expandable Baton
Silent: yes
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: yes

Oddly enough, it's used to increase your mobility, not as a melee weapon.

It knocks out civilians like the animal control pistol. Only knocks out armed enemies if they are unaware of your presence, otherwise it literally does nothing.

However when you hit a wall or floor, it knocks you backwards like a kick. This can be used to boost your kick jumps in the early game. Popular in speedruns.

Source: Stock weapon. Always unlocked upon creating a new save file and can be used in stock only runs.
Balotelli Hypernova
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Pump action shotgun. Powerful enough to 1-tap enemies up close, but too weak to kill swiftly at a fair distance.

Source: Can be found as soon as Pharmakokinetiks, on a table in the top floor, same room as one of the targets. Is also used by many police officers, starting on the Androgen Assault (4th main level).
Security Systems Anti-Armor Device
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: yes
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

A very powerful rocket-launcher-like weapon.

It does enough damage to 1-tap most enemies in the game, including some with armor. And even if it doesn't finish off an enemy, it usually leaves it with little enough health to be finished off quickly with another weapon. If you need to destroy armor quickly, this is a good choice.

Is also a very good crowd control weapon since it has a large blast radius and almost always gibs human enemies.

Has no refire delay, so it's spammable if you can reload quickly. Watch your ammo though, it only starts with 6 rockets. If you equip the Ammunition Gland, you have to wait a few seconds between shots but you can use it freely. (Just don't blow yourself up, it's pretty easy.)

if you equip the Tactical Blast Shield, you can even use this thing to rocket jump! Rocket jumping in Cruelty Squad is similar to how it works in TF2, just shoot your feet and jump at the same time. There are even rocket jumping guides out there if you're interested.

Source: In Pharmakokinetiks, there is a secret room that contains this weapon. Either enter in from the bottom and use DEATH mode's wall jumps or an implant to get up there, or set your game's difficulty/mode/border/whatever to Divine Light and enter the secret door in the top floor of the pharmacy. Also used by a few enemies throughout the later levels, and throughout the whole game in the Hope Eradicated difficulty.
Stern AWS 3000
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: yes
Has Scope: yes
Infinite Ammo: no

A sniper rifle so big it covers up almost the entire right side of the screen.

(In my opinion since all weapons technically have infinite range,) this is the longest range gun in the game since it has a scope and can 1-tap human enemies with a single bodyshot.

Can kill armored enemies but is slow at it. 4 shots to kill a Golem or a Necromech. (They do not take extra damage from headshots.)

Main downside is the low ammo (4 magsize, 6 reserve ammo). Pairs well with the Ammunition Gland because it regenerates ammo faster than it fires, completely fixing this problem.

Source: First sighting is on a large, several story building in the back of Paradise. It's on the roof, I recommend you get there with implants but it's probably possible without. Is also used by several enemies in Idiot Party.
K&H X20
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: yes
Infinite Ammo: no

Great earlygame weapon since it can be easily found in the first level and has a lot of upsides. Above average starting ammo, good bodyshot damage, and has a scope to help you score headshots.

High DPS when used by enemies.

Source: Used by enemies throughout the game. First enemy wielding one is upstairs in the first level.
Minato M9
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: yes
Laser Sight: yes
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Due to it's extreme fire rate, this gun is VERY good at melting anything without armor but it drains mags in literally about a second each.

It's also silenced so it makes a good panic button when there's a lot of unalert enemies nearby.

Source: The target in Sin Space Engineering is carrying one, but can also be found everywhere on Seaside Shock.
New Safety M62
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Annoying to use since it fires a short delay after you pull the trigger, but does enough damage to 1-tap human enemies unless they're far away.

Source: Carried by many enemies throughout the game, starting in Androgen Assault (4th main level).
Riot Pacifier
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Fires a grenade that splits into 5 more grenades and then releases green clouds of corrosive gas that swiftly liquify anything without armor in a large area.

Strong crowd control weapon (hence the name) if you can control where the grenades detonate well (they're very bouncy).

If you wanna spam it, get the Ammunition Gland. It regenerates ammo faster than it can shoot.

Source: Earliest appearance is in a secret room in Androgen Assault (4th main level), behind a series of green and gray doors. Don't step into the room with the Riot Pacifier, you'll fall through the floor, just grab it from outside and leave. Is also used by enemies throughout Bog Business (8th main level).
AMG4
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: yes
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Heavyweight but very powerful full-auto weapon. Huge mags allow for satisfying magdumps and high ammo gained from enemy drops, high bodyshot damage, good accuracy (crosshair exaggerates the recoil), popular amongst enemies in many levels, this weapon is the anti-everything.

The only downsides I can think of is that it does not pair well with the ammunition gland. The ammo regen is just too slow. And there are guns that have higher DPS.

Source: First found in Mall Madness (5th main level), being dual-wielded by Necromechs. Make sure to bring an armor piercing weapon. Is also popular amongst enemies in later levels.
Precise Industries AS15
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

A Full-auto shotgun. Similar single-shot firepower to the Hypernova, but has twice the magsize, slightly more reserve ammo and SIGNIFICANTLY higher fire rate. Shreds anything from short to medium range if you can handle the recoil.

Source: First appearance is in Apartment Atrocity (6th main level), being carried by the Cruelty Squad agents. Is also a popular choice amongst security in the Casino, and can be found a few other spots in the game.
Mowzer SP99
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: yes
Infinite Ammo: no

A sidegrade to the Stern AWS 3000 that has slightly more starting ammo and faster fire rate, in exchange for less damage and no armor piercing.

I personally don't prefer it since they both have low ammo and this one can't 1-tap humans with a bodyshot.
Security Systems Cerebral Bore
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: yes

Another weird one, fires loud white homing balls that attack onto humanoid enemies' heads and swiftly kill them. Has infinite ammo, but slow fire rate, is difficult to use and reduces your health slightly each time it's fired.
Spectacular Dynamics MCR Carbine
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: yes
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

One of the guns with high fire rate, high dps and high ammo use.

Bad accuracy but lightweight, allowing you to move around a bit more freely.

Source: Popular choice amongst enemies in later levels.
Bolt ACR
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: yes
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: yes

Spawns a blue gas cloud in front of you that kills enemies faster than the green gas and doesn't hurt the player if they are in DEATH mode.

The best weapon for killing targets through walls since the gas clouds always spawn in front of you, even if there is an obstacle in the way.

The gas clouds also never despawn, unless the level is restarted of course. This means you can make any path hostile to enemies. The fire rate isn't even bad.

One of the most broken weapons in the game if you use it for what it's good at. Arguably THE most broken weapon in the game.
Flashlight
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: yes
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: yes

Does absolutely nothing besides illuminate the map where you're looking. Useful in poorly lit areas.
Zippy 3000
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Has a 1/3rd chance to actually fire, a 1/3rd chance to do nothing and a 1/3rd chance to misfire, causing recoil and 1-2 damage to you.

Based on a gun in real life that has an obnoxiously high chance to jam. Known as a meme weapon in the community.
BN-99
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Impressive weapon with good accuracy, low recoil, high damage and fair starting ammo. A great option in many cases but fires in 2 round bursts which I personally dislike.
BAG-82
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

A pistol with ok damage, good accuracy and high starting ammo.
Stern M17
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: yes
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

3 round burst weapon with low ammo. Often described as a sidegrade to the K&H X20 that can damage armor.
Parasonic C3 DNA Scrambler
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: yes
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Weird, but underrated gun imo. Instantly turns targets into blobs of harmless, destructible flesh. 1-taps anything without armor with a few exceptions.

These are the only enemies that don't have armor but can't be killed with the DNA gun:
- Secret boss in Cruelty Squad HQ, who is the highest health enemy in the game
- Shock Troopers, even if you shoot them in the eyes

It's main downsides are low ammo and enemies killed with it don't drop their guns.

Source: Secret room in Pharmokokinetics (1st mission), to the right of the starting area. Look for a door that you can jump over or destroy with explosives, then head straight to the back of the map.
Fiberglass Fishing Rod
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: yes
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: yes

Can be used to catch fish which can be sold for money. If you're interested in that, go look up a fishing guide, there's plenty out there i'm sure.

Also, if you throw the bait at an enemy, you can pull their weapon out of their hands.
RPO-80 Sanitization System
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

A flamethrower. Very dangerous to yourself. Leaves a burning trail wherever you shoot it and coming into contact with a burning enemy will ignite you.

Has surprisingly long range though, and can kill humanoid enemies with just a tiny amount of ammo.

Can also cook gibs, making them edible for 5 hp.

Burnt enemies cannot be reignited. Effective against enemies that can't survive the burn damage, pretty useless against anything else.
ZKZ Transactional Rifle
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Competitor for the highest DPS weapon in the game. Scales damage based on your stock market holdings, including value you own in fish and organs. At the cap of $1,000,000, the firing sound changes to indicate max power has been acquired, and it can pretty much 1-tap anything in the game that doesn't have armor.

On top of that, the ammo isn't too lacking either so it doesn't require ammunition gland.

The only clear downside is that it can't pierce armor, despite insta-gibbing everything else.
Parasonic MP-1 Nailer
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: yes
Laser Sight: yes
Armor Piercing: yes
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

The highest fire rate weapon in the game, and the only armor piercing weapon with a silencer.

Very similar to the Minato M9, in terms of bodyshot DPS, accuracy and ammo use. Although it does have 4x the ammo, just around 3x the fire rate. It also has armor piercing and less recoil, so overall it's an upgrade I'd say.

Don't use it against enemies that have high armor though. It just drains ammo obscenely fast.
Raymond Shocktroop Tactical
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: no
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Another shotgun weapon, this one is semi-auto but has seemingly infinite fire rate, the least ammo of any shotgun, but it's vastly superior pellets per shot and spread compensate for its flaws.

Even if you miss a target a little bit you still might hit him, and if you fire into a crowd it tends to mow down several enemies with a single shot.

Hypernova on the left, Raymond Shocktroop on the right.

Due to the low starting ammo but high single shot firepower, this weapon pairs pretty well with Ammunition Gland.
Abscess Ironworks Lux ff374f727ce9d6d6e93be0793733c321
Stock Weapon: no
Silent: no
Laser Sight: no
Armor Piercing: yes
Has Scope: no
Infinite Ammo: no

Competes with the ZKZ for being the highest DPS weapon in the game.

Rapidly fires white spheres of energy that pass through any amount of enemies, does EXTREME damage and pierces armor (kills golems in 3-4 shots, can 1-shot a necromech since it hits multiple times)

Only downsides is that it can't 1-tap anything like the ZKZ can, projectiles aren't hitscan and often hit terrain, and it's the heaviest gun in the game.

Nice guide, good job on cataloguing!
Little sidenote about the New Security M62:
It's the only weapon in the game that has ricocheting bullets without the Angular Advantage Rounds augment, dealing about 30 damage (if I recall correctly) if you catch yourself in the head with them.
Could be worth throwing in there!
