Vlad's Skyrim SE Modding Guides (for v1.6.640)

This is a collection of my modding Guides for the current version (1.6.640) of Skyrim Special Edition. Everything needed for modding start to finish as related to the current version of the game can be found here including a load order. More to come. This guide was made for the convenience of the SSE Steam Forums Pinned Topics.

@Hobbes and Jayskae - Hey sorry I never saw your comments. I keep forgetting I have this guide to my guides.

Anyway it seems Steam was having an issue where when you make an update to a guide it would sometimes keep the guide stuck in the automated check thus hiding the guide, sometimes for long periods of time.

They seem to have fixed it a while back as i haven't seen it happen in a while.

Hi Vlad, I am having the same issue as this posted by Daimonpryde. Anything I can do? I am about half way through your 2023 Anniversary edition mod list, the 510 mods one for 1.6.640, and it's now telling me it's hidden or I don't have permission to view! Have you taken it down? I'm all out on a limb here..

Hello everyone. I've been looking for a detailed guide on how to install skyrim mods properly coz lately i've been screwing up badly. I found Vlad254 and right now it's hidden (i did see the comments about having Steam issues so i'll wait), but im just curious to know. Is it ok for me to use Vortex to mod Skyrim and use MO2 to mod FO4? or would there be some kind of conflict?

Depends which SKSE dependent mods you have. If they have all updated, and many have, then you must update Address Library, SKSE64, and all the mods that depend on SKSE64. But don't do anything until you are sure all your SKSE dependent mods have updated. Like I said many have, a ton have. But make sure first then proceed.

Hey Vlad is can i somehow be able to run my skyrim version back to 1.6.353? if not can i safely update the mods to match the game version with out uninstalling everything? really don't want to restart the mod list again.
