Modding Starter Stats

I don't really believe in the idea that one can not be a jack of all trades, so I thought I'd remove that restraint. I didn't see any guidance for how one could achieve such results, so I figured I'd try and navigate a path myself. I worked it out with Cheat Engine.

Steps:
1. Download Cheat Engine, link will be below.
2. Open Cheat Engine and have Gedonia running.
3. Select a process (computer icon with magnifying glass, just under files in the top left corner), specifically Gedonia of course.
4. Design your character and proceed to the stats distribution process (or proceed to the stats first, can always go back, it won't change anything).
5. Don't touch any stat yet, go back to Cheat Engine, leave the settings as they are, input the Value 1, and then press first scan.
6. Plus stats to 2, input Value 2, press next scan. Repeat back and forth between values 1 and 2 to eliminate all other addresses, besides the 4 attributes. You can deduce that the 4 addresses left are the 4 attributes because the numbers are constantly changing and being siphoned by each search.
7. You have the remaining 4 addresses or attributes left, simplest way: double click on each of them, and edit all their values to 4, under the value column.
8. Press the plus button on any attribute, it will update the visuals.
9. Feel free to begin your journey or go back to character design.

Note: Points left should have a negative integer of 12 if done properly. Don't worry about it, it shouldn't change anything since it's just a main menu design. Also, I originally wanted to just add a bunch of remaining points, but even if you lock the value in place in Cheat Engine, it still changes, so I had to find an alternative route. I also tried messing around in dnSpy, but I'm not too adept at that. You guys try and make a guide, I am curious to see how it can be done that way. Good luck.

@Rez Thanks for your comment about simply editing the save file, that was all I needed :)

@Azuke, @kingyy2010, read this elsewhere, go to AppData\LocalLow\Oleg Kazakov\Gedonia, open your latest save (backup, don't forget) using notepad++, search for your character name, right after your character's name you'll see numbers separated with "/" and "\", look for numbers that represent your attribute points, change them into 4 and save the file and load that save.

@kingyy2010, not that I know of, the changes are how you are able to discern those 4 addresses

Is there any way to scan the stat of a saved game?
I found these four address are changing with every game, sad.

@Longevity Stevens once you have gedonia selected as a process, you can First Scan with 1 as your input, then check the box "compare", bump IN GAME all your stats to 2 then type 2 and push "next scan"

then put it back to 1 and input 1; repeat until all thats left is 4 processes. only takes about 5 cycles through, its not very intuitive but I scraped my face across it until it worked B)

Hi Stevens, you can deduce that the 4 addresses left are the 4 attributes because the numbers are constantly changing and being siphoned by each search. You don't know which are the 4 addresses until the very end.

I wish I knew how this worked. After step 5, there are over 2 million processes. (maybe I am doing it wrong) How would I know which 4 to not eliminate? They all have complicated names and numbers, and as far as I can see none of them say anything about attributes. if only there were a simpler method indeed, it feels just out of reach. Thanks for this anyway, I will continue to try to figure this out. Thanks for the steps.

Peace
