🔧 Attack on Toys: MOD Builder Setup & General INFO

This is the first guide that you will need to start creating Mod for Attack on Toys. Also include all Mod Collection Guide and other informationts for Modder to easily navigate all different Guides & Tutorials.

★ Attack on Toys: Toy-Box Introduction ★

★ Attack on Toys - Toy-Box: Level Creations Editor & Sandbox Play. You could create Maps/Levels straightaway from inside Attack on Toys Game and publish it to Steam Workshop. You don't need to follow these Mod guides below (If your intention is only to create Maps/Levels using only Official in-game Objects)

• Attack on Toys MOD Support is included in Attack on Toys: 5TH ANNIVERSARY at 10 December, 2022! Now you could be part of the Mod Builder for Attack on Toys! Create & Share your Toys Creation with others!
  
• Toys universe is limitless, you could combine all kind of Toys Genre without worrying they will look out of place.
  
• This is what make Attack on Toys Mod is very special, you could combine World War Toys, Medieval Toys, Space Toys, and other type of toys genre at the same time... because they are all just a Toys, that what make em special, it doesn't break any universe, instead it become as one!
  
• One more things that make make Attack on Toys Mod is very special, you could easily add & combine all different Mods into one Toy-Box Creation! So Toy-Box Builder & Mod Builder Community could work together as one. You will also need to list whats Mods that you use in your Toy-Box Level Creation in-order to work properly, which is also great way to credit the Mod Builder Creator!

⚑ First time Setup

• Download Attack on Toys - Mod Builder: Download in your STEAM® Library 'Tools' or paste this Download Shortcut: steam://launch/2182360/Dialog to your Web Browser (Required)
  
• Download Unity 2019.4.32: Unity Hub[unity.com] or Unity Editor Setup[unity3d.com] (Required)
  
• Download Blender: Blender 2.79b[www.blender.org] (Optional, or use other 3D software)
  (Make sure .blend run by default & Run Blender as Administrator at least once to avoid any error)
  
• Register Adobe Mixamo: Adobe Mixamo[www.mixamo.com] (Optional) (Using Mixamo will help Generate Animation and Move your 3D Soldier Model with bare minimum of work!)
  
• Download Paint'net: Paint'net[www.getpaint.net] & Add-ons Pack-1[forums.getpaint.net] & Add-ons Pack-2[forums.getpaint.net] & Add-ons Pack-3[forums.getpaint.net](Optional, or use other 2D software)
  
• Download Audacity: Audacity[www.audacityteam.org] (Optional, or use other Sounds software)

A. Create - Unity Empty Project

B. Download Attack on Toys: Mod Builder from STEAM® Library 'Tools'

C. Download - Required Unity Packages

D. Fix Dark Shader/Shadow - Change Gamma to Linear

● Attack on Toys - Mod Builder include some of these files:

• Attack on Toys - Mod Builder.zip: Extract and move the contents to your Unity empty project. You could use this steps again if you want to UPDATE your existing Mod Builder in your Unity project.
  • Example: Replace previous Mod Builder in your Unity Project from 4.08 to version 4.12
  
  
• Attack on Toys (Mod Project Examples): Some of example Finish Mod Project that you could use as an example, so you could easily copy and just change some stuff based on the example project. Do the exact same step from step 5. to step 7. to install Mod Project Examples.
  
  
• Attack on Toys 4.0 Menu Mod Tester: Test Gameplay Mod and setting your My-Mod Menu
  
• Attack on Toys 4.0 Quick Mod Tester Bedroom: Quickly test Gameplay Mod 'Bedroom Map'
  
• Attack on Toys 4.0 Quick Mod Tester Water: Quickly test Gameplay Mod 'Water Map'

★ Cheat Codes

Hold "Z, and press C" give plastic coins
Hold "Z, and press Left Ctrl" replenish HP
Hold "Z, and press Tab" give ammo to current weapon
Hold "Z, and press Q" Disable Item Weapon Restriction
Hold "Z, and press V" Disable Driveable Restriction
• These are some handy of Cheat Codes that might help testing your Mod!

⚑ First time set your Unity Project

• Mod tester 'Attack on Toys.exe' path example:
  • C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Attack on Toys Mod Builder\Attack on Toys.exe
  • C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Attack on Toys Mod Builder\Attack on Toys 4.0 Quick Mod Tester Bedroom\Attack on Toys.exe
  • C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Attack on Toys Mod Builder\Attack on Toys 4.0 Quick Mod Tester Water\Attack on Toys.exe
  
  • You could set the 'Game Tester' to start a Mod Tester right away after building your Mod, so you could test & debugging your mod more quickly!

Guys, to play on map mods you go to the Toy-box in the main menu and when you're selecting maps, at the top of the tab is a tab called "My toy-box" thats where mod maps are.
