Setting Mods for Project Wigman
От Alter Reich
This guides is created to help players to use mod on their own Project Wingman

Project Wingman is a great game to be played. But it is also a game that can be made for more fun (or more chaotic) gameplay. The mods gave many things to your Project Wingman, like skins, weapons tweaking, removal of aircraft limitation, and many more. So I try my best to explain how to set a mods so it can be applied to your own PW game. I think this is a pretty simple work.

This is quick to-do list :
  1. Create "~mods" folder
  2. Download mods
  3. Putting mods to the "~mods" folder

Create "~mods" folder
First thing to do is creating "~mods" folder. You should create this folder so you can put your mods and the mod files can be read by the game itself. You should make the folder in :

"???:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Project Wingman\ProjectWingman\Content\Paks"
(??? means a folder where you keep your Steam Library)

Alternatively, you can browse it via LIBRARY by right clicking "Project Wingman", and then you point your cursor to "Properties" and "Browse local files". After that, you can follow the rest of the directions until you find "Paks". In that folder, you create "~mods"
Download mods
Unfortunately, PW has no Workshop site so you should download it from third party. As far as I know, there are two websites that provide modded stuff for PW, they are :

But I would recommend Nexus over Mod DB for the number of mods available. But in order to download mod from Nexus, you have to sign in or log in, while Mod DB doesn't have such requirement.
Before you download the mod (especially on Nexus), please read the description of the mod. It might contain information like another requirements so the mod can be used properly. For example, most of F/D-14 skins in Nexus require a mod titled "A Better F-14 UV Map" by Lavernius Regalis. If you use F/D-14 a skin but you don't have the UV Map mod on "~mods" folder, it will have a messy look to your F/D-14.
Putting mods to the "~mods" folder
If your desired mods have been downloaded, extract the mod files to :
"???:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Project Wingman\ProjectWingman\Content\Paks\~mods"
The mod will be directly applied to the game.

And if you want to remove the mods, you can remove them by deleting the mod files directly from the "~mods" folder.
Note
If you're planning to use modded skin for your aircraft, consider for what kind of skin you're trying to replace. If you want to use modded skin, make sure you read the desciption properly, mainly about what skin slot the mod tries to use.
Skin No. 1 is a paint schemes that is only used for yourself, skin slot No. 2 is used oftenly for Pacific Federation's paint schemes. And the rest of skin numbers don't have certainty, sometimes it is filled with another Federation paint schemes (aircraft with flag and/or roundel which consist of dark blue backgroud and white spark and stars on center), sometimes it is filled with Cascadian Indepence Force (aircraft with light blue and white, square-shaped roundel and/or flag with combination of light blue and white plus diamond on the center), and sometimes it is filled with mercenary's paint schemes (aircraft with roundel which consists of black flower on dark yellow circle). And it means that if you're using skin slots outside skin slot 1, it will affect your enemies' and/or allies' paint schemes. Even skin for London's F/C-15, Kennedy's MG-29, and all aircrafts of Crimson Squadron can be changed to the modded skin.

Sicario Mod Manager should be used. Individual mods like this will not work together
