Shannon Guide: Overview

Book Two focuses on the reality of things, dealing with matters at a surface level. If you strip away fantasy and leave only belief in those around you behind, what answers will you be able to find?

Your established bond with your best friend Shannon makes you hesitant to open up to her about your struggles. Not out of any desire to hide things - you just don't want Shannon to be dragged into a potentially dangerous situation.

Endings Overview

(for those who don't want a full guide, just the general idea of how to get the endings; if you want a step-by-step guide instead, keep reading!)

Shannon branch 1 criteria: Certain traits will add points towards this branch. You will want to focus on having the Naive trait unlocked, or a combination of the Genuine trait, Bold trait, and a strong bond of trust with Clive.
Shannon branch 1, good end, romantic: end the route with a pink heart or higher
Shannon branch 1, good end, platonic: end the route with an orange heart or lower

Shannon branch 2 criteria: Branch 2 is more likely to be unlocked if you have the Paranoid or Cautious traits. Having a strong bond with your father and/or a low bond with Clive will also push you further towards this branch.
Shannon branch 2, good end, romantic: end the route with a red heart for a guaranteed romantic ending OR end with an orange or pink heart to choose whether your ending is romantic or platonic.
Shannon branch 2, good end, platonic: end the route with a yellow heart or lower for a guaranteed platonic ending OR end with an orange or pink heart to choose whether your ending is romantic or platonic.

Shannon bad ending 1: on Wednesday of Shannon's route, have either a strong bond with Clive OR either the Nosy or Bold personality trait(s). Ask Clive about the nature trail when the choice appears.
Shannon bad ending 2a: on Wednesday of Shannon's route, choose the option "Return to the city" when it appears. You will get ending variation A if you got the "deal with the devil" bad ending in Clive's route.
Shannon bad ending 2b: on Wednesday of Shannon's route, choose the option "Return to the city" when it appears. You will get ending variation B if you have not gotten the "deal with devil" bad ending in Clive's route OR if you have already seen variation A once. If you got variation A, you can simply reload from the start of that day and play through it again to see the second variation.
Shannon bad ending 3: on branch one of Shannon's route, have any of these traits unlocked: Nurturing, Nosy, Inquisitive, or Bold and choose "pull away from it", OR do not have any of those traits unlocked.
Shannon bad ending 4: on Wednesday of Shannon's route, have the Paranoid or Depressed trait unlocked, OR have Shannon's affection meter at dark blue or lower.

Lana Guide: Overview

You haven't seen Lana in ten years; not since the death of your mother. Lana looks a bit different now with her dyed pink hair but she's still the same caring girl with a bit of a wild side that you remember from your youth.

Lana has only one good ending as opposed to the two that most characters have. Instead, this ending has multiple variations. Lana sees the protagonist as a little sibling, and is not a possible love interest. However, anyone who you have previously gotten a good ending with can be a love interest in this route instead. At the time of writing this guide, this includes Kay, Clive, and Shannon. Chronologically, a lot of Lana's route may be more enjoyable by having done all three of those routes first, but this is not necessary to get the full experience.

Lana's good ending criteria: Fairly straight forward. Having a strong bond with Lana and avoiding the Paranoid personality trait is a guarantee to getting the good ending.

Variation #1: Have a strong bond with your father and choose to return home.
Variation #2: Choose to stay with Lana.

Sub-plot Kay romance: Start the route with a strong bond with Kay already established. You need to be having dreams of him to make this option available.
Sub-plot Clive romance: Show affection towards Clive whenever possible.
Sub-plot Shannon romance: Show affection towards Shannon whenever possible.

Lana's bad ending criteria: on Thursday of Lana's route (during act two), have the Paranoid personality trait unlocked OR have the cautious personality trait unlocked and a green star or lower with Lana.

Hi everyone - I'm so sorry that I haven't fixed the guide yet. My health took a very bad turn again and I've been unable to get it fixed yet. I promise I'll get to it as soon as possible.

In the meanwhile, since the main issue is the "Anomaly Expert" achievement, here are the steps to getting it:
- During Act Three of Lana's route (Friday in game), have the NOSEY personality trait unlocked, AND you must have a strong bond with your father.
- When given the choice, select "I want to go home".
- You'll get the achievement after the end credits during the final scenes.
