Achievement Guide

Just a bit of extra clarification on some of the achievements.

First off, I am fully aware that there is already a FULL achievement guide written for this game. I just wanted to add extra clarification on a few achievements. Show all the love you can give to VectorX and his excellent 100% Achievement Guide.

Collector

Collector
Capture, evolve, or hatch all the different Temtem species.


2023 UPDATE: If you run into sync issues with the collector achievement, the first step that has worked for my friends is to send your save file to the dev.

To get complete credit for each of the 164 Temtem entries, you need to also be the Original Tamer. Simply buying and evolving tems off the Auction House will not grant you full credit. To see what you are missing, check to make sure you have 2 icons (a card and a person icon) on your tem entries. In the screenshot below, I have circled what incomplete entries would look like (Taifu and Mouflank) right beside a complete entry (Fomu). Note: Buying an egg and hatching it yourself turns you into the OT.



This is what happened when I originally caught a Houchic, forgot to evolve it and released it... then proceeded to buy one from the AH to evolve.



It's not broken for everyone, but it is broken for some.



There are many reports of this Kudo being bugged for several people due to the profile card and the Kudo counter being out of sync. If you are having an issue and are stuck at at XXX/164, try these steps before officially reporting it bugged on your end:

• Scan your Tempedia to ensure you have both icons on every Temtem entry
  
• Recapture/re-evolve any Tem you acquired from quests (Mosu, Taifu, Anahir, etc)
  
• Re-capture any egg you hatched from Auction House purchase (regardless of what I said above)

Trendsetter! and Trendsetter?

Trendsetter!
Wear a fully dyed clothing item in each slot.


Trendsetter?
Wear a fully dyed clothing item in each slot, without repeating any dye.


These achievements, just like all of the other ones, are tied to the in-game kudo reward. What the steam achievement page does not explicitly say is that it has to be NON-STARTER fashion items to count towards the achievement.

New Parent

New Parent
Rename a non OT Temtem.


This is the building to rename your Temtem in Cipanku. It's on the ground level.





If you try to rename a non-OT Temtem you acquired from a side quest trade (such as the Taifu from Ukama Lover), the NPC will think that you are the OT and it will not work.

Indecisive

Indecisive
Capture or hatch each starter Temtem.


Your starter does not count towards the 3. You have to catch another one out in the wild.

Absolute Unit, Full Potential, and Blin Blin

Absolute Unit
Capture or hatch a perfect Temtem.


Full Potential
Get a level 100 Temtem with all perfected stats, fully TV trained, and including all egg techniques in its learnset.


For these 2 achievements, I can confirm that you don't need to be the OT. I bought a perfect Shuine with all egg moves and got Full Potential after it reached level 100. I also bought a perfect Occlura in egg form and hatched it to trigger the Absolute Unit achievement.

Blin Blin
Capture, evolve, or hatch a Luma Temtem.


The 3 recommended ways of getting a Luma Temtem to count towards this achievement (IMO) are:

1. Saipark - Every other week you get a list of 2 Temtems with 4x boosted Luma chances
   
2. Radars - The Luma chance from 300 radar encounters is supposed to be above 20%.
   
3. Digilairs - Higher difficulties = higher chance for a Luma egg. The odds are better if you pick a more common species.

Hacker

Hacker
Perfect a Temtem's SV using telomere hacks.


You only need to perfect ONE SV. You can literally buy any Temtem with 49 in any SV stat and use a Telomere hack (as long as it has Fertility to spare) to max it and get the achievement.

I'm in Danger

I'm in Danger
Complete the classificatory rounds by playing 10 ranked competitive matches.


You don't need to play the full match for it to count towards the 10 ranked matches. I completed my 10th match after my opponent disconnected before being able to pick a squad. Basically, disconnections and forfeits count (on both sides).

some additional info:
with the introduction of umbra that has all 50 stat and egg moves, i believe you can try to use the umbra radar found in the Coda: Shadow & Flame quest first.

also, you get a free (luma) paharo radar by finishing Coda: The Rogue quest. plus, i believe you can try buying an unevolved luma egg and evolve it to get the Blin Blin achievement

Collector: galios (the newest tem) apparently isn't counted, so you only need to get 164 instead of 165 tem. you can do galios and not getting any random tem, or do the other way around.

Rough estimate maybe 160h with some assistance? The story is pretty significant. It took me around 200h but I was being pretty relaxed with my exploration. I also had issues getting the full dex so that added a few more hours. Check out Cassette Beasts and Monster Sanctuary too if you want something shorter but just as good.

How long does it take to 100%? I would like to play it but because of time constraints, it would be best to get an estimation.

Yeah it seems there's a lot going on with tracking achievements in the game. I wish I could gather more info on what conditions those ppl are running in that could be breaking the achievements.

Nice guide. Since I don't actively play the game right now and don't keep up with bugs and so on this is good to have. Also, thanks for the shoutout lol

One thing, I've seen a couple of people in discussions say that they paid the 20k pansuns to rename a non-OT temtem and they still didn't get the achievement so that might be bugged in some cases for some people.
