And yes, having the romances lock you out of so much content is painful lol. Though I suppose I can understand there are storytelling constraints with so many threads to weave together.
@SyntaxError: So the achievement isn't mentioned by name but that's basically what the DLC section on Basaras is about. Follow it (as well as Barasas's advice at the end) and you'll get it. I agree that it's not very intuitive though. In fact after completing it I don't see why the achievement needed to be so exclusive. Basaras doesn't tell me to do anything I wasn't going to do already. So why gathering a little info on the archon makes all the difference is a mystery to me.
