Intro - More Ground

Here's a "semi-sequel" to
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2790784570

Because, there's still a ton of ground that wasn't mention in that one. Like my previous guide didn't exactly explain Transcendence (I didn't know, except for having an insanely very vague idea of what it is and how to do it).

Note: Remember I do off-meta stuff, since I kinda play this game like it's Pokemon, type advantage mostly doesn't matter to me. - Save certain game modes. Since, I want to destroy my foes/rivals. So, I'm not exactly a good go-to for how to play, this is just the "basic" how to use them Units/Summons, where to find and how to use the gems, "Pokeberry Gems", and scrolls on them.

Tiny Dictionary:

PokeGems
- In these guides, it's what I called "Potions", "Droplets" and "Super Potions" at times. I even use it to group them together.

++++

Off Topic Note: Ignore the Squad 8 references in most of my Steam guides or me honestly telling ya that I am lazy, since according to the "Bleach: Official Bootleg KaraBuri+" aptitude test, I am in Capt. Kyoraku's homie's squad. They say that I'm more suited to be in the Thirteenth Division.

Don't forget to:

Bio

To see the tiny "bio", click on the magnifying glass on the Character's profile.

To get rid of the summary/bio, just click on the tiny square with the arrows.

It's just like getting rid of the sensitive information, like Orb numbers, character levels, and such, from the main screen.

Warning: Some of Summons/Characters' bios are very spoiler heavy akin to most anime intros.

Spoiler Fuel Station Attendant

Like this bad boy, wished I hadn't clicked on his picture.
Gem, The Tickets Are Contagious
Semi-cheating with the example here, these are some of my loot from the "The Truth Of The Squad 4 Rumors!" Point Event.

Impressive, so, you wanna pull in this type of treasure chest? This is how you do it. This method is a kill two birds with one stone.

Before you start your quest, click on this boost button right here, it's located
Ya can only use up to a certain amount, it depends on the mode, like here, ya can only use 10.

The quest should look like this:

The ticket icon indicates that you made this quest/co-op/epic co-op/epic raid special.

When you're done, you can reap the extra rewards.

Now you can continue to level up your Character(s). Also, this method is good for leveling up Summons/Characters as well as getting newer ones to farm Orbs off of. Ya don't need to do all this co-op and questing individually, when you can accomplish a lot with using a ton of tickets at the same time.

"Further Transcendence"

Congrats, you're almost finish and you've gotten your Summon/Unit to one of the magical numbers: 15/15/15. This is when you can get access to Set Bonus Ability, earlier you can't, because your waifu/husbando is a 5 Star Character.

So, now you can just pick what type of new special ability for your Summon/Unit.

Just drag and drop (or click) for the desired skill to the Skill/Ability list.

Click confirm and you're ready to go:

20/20/20

Once you have your Summon/Character reach 20/20/20, some things will happen. And the second bonus ability slot will open up.

Selling

Ignore the soap opera drama.

If one sells some of the Summons, you'll be able to obtain some form of Transcendence coins. This is for the final node in the Set abilities and after you unlocked all of them.

Focus

About FCS Modification (r/BleachBraveSouls)

This guide will explain a bit about Focus, since this will play a huge part with the Set abilities and attribute modifiers.
Da Set Abilities

The Tenshintai is an accessory that can increase the strength and damage of a Character's Soul Bomb.

Now what abilities that ya use for the Set Abilities are all centered around the Tenshintai, like how in the first Overwatch game's behind the scenes, Acti-Blizzard designed everything around Tracer/Lena Cox. It also depends on what you want to use your Summon/Character for.

Like if you're gonna use your Summon/Character for PVE (Inheritance Zone, Extreme Co-Op, Epic Raid, Guild Quest, etc.) and equip the Tenshintai, the optimized standard built is:

Accessories: Tenshintai/Pill/ SAD (All 30% SP)

Trans Slot: SP> FCS> ATK

Though if you're not gonna use the Tenshintai, the optimization built is:

Accessories: Hollow Bat/ Pill/ SAD (All 30% SP)

Epic Raid Accessories: Shinji's Cap/ Pill/ Hollow Bait

Trans Slot: FCS > SP > ATK

PvP

Flurry Units

Accessories: GC/Chappy/NAD (All 30% ATK)

Character Links: 20% Damage Reduction Summon/ 20% Damage Reduction Summon/ Zangetsu (Senkaimon Reward version) (aka Senkgetsu)

Trans Slot: SP> FCS > ATK > STA > DEF

Dem Accessories (Again)

Keep in mind that ya need to equip the correct Accessory onto your Summon/Character, it makes the difference in the world. But ya need to figure out what type is your Summon/Character is, is your waifu/husbando a SAD, NAD or . Attaching the correct item will increase their talents/strenghts, like putting Chappies on NADs.

NAD

  • Has the skill: Flurry
  • Soul Trait has 20%, 25% 30% Attack (Most of the time)

SP

  • Has the skill: Frenzy
  • Soul Trait has Strong Attack Recharge 12%, 14.
  • Full Stamina Damage
  • Strong Attack Damage
Character Packages

After you buy a Character Package, your Summon/Character will come out like this.

I saved a few Steam gift cards just for her.

They're mostly leveled up and ready to go. You just needed to max her out and add a few finishing touches, like making them a Six Star.

The 5 Star Character's special skill and partially Transcendence. It's just that ya need to get it to a 6 Star (and maybe Maxed out 20/20/20.)

If you're new, new, for the time being it's better to skip these. Unless, you're buying the starter packs or the cheapest Orb/supplies pack. Since, despite that ti's slightly better than the other huge packs in the shop, it's still pricey.

Note: Doing what I call a Full Transcendence is difficult, despite that it can be done. Making Characters/Summons 15/15/15 is enough to get the job done, like being able to enter lobbies. I'm saving the full Transcendence for Pots, Droplets, and the best Characters/Summons that I regularly use.
Sekiro: Summons Die Twice
I had to watch veteran people's reactions to these Summons/Characters and ask about certain ones. Otherwise, I wouldn't know that the Parasols were "retired"/"outdated". But I don't play meta, I play either for SIMP-ing or for "It looks cool."

Now some of these Summons/Characters, like this Parasol Shunsui, are old and kinda "phased out". Due to power creep and the ever changing meta, they can still be used though, but you'll be in for a long uphill battle to get them to equal footing with the "new" guys, new meta and game updates.

Green Lollipop Tip:

Sometimes KLab has "accidents" with the new Summons/Units, like when they release the 7th Anniversary Ichigo and 7th Anniversary Uryu. These were suppose to be the latest Summons/Characters and built to last for a very long time. But when the Thousand-Year Blood War Step-Up Summons:Essence trio were added... Well, KLab were probably striving for near manga/anime accuracy and video gaming immersion. Since these new versions of Aizen, Yamamoto and Yhwach made those 7th Anniversary Units "outdated" in a span of a week.

Heroes Never Die

After Rez, pink stars, and Before Rez

Since KLab knows that some of us will still use the "old" Summons/Characters, despite meta, game changes and all the odds. They will update some of these with a "Resurrection", so they can be still usable.

Note: Rezzing also results in getting extra Orbs. But ya have to fill up the tree and max it out again.

Other Excellence

Some of these "old" Summons are still king, despite being "dethrone" and power creeps. Because, they are still good to use at other game modes, like Senkaimon, Guild Quest, or Epic Raid. Occasionally, outdoing the new guys or still retaining their crown in certain aspects.

Doing A Gabriel

Don't listen to my hubby when it comes to re-rolling.

Depending on how old your Bleach: Brave Souls account and what Summons ya mostly have, some of the veteran gamers will advise you to do a re-roll, just so you can start off with the current most powerful Summon/Character. - Provided that you manage to obtain one (or two). - And have an easier time to work your way up.

Old Reliable

Unlike the earlier examples, some of the "ye olde" Summons/Characters are still viable and aren't "dethrone," like the 5th Anniversary Aizen. They'll barely get "outdated"/"phase out" and are still recommended to this day, despite the ever changing meta and power creeps. Unlike most of the Parasols (I heard that Parasol Aizen and probably Parasol Nel are still good to use).

Summons Never Die Part 2

Now ya see a cool banner like this, it's like cake. It's a lie. Don't be fooled, it's just KLab updating "old" Characters. Plus, if you have the Character in question you'll get Orbs after you refill the tree nodes to Lvl. 150.
Banners

Premium Banners and Seasonal Banners

When it comes to Premium Summons/Characters, these are the "original anime" Characters (up to the Fullbringer Arc) it's a good idea to not use your Orbs on 'em, since, these types of Summons can easily show up in tickets or when you're not searching for them. Unless, you really, really, really want that Summon. Also, they're not as strong as the Summons/Characters that come out at the end of the month and the end of the year.

Most banners that come out in the middle of the month are Premium, except for the Seasonal ones.

Yes, this "horrible" Momo distraction is one of the Premium Banner summon types. Ya can find her by other means.

The Seasonal Banners can be Premium Summons or Limited Summons, but they're ready for the seasons, holidays or go by a special theme, like the Machine Society and the Cacao Society. They can be obtain by special tickets, like the P2P passport tickets, the next new seasonal banner as fillers and Character banners (aka SIMP banners), though the CB picks are tiny.

Limited Banners

These Summons/Characters are never Premium, they're even stronger and of better quality than the Premium ones. The Seasonals are just a bit similar, but more "easy" to get (Unless, they're like this Christmas Ninny).

This is the ONLY acceptable Quartering Act,* when these British come home to you.

These are "special" banners, they're a bit tricky to obtain. - These Characters/Certain versions are centered around the current main manga volumes, spin offs, novels and short stories (like "Burn The Witch", "Thousand Year Blood War" and "Can't Fear Your Own World.") Because, the Summons/Characters won't appear in tickets and who knows when they'll pop out again. It's due to licensing reasons, if KLab doesn't get the license for certain stuff involving these Summons/Characters. They will only show up sporadically or not at all (This doesn't hinder you from playing with these types of Summons/Characters, just be aware that you'll become a walking spoiler.) Note: You're more likely to see the "Thousand Year Blood War" and "Can't Fear Your Own World" make returns every other random month or year. (Like three months at best).

If there's a Seasonal Unit that's Non-Featured but it's in the Character Pool of an off-topic banner, like in Non-Seasonal Limited banner, your chances of drawing that unit is 0.00002%.

Movie Banners

Just regard these banners as more "semi-limited", than the seasonals. It's because they only pop out once a year, are not found in tickets and fillers (even in EOM/EOY banners).

End Of Month (aka EoM)/End Of Year

These Summons are better gameplay-wise (and I dunno what else) than the average Premium, especially the Seasonal ones, it's best to save both Orbs and Tickets for them. Now they'll be immediately be added into the Summon tickets on day one.

* - The "Quartering Act" is one of the 18th Century law that Parliament passed for internationally, especially for American 13 Colonies. It's one of the acts that led to the American Revolution.

Summon Tickets

The Summon tickets are your collection of free Summons that ya collected over the span of playing. If ya reach the cap, you either need to activate them in order to make room. So, you can claim whatever Summon tickets that are left in your Gift Box and Orders.

The caps are:

Tickets, like Battle Ready 6 Star Summons Tickets, Event Quest tickets, and 5 Star Summons Ticket (Awakened ER Vol. X), aren't featured in this grid. It's due to the fact that one can only obtain one.
Test Drive
KLab got rid of the Test Play in the Version 14.5.0 update. It got replaced with a better version of it.

Test Drive

For newer banners, you can test drive the Summon/Character that you are planning to chunk 1,000 Orbs on. While the banner keeps cycling, wait for it to go to the one that you want and click on Test Play.

I don't do this test driving earlier, since I want things to be a surprise. But then again,...

Click on the arrows to find which of the three potentials that you want to take out for a little spin.

You'll be taken to a game mode that's similar to a quest and to try out said Summon/Character's abilities. He/she will be maxed Lv.200 and the green tree nodes should be filled out.

This is the old version of Test Play.

Check, even though you're hardcore simping. (Except for the zero Orbs).

It's basically a REALLY good idea to ALWAYS play test the new guy, because of what happened a long time ago when the Spirits Are Forever With You: Kisuke and Shinji banner was first release. Now back then, Kisuke was "beyond broken", he was glitched out: his new 80% SP skill status boosted proc as well. He applies the status conditions to enemies and therefore stunning/lacerating all the enemies in every game mode. People reported him and wanted a refund.
But KLab didn't want to refund when the bug happened. So, they only refunded those that played him during the Play Test, before rolling. So, it's a good idea to be paranoid of KLab pulling a fast one and won't do a refund. Just in case, history repeats.
Fake Outs, Background Colors, And Glitter
My little brother popping out,...

And assisted with my Steam guide. Look at this tiny flex.

Fake outs, especially this sibling team ups,* like this may or may not indicate that you'll get a bunch of Star Cards or not, including 5 Stars. They're also "Sike, you suckers." animations. Don't be fooled by the hell butterflies, they're there for "Rule Of Cool."

Note: I'm new, like you and I have trouble reading the animations and I usually ignore them, even if they're Aizen fake outs. Because of "Sike, you suckers." factors.

Fake Outs:

These indicate if you're getting a 5 Star and how many, they are mainly approximations. Fake outs, like my sibling team up, happen only during multi-summonings.

Predicting - Epic Raids/Co-Op

See, future Summons/Characters that will be fillers or will be one of the huge picks in a re-run.

If one wants to predict of who is gonna come in the next few banners that will pop up in the upcoming weeks, months or years. Look at who are the bonus characters in the current Epic Raids/Co-Op bonus. This will give you an educated guess of who will come.

"We Need A Boss Killer."

I wished that there's a "Shield is on cooldown."

Ignore that piece of dialogue from the pre-set chat, that's an obsolete phrase. It references to the early days when the Epic Raid game mode was first introduced. A "Boss Killer(s)" are Summons/Characters that are designed to do high murder on the boss. Now all current day Summons/Characters are born boss killers.

PokeGem Stacking

Depending on the game modes, like the Difficult Quests, you can stack your Pot Summons together for reaping extra PokeGems, like this team of Swimsuit Nel (2022), Ulquiorra The Hidden and Sode displayed here. These guys will give me more Purple/Heart potions and droplet boosts/drop rate, unlike using ONLY one Pot Character.

It's Boring

To get rid of the boring music and scenery, just click on the Settings icon.

Go to Wallpaper/BGM, you'll be then taken here.

This is a collection of wallpapers and tunes to pick from.

You need to unlock them first, before ya can use them.

You can switch to the the Wallpaper/BGM of your story endevours to use what ya want.

Tip:

To get rid of the icons, just click on that window square.

Tiny Brave Battle Tips:

Summons/Characters that are used in Brave Battles, are usually equip with Dodge, Low Stamina Damage Boost and Pierce Barrier.

Caps

The Friend Points cap for Kon's Corner is 100,000.
More On PokeGems (And Scrolls)

These are some of the most difficult ones to obtain, doesn't matter if you're doing Epic Co-Op/Co-Op, Epic Raid or some other really difficult game mode that ya know of. They will be hard to obtain, whether ya win or lose.

Such is the case with the Difficult Quests, there's enemies that have dodge mechanics.

Nozomi is a rare breed. She's a Pot and can read her foes.

Tip: This particular NYE Rangiku also does well for mode.

You either need to pull for Summons, like this particular Nozomi, or find a way to make your favorite Summon/Pot Character to level 15/15/15 and equip the Read Dodges as a Bonus Ability. (It's a good thing that the 20/20/20-ing a Summon doesn't require scrolls).
