It is this Simple

Truly just a matter of unpacking the popular mod manager, which we are going to call just "Fluffy" for the rest of the guide, selecting the game we want to apply the mod, drag & drop and activating the checkbox(s).

And for a full uninstall you can safely delete all Fluffy-related-files and mod files.
Either with simple clicks or the foolproof method to restore your game to its vanilla condition.

What You Need
In theory, you do not need to use the popular modding website and community Nexus mods (https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterrise), but I still strongly recommend to use that as a reliable source alongside a free registration.

You can use a direct download link for the mod manager Fluffy and use mods from any source.

However!

Getting mods to use with your game from Nexus mods is safe(r), in comparison to mods from other sources. The items you can download there are checked, and thanks to a large community the source is well tended too.

Reminder: Mod Updates
Last but not least: please keep in mind that mods get updated too and they might lose compatibility with the game when Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak gets updated.

In general these kind of mods which are installed via Fluffy are Safe to Use AND easy to handle, as all you need to do is to "uninstall" the mods with a simple click via Fluffy whenever a new game update gets released.

Once the game update is applied, tell Fluffy to re-read the game archives files, and you can apply your mods again. It truly is just a matter of a few clicks done in less than a minute.

Afterword
I hope that pointing you towards the short tutorial video of mine alongside with some additional information in this guide, may convince one or another hunter who is reluctant in trying out mods to give them a try, knowing that they are Safe AND Easy to use.

I am convinced that any kind of game which allows mods is a great game, as they allow for more than just adjustments and fixes by third party providers. Mods allow a community to grow, to challenge the developers with user created community content and in the process keeping the game alive for many more years to come - way beyond a game's "natural" lifecycle. Mods are "limitbreakers" which can enhance your personal experience with a game.

Therefore... give it a try if you are interested!
No dangerous or complex black magic involved!

It may or may not enhance your experience.
One way or another: it is free experience you should not miss out trying.
