Anbennar Mend the Regent Schism

Opis
Have you ever felt that the religious war of Anbennar is an anticlimactic end for the Corin vs Adean debate? Someone must sit on the throne, and while the war gave an answer to who, not everyone accepted that.

This mod allows you to give a definitive conclusion to this debate. It allows you to unite Corinite back to Regent Court.

The religion that won will unlock a stronger personal deity of Corin or Adean, depending on who won, as well as a triggered modifier with a few more bonuses.

But to mend the schism you first have to either be the emperor of Anbennar, or the emperor must have at least 100 opinion of you, 4 electors must have at least 100 opinion of you, and either own the following provinces, or their owners must have at least 100 opinion of you:

Anbenncost (the imperial capital of Anbennar, the Queen of Cities)
Old Damenath (Capital of Magisterium, representing the interests of magic-users)
Istralore (Capital of Istralore, representing the interests of the nobles of Eastern Dameria and beyond)
Pearlsedge (Capital of Pearlsedge, representing the interests of the nobles of Western Dameria)
Damescrown (Capital of Damescrown, representing the interests of the merchants, as well as the nobles of the Damescrown region)
MoonHaven (Capital of MoonHaven, representing the interests of the elven peoples, the most influential minority)
Beepeck (Capital of Beepeck, representing the interests of the halfling peoples, the largest minority in the Empire)
Anvilwright (Capital of Silverforge, representing the interests of the dwarven peoples, the second largest minority)
Moonisle (Capital of the Damish Temple, representing the priests of the Dame)
Aramar (Capital of the Aranari Temple, representing the priests of Ara)
Ryalanar (Capital of the Ryalan Temple, representing the priests of Ryala)
Lorentaine (Capital of Lorent, the most powerfull kingdom of the west)
Gaweton (Capital of Gawed, the most powerfull kingdom of the north)
Castonath provinces (Capital city of the old Castanor empire, the city of Castallos and where Corin fell)
Taranton/Rogieria (Capital of Rogieria, the exiled emperors of Anbennar, and capital of the old kingdom of Adenica, Adean's city)
Ionntras (Capital of Corintar, Corin's followers and most devout believers)(I might be wrong for this one, please correct me if I am)

In case of the war reaching to religious treaty, then all opinions needed are 150 instead of 100, bug have greater rewards.

If you think that another city is needed (preferebly in Escann and maybe Alenic Reach) or change the rewards, please comment, and please confirm that Ionntras is indeed Corintar's capital, or the most appropriate one if it doesn't have a defined one.

It also changes the missions so that most can be completed even if the schism is mended, but there might be bugs in it, so if you spot any, comment.

Finally, if anyone wants to take this mod and integrate it into their own, or add to it, then be my guest, but please credit me!

Does this mod still work?

Finally for Lorent and Gaweton, most probably they will still be strong after the religious wars, or you will already control their capital. I added the need for their capital as a way to sort of force their hand into supporting the unification. While your idea with sufficient development would be a better idea, there wouldn't be a different way to force them into accepting, if say you are rivals, or had a long war, or whatever. If you have some idea for that, I'm all ears.

I finally found the time to fix the bug with the mission trees (hopefully).

@Agraza adding the cities you said sounds good enough, though I'd need something more concrete for Falah. As for the electorate cities, maybe I could remove them, tho I had them in the first place because they had a lot of influence inside the empire. Both on the lords and the people. Anbenncost is the seat of the emperor's power, where most of the bureaucracy of the empire happens, and so I thought of them integral when trying to enforce the decision. Castonath was added as it was the old seat of power of Castellos, and even though it is half destroyed, it still, I believe, have some priests of his, and having them by your side would give the council a lot of legitimacy. Plus, its arguably the most important city in all of Esccan.

I would remove Lorent, Gaweton, Pearlsedge, Istralore, Dameshead, Anbenncost, and Castonath. Change the secular conditions to just controlling sufficient development (1000 outside the empire, 350 inside of it) and having the appropriate state religion.

I'd add the Corseton for Nerat, Nathalaire for Nathalyne, somewhere in Dostanor for Falah (perhaps directly adjacent to the deepwoods), Estallen for Esmaryal, Minaran Temple for Minara.

The mission thing pushing all the other missions lower is frustrating. Given some trees like Jadd/Castanor being enormous, maybe addressing this without missions would be better?

So you are saying that you souldn't be able to unite the court after ravelianism? Maybe, or maybe especially then, you should be able to unite them in order for the regent court to stand a chance against ravelianism

The first use of that 150 goodwill to bridge the separation of the royal court, I think, should have been used at least until the Reformation.
Stylianos_V  [autor] 16 września 2022 o 14:23
I did see that, though the missions are just way lower, I will have to see why's that. As for the eras part, I didn't get what you mean

The task on the far left of all countries is gone, as is whether the resolution should limit the available eras. The beginning can be used to feel out of place.

What I could do though, is make it so that if Castanor exists, the you would need good relationships with them, even if they somehow lost the important cities. As for Castanor enforcing its will on Anbennar, that would maintain a level of division. It's why it must be unanimous, and why you also need the support of Gawed and Lorent.

As for additional gods, I don't know who I could add, and what perks ti give them. Additional, they would need their own icon and I'm not really good with that. But if you have an idea, tell me
