Setup
First, you'll need a drain skill spell. This can be found in Fort Moonmoth near Balmora. Solea Nuccusius sells a few there (seen in image). The navigation is a bit tricky, but she can be found behind a wooden door around where Larrius Varro is found, though she is technically in the "prison towers".

From here, you need to either go to an enchanter or spellmaker (or enchant it yourself if you've the skill). You need to make a drain spell with a duration of one second on self to such a magnitude that your skill will be well below zero while active. If you do not have the skills to cast it, either train normally or make an enchanted item.

Execution
Now that you have your drain spell ready to go, head over to a trainer for the skill you want to increase.

The exploit works via temporarily draining your skills to zero, and using a trainer during that brief window. Due to the skill being read as zero, it costs zero drakes to level the skill, but the increase carries over when the effect wears off.

Using this simple method, you can easily increase every skill to 100.

Thanks, and have fun.

Doesn't the ending break if you kill Daddy Ur directly? You need to attack THE HEART, OSBORN

if you're going to use the console then why not just teleport to dagoth and instantly kill him using console commands to beat the game?

or just use the console command and don't waste time?

this was definitely not officially patched out, it still works. it's probably another setting in MCP that affects it.

For whatever reason it's not working. I went to moonmoth bought drain destruction, went back to balmore mages, crafted a 300 magnitude 1sec drain enchant, then tried training from the khajiit, still costs 479 and can't improve further.

Either the Morrowind code patch fixed it, or this exploit was patched out officially ages ago.

I recently started playing morrowind, having never really gone past lv5 in the past before. And i applied the MCP (code patch) and ticked the boxes for uncapping attributes and skills. Currently based on advice im playing as a breton apprentice, lv15 mouth for house telvanni and i been regularly going to balmora mages guild to pay trainers for misc enchanting purely for 5int every lv and then going next door to the fighters for 5end and speed or strength, using a marked spell at the mudcrap shop to sell 10k worth of health potions. My alch is 120 and my int is 118, but the trainers are starting to say they cant, and i heard the master enchanter is hostile. So TYSM for this guide.

Excellent ! Much like original Skyrim - you could stack potions and enchantments, to enchant an enchantment enhancement, to make immortal armor, and 1 hit weapons, like a wooden ladle
dealing 11,000 points of damage and auto - soul trapping every critter in Skyrim. :-) The potions stacking enchanting buffs really created weapons, armor, and gear more powerful than the silly Dadra princes !

It is Ruinenlust but you can choose to disable it in the bug fixes section of the MCP config program.
