Notes on sorting & safes
For the purposes of this guide, "Secrets" will be grouped as things intended for the observant player to find that may help progression with resources. "Easter eggs" are typically more difficult to find, and will not help the player, but are instead intended to serve as their own reward.

Sadly I cannot be everywhere online at once, and New Blood/Gloomwood have a large fan following. If you see something, comment it here and I will add it to the list so we all have a central resource on all the fun things this game has hidden.

To start with... if you use the famous code on safes, "451" from immersive sims of old and looking glass games, you receive a special surprise from the developer.

Secrets
The Fishery

1. The office safe
The office safe is one of the first mysteries you'll stumble upon. The trick to find the code? Turn off the light. You're going to want what's inside.

2. The Watch tower on the roof
The watchtower guy is mentioned by the guards, but if exists in the current build (early access 1), it has yet to be found. However, a single barrel can be stacked near the door and stood on to sneak through the hole above the door. You will be rewarded some health items for your exploration. For those who enjoy a challenge, the tree on the hills behind the fishery can also be mantled allowing you to hop through a window.

3. The Safe behind the Fishery
If you walk to the back of the fishery, there is a safe in a cave that you can swim to. The code to this safe is inside the lighthouse (the end of the current release of the game), but for those who'd like to know, the code is 415. You'll be rewarded with "the undertaker" a single-shot gun that can interact with the environment (put out lights or break things as a distraction) or set enemies on fire. The ammo for it is hidden around the map.

4. The FIshery Waters
While the waters near your starting point seem like an insta-death place to chuck bodies, you can actually swim and explore all of it. You can't see well and move slow, but glowing clusters of fungi mark secret little stash spots where you'll find some extra resources.

5. The Boat House
The boat, if mantled, contains a munitions box.

6. The waterfall before the cabin
if you look inside the waterfall at the end of the Fishery, you can find some lunatic's.... ern.... cheese pile? Credit to Axelholyfist

The Mine
1. The Lift
in the waters behind the giant lift you can find a spare syringe. It should come in handy after all those "dogs." There's also some bonus slugs down here if you got the secret gun and want to bonk out some lights going forward.

The Coastline
1. Outside the mine
At the start of the level, some progamer++ box-stacking can get you onto the roof outside, where a crawlspace up above will take you to a body with a (currently unusable) gem stone.

2. Under the broken bridge
Just after the house, if you go into the waters under the broken bridge, you will find a few extra slugs. (look for the glowing mushrooms)
Easter Eggs
The Fishery
Okay, it's not *exactly* an easter egg, but if you press "~" at the very start to open the dev console and type either "noclip" or "ghost", you can catch a glimpse of our strange friend in the light.

The Coastline
When you approach the pub and happen upon two guards looking scared at the door, you'll hear rumors of a terrible monster inside. Sadly, as of the first release, this is unfinished. If you were to no-clip (press ~ and type "noclip" to toggle) past that door however, it seems like the developer knew you would want to try this.

The Lighthouse

1. After interacting with the mirror, you can glimpse the meme "ugly table" on your right in storage.

2. In the basement of the lighthouse, you can find a switch hidden on a bookshelf to approach the city gates. There's a few extra guards to take out and a document that serves as the credits.

3. After doing all you can at the gate, make sure you follow the ledge along the right side of the gate to get an extra glimpse of things to come. Originally found by Venator.

In the mines, near the elevator there is a wall with an explosive warning sign next to it. Going back to where you encounter the dog eating the human remains near the little pool there is a storage area with some explosive barrels. Blowing up that wall will reveal a hidden area with some nice loot and lore in there.

Wrong combinations don't do anything, but entering 451 on any safe will cause it to explode when it opens.

The safe on the top story of the gun shop in the new market district can be opened with combination 625 .

Add the explosive barrel spot near the elevator in the mines! It leads to a rather interesting corridor...

here's one you can add, if you revisit the hungry prisoner after getting the lantern and light him up it is revealed he was a corpse. I have not tried to feed him prior to that with the cheese wheel in the freezer.

I don't know how well known this is, but there is some loot in the parapet of the church if you get on top of it in the 2nd level by going to the back and climbing the pile of leaves.

I never had a safe explode on me when I played. Nothing happened at all when I interacted with the safe's handle unless I used the correct combination, but then again I only put in a wrong combination once or twice. My guess is that it's chance, except for certain combinations, but again just a guess.

I randomly input a code in the managers offices safe and it also explodes.
It's save to say they all explode on any wrong code.

Nah, the code is 415 , right? Not 451.
