Recruitable Characters & Learnable Skills

A list of recruitable characters and their skills in the main campaign. Information presented here was extracted from the moddable version.

Intro

This is my first time writing a steam guide, yay! I usually don't post much but i like this game and i think it is sorely lacking more easily accessible information, so I decided to write this up.

Obvious spoiler warning, as I will be listing all recruitable characters and their skills. Characters are presented in the order you find them on the campaing. All characters can be promoted once they reach level 20, and may also gain new skills, or buff existing ones, when doing so. I won't cover these promotions (for now) as I don't have all the information on each one of them. Beware that using a Book of Power for an early promotion might leave you with different skills than levelling would.

I do not list "Sword" as a starting skill for the Strider sisters because it is granted by equipping a sword, not levelling. Likewise for all other weapon-bound skills. I also do not list the learnset for characters that help you for a single battle, but you can find some info about them at the "extras" section.

Emma Strider

Note:
Failing to recruit Lakshmi will also skip the rescue mission and thus make both Zimmer and Meridian unrecruitable. Should this happen the game will procedurally generate characters that instantly join you.

Extras

Theres two other characters that can join your team in battle, but as they only stay for one combat theres not much point to listing their skill progression.

Annel Stormhunter appears during the battle with Ebon Raban and will help during the battle. As he will leave shortly after and has some nice gear, the more pragmatic approach would be to kill him and take the loot.

And being as light in spoilers as possible, Gunther Lathe returns for the very last battle. He is a decently high level axefighter, but joins with no gear. He might useful or very much not, depending on if you have gear for him.
