Russia Lure & Bait 100% Completion

A guide to catching all fish on the Russia map. This makes use of both lures and float fishing, and will be filled in with updated info for anything missing.

Unless otherwise stated, all times/weathers are noon/clear, and all float fishing is done with a 2.5m leader length.

European Eel

Standing on the bridge at #3 fishing in either direction

Robinson Sonic M34 speed 22
Robinson Sonic S33 10G speed 22

Spot 1 in the shallows, spot 6 in the topmost corner in the shallows

Amur Pike

Anywhere around location 4 banks and the pool south of location 4:

(Go for the float-fishing method if you want to guarantee a big one)

Bleak on any hook size up to 2/0

UFA Twister 8,0 blue and red, speed 10
Robinson Classic Twist Pink, speed 10

Tench

The shallows and weeds around spot 1, the pool at 4, and the bank up along the right-hand side along locations 4 and 6, as well as smaller specimens in the river areas

Small hooks with worms

European Perch

The pool just north of location 3, or along location 4

Chum Salmon

The bridge at spot 3, fishing in either direction;

Robinson Classic Twist Pink speed 22 (this is not a mistake - I was catching on this lure at speed 22)

Coho Salmon

The bridge at location 3, fishing in either direction:

Silver Carp

Far left of spot 1 in the shallows, or anywhere along the right edge of the map:

Biggest I've caught was on a 2/0 hook at location 4, 30kg

Beluga Sturgeon

There are many, many lures that catch these, but here are the few that catch the biggest sizes;

Sakura Bainer 105S red white Minnow
Sakura Dynastick 110F Gold Silver
Sakura Mousty 110F Silver Blue Opalescent

See the Russia section of my Guide to Fast Leveling for more tips on how to catch this, but basically, stand at spot 1, and cast to the right towards the log bridge, with any of the above lures, at 26 speed.

Black Grayling

I've finally seen these in the water, in the little pond between points 2 and 3, just above the river. There's a big log underwater and they're swimming around the log.

Lures:

Robinson Classic Twist white, 10 speed, noon/clear - stand at one end of the pool and cast to the other end then pull it through. Took a few casts for me before it bit :) Thanks kARe in the comments for the help!

Pink Salmon

Joker93 in Discord suggested a silver spoon or perhaps the Marteen 65, but I'm still working on catching one of these - I've seen plenty of them but they're never hungry :D

Hi people just being trying to get the Black Grayling it was suggested to use ROB Classic White. This did not work for me. But the Blue did four times in a row. MORNING setting. useing the position in the text. Thanks for that. Now working on the Pink salmon.

Haha, yeah. I do think the map needs a bit of balancing in terms of the frequency of catching the other fish at viable sizes to make them worth fishing here - but they'll get to that :D

Oh no! I couldn't keep the silver carp off my hook around spot 4 and the pool south o 4 (the bottom right corner of the map) when I was fishing with a smaller hook and snails :(
