[WIP] Birthdays & Gifts guide

For anyone struggling to find what to gift people and when to get that MAXIMUM FRIENDSHIP GAIN

Foreword

This guide contains spoilers for characters that appear after the age of 15.

Some information about using this guide:

1. This guide is a WIP. I am working on using every gift on everyone, but it's an ongoing process.

2. You can only give one gift per season (usually). This can be changed to every month if you get the Level 3 creativity perk.

3. You can always gift on birthdays. If you have already gifted previously in the season, you will be able to gift again on their birthday. This does not work with people who have their birthday in the early months: Rex, Anemone, and Marz.

4. On Birthdays: Cake is +6 for Cal and +4 for everyone else, except for Dys, who is -1 if you give him cake. (Poor kid really just hates the stuff, huh?)

4. Gift bonuses are doubled on birthdays. Liked gifts become +4, indifferent gifts become +2, disliked gifts are still -1.

Birthdays

Note: Cake is, objectively, the best gift to give Cal on his birthday as he gives +6 Friendship and -5 Stress when you do so. Everyone else likes cake and will be +4 on their birthday, except for Dys. Do not give Dys cake. He will always hate it, especially on his birthday.

Never give cake if it is not someone's birthday, you will miss out on friendship points that you would have otherwise gotten.

These values are given with the assumption that you are gifting on a birthday. For non-birthday values, see the next sections.
