By ItsaFryDay
I'm gonna show you a good strategy to farm 50k gold in about 20 minutes.

Basics
This strategy can yield 50k+ gold in 20 minutes. It's best farmed with an infinite weapon.

The level we are doing this on is 5-3. You can do this on any difficulty, though I recommend doing it on baby mode Amateur.
You'll need:
  • A strong weapon (For the Lickers)
  • A rocket launcher (Gift for Wesker later on)
  • A sniper (For the spinny plate part)
  • Healing
The rocket launcher is expensive, and ammo is scarce, so I recommend getting the infinite versions of the guns you choose, especially the rocket launcher.

My setup for this:
Contents
In total we will find:
  • 1 Royal Necklace
  • 1 Jewel Bangle
  • 1 Chalice (Gold)
  • 1 Sapphire (Oval)
  • 1 Emerald (Oval)
  • 1 Topaz (Brilliant)
  • 1 Ruby (Brilliant)
  • 1 Sapphire (Marquise)
  • 1 Heart of Africa
  • 2 Power stones*
  • 1-2 Lion Hearts**
Which is around 50k Gold
* The Power Stones are dropped by the Reapers, and as far as I know, only 2 will spawn from the 3 possible spawn locations
** This is probably based on RNG, I got runs where I only found 1 Lion Heart after defeating all Lickers at the elevator section, but it might be because the AI shoots them down into the pit.
Area 1
After starting the level, go inside the now open room, up the ladder, and go straight forward into the booth where Excella was. In there you'll find a Sapphire (Marquise).
Open the safe inside the booth, to your left as you enter.

That's it for Area 1
Area 2
After going through the loading door, there are some boxes to your right if you'd like to get some extra spenidng gold from the randomly spawning Small Gold packs.
After that, go outside on the catwalk. Deal with the enemies on the other side, then if you want more boxes, go in the room to your left. You'll find some boyes in there.
Now be prepaped for a Reaper, as this one seems to spawn every time. Easiest way to kill them is a rocket launcher (only use it if it's infinite)

After killing a Reaper, it will drop a Power Stone.

Kill the oncoming enemies on the other side again, then jump the gap. Be careful, as there is another Reaper spawn in your way. It is only a chance of him spawning as far as I know, I had runs where he didn't appear here.

After the Reaper has been dealt with, and you picked up the Power Stone, head inside the little room and turn on the power. Be cautious, as there is another Reaper spawn there. It can spawn before you turned the power on, or after leaving the room when the power is on.

We will have people on the platform that you powered on, the most important enemy is the Big Man Majini, guaranteed to drop a Jewel Bangle. Kill them, send your partner to the other side, or go there yourself, and pick up the loot.

Clear the next wave of enemies, and inside the booth you'll find the Royal Necklace.

That's it for Area 2
Area 3
This part has no Treasure in it, the most you can get is some gold drops from the boxes in the beginning, and the troops at the end.

After the boxes, be prepared for the most infuriating section of the level. The Spinny Plate.

That's it for Area 3
Area 4
When you are finished with the worst part of the level, you'll end up in another ruin area. Right before the tunnel opens up into a cave, look up and you'll find the Ruby (Brilliant).

Go through the level as normal, maybe loot the boxes scattered around the place for extra gold. After you turned on the power, go up with the elevator, don't send the AI. You want to get the Lion Hearts, and from experience, the AI won't pick them up, and you cannot access the catwalk from the roof of the building.

After you cleared all the Lickers, and hopefully got the 2 Lion Hearts, jump down into the building, and you'll see 3 lockers. The locker on the left has a Chalice (Gold), the middle one has a First Aid Spray, and the one on the right is probably randomized, sometimes it was empty for me, once I found Magnum ammo inside.

Before going through the door leading into the Boss Fight, look at the top of the door from the bridge, and you'll find a Topaz (Brilliant).

That's it for Area 4
Area 5 (Boss fight)
In this area, you only have 7 minutes to loot the back area, and kill Wesker.

When you start the fight, run to the blue door to your right, hiding behind some pillars. Interact with it when it lets you, and now you can access the upstairs/backrooms. Go up, and follow along the corridor. Make sure that your partner is following you, because we'll need them. Go into the first room you see, aand to your left will be a pot. break it and you'll get a Sapphire (Oval).

The room next to this one holds a tomb, that you can open with your partner. You'll find a Sapphire (Brilliant) and an Emerald (Oval). If you need the Lighting Hawk, then grab that too.

After we looted these spots, kill Wesker. Hiding away, then shooting a rocket launcher at him, blowing it up and firing a few MAG shots into him worked the best for me. After the cutscene, the Heart of Africa will appear between the two stairs downstairs.

Before we save Jill, or just quit with saving our inventory, go back up the stairs and go to your right (or to your left if you are facing the big open area). Go along the path, and break the left pot. Inside will be an Emerald (Brilliant). You can loot this before killing Wesker too if you'd like.

That's it for Area 5
Conclusion
This route was mostly made because maxing every weapon out for the achievement took forever, and it took me a while to figure a good way of farming, so I wanted to share it with you. It's good for a bit of change, if you are bored of other farming methods.
If you know of any treasures I missed, tell me and I'll update this guide.

yeah you could just farm the three diamonds in the last part of chapter 2-2 over and over for 20 minutes and you'll get 80k.

Let me give you my strategy for mass collecting gold. Its on Chapter 5-3, but what you do is defeat Wesker within the 7 mins. This is done by running to the side door, shooting him as soon as the cutscene for door is over thus stunning him. This will cause Chris (in follow mode) to fist fight Wesker. Continue shooting Wesker until he charges you, then run up the stairs with a rocket launcher and fire upon him twice (this is done after he has lost interest/sight of you). Now that he is gone, go collect the Heart of Africa gem as well as the green jewel that is found on the upper rightside walkway ( if youre facing the direction you entered the room from). Once collected the green jewel, quit your game and save. Rinse and repeat. I can get 50k in probly 10 mins if things go smoothly. Items needed: Infinite Magnum and Infinite Rocket Launcher.

Thanks! I heard a lot of people saying 4-1 and 4-2 is the easiest way to farm, but it just didn't cut it for me. After a while it probably gets very repetative anyways, so to change things up this route is perfect for that.

I think 4-1 is the choice for most people in regards to how fast it can be completed, make no mistake the gems in this chapter are very valuable but the total time it takes to complete due to a scripted event makes it not as worthwhile, still a great guide regardless :)
