A step by step with picture guide on how to build your garage.

Locating where the garage is and buying the land

Before you can begin building the garage, you need to buy the land. Go north east to this spot on the map where you'll see a sign to buy the land. If you have trouble finding it, you'll see an icon on your map that indicates it is for sale and can be bought.

Buying blueprints for the garage & accessories

To consolidate how many sections this guide has, I'm going to combine a couple things here.

After buying the land for your garage, you need to buy a blueprint which will let you place it. Blueprints can be bought at the office south west, right under OIC and north west of Olle Speedway.


When interacting with MrHwang at his office to buy the blueprint, you should have noticed there were several different ones you could buy. The other blueprints are parking spots that can be placed. You can either buy them now (assuming you have inventory space. *laughs*) or wait till later. I will cover this more later on.

Delivering Materials

Now that you have the basics out of the way, it's time to build the garage! To do this, you will need to deliver various materials.

The materials you'll be delivering are

• Concrete from the concrete factory.
  
• Sand from one of two construction sites.
  
• Planks from the lumber mill.

If you don't know where one of or all of these places are, I will provide pics below.

(IIRC both construction site in downtown provide sand. However, one of them offers fine sand as well. Remember, ignore fine sand!)

Final Notes and FAQs

Notes:

1. There is no set order for delivering the materials. You can deliver whichever you want first.

2. When holding an item, you'll have the option to "build" and "place". Place is temporary and can freely be picked up. Building it means it cannot be moved unless you destroy it.

Common questions/Issues:

How much does te the land/garage cost?
Land is $200k, garage blueprint is $10k

There's no jobs at the concrete factory, how do I deliver?
You need to deliver sand to the concrete factory first.

There aren't any planks at the lumbermill, why?
You need to deliver logs to the lumbermil from lseung-ag, which is north and slightly to the east of downtown.

Do I need to deliver wood to the furniture store to buy furniture?
Nope! All furniture is available without needing to deliver anything.

Can I demolish my garage if I want to move it?
Yes you can! On the front of the garage, right next to the garage door itself is a control panel you can interact with which will let you destroy the garage. You will get the blueprint for it back.
Please note that you will have to do all the deliveries again!

Can I place parking spots?
Yep! At the same place you bought the garage blue print you can buy different parking spots. Small, medium and large. They are exactly as they sound, different sized parking spots. Parking spots can be placed in and/or outside the garage within the land you own.

To delete/remove a parking spot, Go to the center of the spot where you see the little thing sticking out and interact with it. You will get the parking spot blueprint back.

Can furniture be placed in it?
Yep! Furniture purchased from the furniture store and the ranch can be placed in and outside of the garage (within the land you own) You can destroy furniture to move it around if you wish.

@GangsterFish The way multiplayer works is that it is host dependent. If host has player garage and has their cars inside, that's what you'll see when you go to the garage. All of your cars are despawned when joining a multiplayer server except in the case where you left the game inside of a car.

When you go back to singleplayer, all of your cars will still be in their same spot, your garage will be there, etc.

Now, if you own a garage in singleplayer and join a server where someone hasn't bought or made their garage, nothing happens other than the garage isn't there. It will still be there when you return to SP.
