- Use different engines and gearbox for practice to that of the race. Save your good powertrains for the qualifying and the race. You can gradually burn your practice powertrains to under 30% before they go critical.
- Set your pace and fuel to the most conservative level for practice. Save your engine, and reduce the risk of crashing and running wide as an added bonus.
Try to follow this sequence:
1) Try to get the Straights stat to Great/Optimal. This is majorly influenced by the Rear Wing angle.
2) Try to get Oversteer to Great/Optimal next. This majorly influenced by Front wing angle
3) Try get the Traction Optimal next. This is majorly influenced by Anti-Roll Distribution.
4) Next try get cornering Great/optimal. For that use the Tye Camber slider. This one can take its time.
5) If you are then about 98% confidence I found usually the Braking stability is off. That is only a matter of toe-out anymore. Moving the toe-out by 0.10° to the left or right should do it.
Voila 100% confidence.
In any step don't fiddle too much with the slider you already optimized in a previous step, instead fiddle with one that is further down the sequence since it is less priority.
