Strategy for No Hit Emperor

I found this to be a pretty consistent method of dealing with the Emperor's first and second phases. When he begins the 4 hit "punch combo", stay on the ground, slow down time with your arrow, then quickly attack and dodge when he appears.

Third phase is quite tricky, but with some luck it should be over soon. Consider using the yellow oxinite gem shield instead of the heavy alloy I used, I feel like that could help with the end.

I know there already exists a similar guide on steam, but I found this method to be much easier and more consistent than trying to teleport in the air and bait out the attacks.
