Reading this guide made the difference for me from rage quitting this game to being able to actually win my first run.
This is their main advantage, since they usually have vanish plus additional beneficial effects like Draw, plus energy, plus cards drawn.
Boon cards allow you to optimise your deck into a slick and clean rotation.
Main reason they haven't been included is that they are event based or quest completion based.
But any boon is a good boon :D
