Resolver's Guide to Jackson National Park
By Resolver
Greetings virtual anglers! I'm glad to be back writing guides for UFS 2. I hope you find them useful in your virtual fishing journey. This guide lists the locations, lures, techniques, hooks, and baits I used to catch all the species in Jackson National Park. Check out the end for a location map and information on special event fish. I will be updating it regularly, so check back often and feel free to leave a comment. Enjoy!

Hook size:
Bait:
Time of day (M/A/E/N): M, A, E
Notes: 10/12/22 - caught a largemouth just southwest of location 7 with the Rob. sonic s33 10g at straight 22%. This is a good lure to use because the smaller fish won't bite.

10/7/22 Update - Just caught a Largemouth Bass under the bridge at location 1 in the evening with Rob. Classic Twist 8cm pink 14% slow straight. Picture below. Update 2 - just caught another the same day with the orange Rob. Classic Twist 8 cm in the morning. Looks like they're biting again.

[Old - Edit: There is currently an issue with this fish spawning on the map. Developers said they're looking into it on 9/29/22 in the discussion forum. Caught while clear and overcast. A little harder to find, but did just catch another one at location 3 with a Rob. Classic Twist 8 cm - white lure. Fishing with the Sonic S33 10g does makes it where the small fish like pumpkinseed and pickerels won't bite.]

[Old - These guys are more rare than the other species on the map (bluegill and largemouth bass are the other two that are harder to find). I've caught 4 redfins recently, each southeast of 5 with the Rob. Classic Twist 8 cm - black/blue - slow straight 15% - afternoon/evening - overcast/clear. All 4 were 20-70 ft. from the shore. Pictures below. Hope that helps! ]

Halloween Special - Zombie Bass
To catch these guys, just use the special Halloween bait or lure on the spooky version of Jackson National Park. They are all over the map. I caught a 5-star ZB at location 6. Good luck!

Tutorial - Chain Pickerel
This species isn't at Jackson National Park; it's in the tutorial. In case you missed it, when fishing for the fish you get to keep in the tutorial, you can keep letting fish bite until you catch a chain pickerel. I moved about a quarter circle clockwise around the pond when I caught mine. Just use the setup they give you. Good luck!

Location map
Hope this helps the realistic players. Cheers!

Hey Resolver i love your guides for the game but could you put a location map in there for the realistic players? That would be really helpful

Stuka - confirmed! I fished that spot frequently with that lure when the LB's weren't biting in September. Just gave it a try and was succesful! Updated LB section with info and pic. Thanks! Good luck :pikefish:

Kuro - good call on the bleak with #16 hook. I was able to catch a redfin and plenty of grass pickerels in a nighttime storm with that setup :fhappy: Added a pic to the redfin section. Thanks again!

I followed your guides for several maps and have been experimenting a lot (ultimate bait / lure for specific fish).

Today I was feeling a bit cheeky and fished at Jackson to aim for a redfin pickerel. That was the 5th time aiming to get one and the first success.

I fished at 5 SE  (exactly the spot in your screenshots). At night - storm.

My setup: bait hook #16 and bleak. About 20-30% of all catches were pickerel. (The rest was mostly salmon and bass)

senillosa - northern pike is on the "Zalasie Letnisko" map. My guide for that one has info on how to catch it. I don't think they're at Jackson Nat. park. Good luck!
