In-depth Koboldkare Guide

An extensive guide on the games mechanics, various tools, possible interactions and how the basic gameplay loop functions.

Map overview

What the Kobold doing?

The game revolves around you breeding and interacting with your kobolds in lewd ways. These interactions include:

-Growing the Kobolds "attributes" ( Booba, Wang, Balls, fatness ) trough the use of fruits
-Using them for labor to work various machines and tools
-Freeze them in various poses
-And most importantly very wholesome and consensual secks.

Important to note is that NPC Kobolds and player Kobolds share the exact same rules and behaviour, so anything you can do with a NPC you can also do with another player and vice verca.

Controls and schmovement

Besides the regular stuff like moving, jumping ,crouching etc. there's some more fancy stuff:

Hold F to ragdoll yourself for funneh physics
X and Z to literally Expand Dong or sheathe
C to toggle third person
1,2,3,4 to toggle various cameras. 1-> first person, 2-> third person again, 3-> free cam, 4-> free cam that now follows your movement
Hold R and move mouse/Scrollwheel to move your hips.
Hold Shift to switch grab modes. In this mode you can rotate objects you hold with r, or freeze them in place with right click. Frozen things can be unfrozen individually with Q or all at once by holding Q

Koboldkare has similar physics to Source Games like Counter strike or Half Life. That means you can strafe in the air and steadily build up speed trough bunnyhopping. Alternatively you can also Hold F to ragdoll, grab your own leg with shift-click and then scroll away to build up ludicrous speed, because it just works.

Consumables and Kobold attributes

Fruits can be collected from the small forest and will respawn every few minutes. You can also buy seeds from the garden shop and then plant them in your farm. Once you have the fruits, you need to grind them in the grinder to juice so your kobolds ( or yourself) can drink it.

Here's a quick rundown on what fruits and consumables do and how bigger attributes affect Kobolds:

Melon-> Booba growth -> give more milk when milked
Eggplant -> Wang growth
Pineapple-> Balls growth -> produce more spunk
Melon + Eggplant + Heart ( pop up whenever Kobolds have secks) -> Giant growth
Mushroom -> shrink everything.

Metabolism

1. Energy: every action that a Kobolds performs requires energy, be it working a machine or secks. To replenish energy, a Kobold needs to be put into the bed. After 10 seconds the Kobold will automatically stand up with replenished energy.

2. Stomach capacity: Anything a Kobold consumes be it water, Juice or other liquids fill the Kobolds stomach until the bar is full. Anything else the Kobold consumes while the bar is full overrides whats already inside. Kobolds automatically digest their stomachcontents and gain the benefits. (Fruits turn into growth, Spunk turns into eggs etc.) This Bar can be extended by using the Inflator Machine next to the river.

3. metabolism bar: When a Kobold digests fruits or consumables that changes it's body, the bottom bar slowly fills up. Once the bar is filled the Kobold can no longer digest anymore body changing juices. This bar can be extended by consuming Yogurt, which is made by combining Milk + Manjuice.

Farming and Breeding

Farming is pretty simple, put an egg or seeds in a empty farming plot and then water it with a bucket. After 30 seconds they'll go into the next stage where you water them again. After another 30 seconds you'll get a fully grown Kobold or harvestable plant.

As for Breeding Kobolds, because the new metabolism system restricts how much you can affect a Kobolds shape, you now have to rely on breeding optimal offspring. Offspring share a mix of their parents attributes like a middleground between the parents color, a big Wang from the father and big Booba from the mother. The new Kobold will have a empty Metabolism bar, so you can customise them again. By making long breeding chains, you can have Kobolds with very large sizes down the family tree.

Farm tools and machines

1. Farm plot where you farm fruits and grow Kobolds
2. Selling Bin where you can sell pretty much anything for Money.
3. Grinder to grind down fruits, eggs and other consumables. requires a Kobold with enough Energy to operate
4. Barn with egg laying stations. Requires a pregnant Kobold with enough energy to lay eggs.
5. Barn with various tools primarily for cooking.
6. Inflator which can be used to greatly expand any kobolds Stomach capacity ( the middle bar of the 3 on the top left). Simply dump any Liquid in the container, place a Kobold on the station and then activate the pump by walking into it.
7. Juice press that presses all juice and body changes out of a Kobold to reset their metabolism.
8. Mind transfer station where you can put an NPC Kobold and yourself inside to switch which Kobold you control.





1. Shower to fill buckets with water and clean Kobolds.
2. Toilet to empty a Kobolds stomach. Doesn't affect the Metabolism bar.
3. Bathtub with same purpose like the Shower but bigger.
4. Bed to replenish a Kobolds energy up to a certain point. Simply place any Kobold on the bed, they will automaticly jump out once they have capped out on energy.
5. Mini grinder that automaticly grinds stuff without needing to be activated by a Kobold. Simply put whatever needs grinding on top of the grinder.



1. Same mini grinder like in the house.
2. Milking Station to milk well endowed Kobolds. requires one Kobold on the bench and another one to operate.
3. Different kind of milking station to "milk" male Kobolds. Requires just one Kobold with a schlong.

Making Kobolds Fat / Foods

Feeding Kobolds Juices to grow tits or schlongs is simple enough, but making them chunky takes a bit more effort. Every consumable has a certain calorie value that is converted to energy upon digestion. When a Kobolds energy bar is full, any additional energy is converted into fat. Kobolds can loose fat by perfoming actions that require energy

Common stuff like fruit juice, water, manjuice etc. have very little calories and grant nearly no energy whenever a Kobold digests them. more advanced foods like Cake, Pie, Burgers etc. grant way more energy and can make Kobolds pretty fat very quickly

Theres a different guide on steam by another user that explains the different foods and the recipes to make them in detail and i recommend you check it out. Here i will give you the 2 simplest and most essential foods:

Milk + Manjuice = Yogurt > Extends a Kobolds Metabolism bar ( the bottom one of the 3 in the top left corner of the screen) up to a certain cap. The extended bar gets caried over to the offspring of the Kobold and the bar can be extended again until a higher cap is reached and so forth.


Grind Eggs to get scrambled egg juice.

Scrambled egg + Milk = Eggnog > has a decent calorie value to make Kobolds fat and can be easily made, only requiring a handfull of both female and male kobolds. The 2 barns offer everything you need to make Eggnog.

The aformentioned Cakes, Pies etc. have a much higher calorie value than Eggnog, but they also need way more effort to make with regular trips to the shops to get materials and farming stuff etc.

Quests

You get quests from the mailbox rigtht outside the house. The quests are pretty self explainatory. For each completed quest you gain a star to unlock shops and other buildings. Once a quest is completed you have to interact with the mailbox again to get the next one.

Basic Gameplay Loop

The game offers you lots of freedom on what you want to do, but here are some tips to get things going smoothly quick.

1. Breed your first Kobold as the game wants you to. While the Kobold grows or any downtime you can go grab some fruits from the forest or buy eggs for 5 bucks in the store in the city.

2. Before selling the first Kobold, breed it a few times and lay some eggs so you have a bunch of Kobolds ready.

3. Sell a kobold and then continue with the quests.

4. Once you have a grinder feed some Melonjuice to females and Pineapplejuice to males. keep them to produce large amounts of milk and Manjuice for Yogurt and other uses.

5. Keep breeding Kobolds with big assets, as they sell for way more than less endowed Kobolds. Breeding 2 Kobolds with both big booba and Schlongs works best as they ensure that the offspring will always have these assets.


By following these steps you should have a steady income of money and important juices like Milk, Manjuice and eggs for other endeavors.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer works mostly the same as Solo, but there are some things to keep in mind:

1. If another player grabs you, you can regain control simply by pressing spacebar.
2. Every player has their own money pool, so be kind and only grab the money you need.
3. If you grab something it becomes "yours" in the sense when you leave, everything that's "yours" also disapears, so don't needlessly grab everything you see if you leave soon.
4. Servers can become pretty laggy if there are dozens of Kobolds and other items scattered about. so don't make too much of a mess and if you breed lots of kobolds, sell off the unwanted ones to keep the server running smoothly for everyones sake.

"3. Bathtub with same purpose like the Shower but bigger." for addition for adv playing - you can store liquids in tub, and even brew much more reagents than using buckets, watering cans... if you spoil thing you wanted to make just use bathtub drain(but you will need to start over from beginning)

You have to be holding shift and looking at the specific point you want to unfreeze, then press Q.

Ugh i dont understand this guide cuz its said u can unfrozen with Q but its do not work at all!. Im not sure if that the correct bind or its a another bind. Please help T-T

Yes, you can clear the farm plot by placing a banana to a rock you want gone, just put water on it and then it clears the way.
