Introduction
This guide contains information on where to find stuff in ADACA, both in the Campaign and Zone Patrol modes. This includes door codes, as well as the locations of early, rare and unique weapons, equipment, some other interesting items, and a couple of easter eggs.
Please be aware that this guide only lists specific rare items (or early non-rare weapon locations in the Campaign), so there are still lots of secrets and really useful items hidden throughout the Campaign and Zone Patrol modes which aren't listed here. This guide is not meant to be a detailed walkthrough.

IMPORTANT: Much of the fun of playing ADACA comes from exploration, so I strongly recommend only using this guide if you've already gone through the game once, or if you REALLY can't find the code that'll unlock that one door that's giving you a headache.

This guide is currently for version 1.3.7 of ADACA

Rare Weapons
Crossbow - a silent (?) crossbow with reusable bolts.
Move to the easternmost part of the map, near the exit to THE PIT (Free Scrappers base). There's a building here with a 'West Adacadian Mining Corp.' sign on the side (the building you'll need to enter to get to the Free Scrappers base). Get inside that building, then use clutter objects to make your way to the uppermost level. The Crossbow is lying on a table here and there are more bolts stuck in a mannequin opposite the table.
Pulsar - a 4-round burst fire variant of the Plasma Rifle, with a plasma torpedo secondary fire mode
Make your way to the southern part of the map. You'll find yourself on a road running from east to west that's partially enclosed in a tube-like superstructure. Follow that road to its westernmost end. There's a Police drop pod there, with a corpse and the Pulsar weapon.
Tank Gun - An ordinary-looking Rocket Rifle but with a much larger explosion radius and more ammunition than the standard Rocket Rifle
Make your way to the eastermost part of the map, near the exit to THE PIT (Free Scrappers base). There's a building here with a 'West Adacadian Mining Corp.' sign on the side (the building you'll need to enter to get to the Free Scrappers base). Go up the stairs, but instead of entering the building, turn around and jump onto the brown pipes running from north to south. Move along the pipes to the south until you're right in front of the red-and-white 'water tower'. Jump up and you should see the Tank Gun lying on top of the 'water tower'. Use your gravity glove to grab it mid-jump.
Signal Sweeper - a tool that can be used to locate electronic equipment in the zone
Enter THE DISH from STORM DRAIN. Enter the brick building in front of you and climb the ladder to the upper level. Go into the next room on the upper level to find the Signal Sweeper on a small table.

Follow the hallway further into the fleshy area to destroy the thing that's creating the hallucinations. Now trace your steps back to where you just moved up the stairs. Turn left again, but instead of going right to the hallucination thing, there should now be an opened door in front of you (where you can see the blood on the ground). Node-04 is in the room behind this door.

THE PINES -> STONE TREE
Miscellaneous
How to enter STONE TREE in the first place
Enter THE PINES from JUNCTION 06. You may notice a big futuristic flesh-infested locomotive flying hovering in the sky directly to your left (it lights the area in red, so it's easy to spot). I think it typically spawns at night. If the locomotive has spawned, follow the train tracks over the bridge until you can see research station B-1 to your left. Stand next to the the tank with the radar dish on top, then move northwest into the little forested area. You should come across a nondescript hatch on the ground. Now wait for the locomotive to reach that area. Once the locomotive is directly above the hatch, it will open, allowing you access to STONE TREE.
Data Cache Reader
Enter STONE TREE, walk down the two sets of stairs, then take the set of stairs to your left, which leads you onto a platform. From here, follow the stairs down to the lower platform, then another set of stairs to a third, smaller platform (directly west of the strange rock formation). The Data Cache Reader is on that final platform.
Data Cache
Enter STONE TREE, walk down the two sets of stairs, then ignore the stairs leading to a platform to your left. Instead, follow the platform and the stairs until you're standing on the rock formation lining the walls of the cavern. Walk to the east, then turn towards the north. You'll be able to see the dodecahedron with the Data Cache inside to the north, slightly hidden behind a rocky outcrop.
Red Weapons Chest
Enter STONE TREE, walk down the two sets of stairs, then ignore the stairs leading to a platform to your left. Zone Patrol - STORM DRAIN
Codes
Arrow Head One - a bunker hidden behind the waterfall in the southwestern part of the map
325174
Miscellaneous
Sleeper Pod
Enter STORM DRAIN from BEACH HEAD. Move south until you can see the big building with the entrance to THE DISH (the building which has a radar dish symbol over its gate and a SAVLO logo to the right of the gate). To your right (west), you'll see a passage leading to a smaller area (not the one with the railway system). Follow this small passage and you'll find yourself in an area with water canals. Immediately after entering the area, turn right, enter the canal and look towards the metal bars in the water - the Sleeper Pod is behind those bars.

STORM DRAIN -> ARROW HEAD ONE
Rare Weapons

Laz Magnum - a powerful laser pistol
Once you've progressed a fair bit into the Custodian's quest line, you'll get access to the hatch on the ground in the northeast of STORM DRAIN, which leads to a bunker containing a Laz Magnum as well as several useful not-quite-rare weapons (such as a Grenade Launcher, a Machine Gun, Tactical SMGs and Tactical Pistols etc.). You'll also find lots of ammunition as well as an infinite ammo chest and an infinite grenade chest.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Zone Patrol - Secret Teleporter Hub
Miscellaneous
How to get to the Secret Teleporter Hub in the first place
The Zone will sometimes spawn purple 'rift' anomalies, and there are also fixed rifts in THE PINES and SOUTH RIDGE, all of which can be easily identified from a distance by their purple glow. Walking into these rifts will teleport you to a random location, but occasionally, you'll be teleported to the Secret Teleporter Hub instead. As of right now, there doesn't appear to be a way to force the rift to bring you to the Secret Teleporter Hub, so getting there might require jumping into rifts a lot until the RNG gods are with you.
Some people report that following the friendly astral dog which can sometimes be encountered in THE PINES is a reliable way to get to the Secret Teleporter Hub. The dog should lead you to the teleporter rift on the little island and it's possible that this triggers the Secret Teleporter Hub as a fixed destination when walking into the rift.

Sleeper Pod
Once you get teleported into the Secret Teleporter Hub, you can find the Sleeper Pod by going north by northwest. The Sleeper Pod is in the lower area with the blue/purple floor.

Zone Patrol FAQ
Where is the tier 1 key card?
Enter JUNCTION 06 from BEACH HEAD and follow the train tracks west. Behind the building marked 'Depot 6-C', you'll see a four-storey building. Get inside and make your way to the third floor (counting the ground floor as first floor). The key card is on the table next to a bunch of computers.
Where is the tier 2 key card?
It's in the Data Center in THE DISH. Ride the elevator up and enter the westernmost room. The key card is on the computer console directly underneath the window which overlooks the southwestern part of the map, opposite the Data Cache Reader.
Where is the tier 3 key card?
Find BSMT-535 in BEACH HEAD (it's a location on the map, not a separate map). Enter the code-locked door and you should see the key card on a table to your left.
Where can I find rare weapon XYZ not listed in this guide?
Weapons Chests: The game spawns random weapons in three types of chests:
1. Orange chests seem to have a low chance of spawning very common weapons and a high chance to spawn things like ammo and shield energy.
2. Green chests spawn common to rare weapons such as the Heavy Rifle, Plasma Rifle, Swarm Launcher etc.
3. Red chests spawn very rare weapons such as the Phantom Rifle, Flame Thrower or Fusion Cannon.

Concussion Rifle: One reliable way to get a Concussion Rifle is to do the Free Scrappers mission you get after finding the scout. This mission has you kill three Conflux Cardinals, all of which carry Concussion Rifles. Note that once the Cardinals are dead, they won't respawn, so you can't get Concussion Rifles from them infinitely.
Early access to rare weapons: If you have the companion Mike, you can get a number of (common or rare) weapons early. Every time you switch the map, Mike spawns with a different weapon. You can then pick up any gun from the environment with your gravity glove and gently toss it to Mike - he will pick up that gun, leaving the one he spawned with on the ground. The weapons I've seen Mike spawn with include (but are not limited to): Tac Shotgun, Automatic Shotgun, Pistol, Heavy Rifle, Grenade Launcher, Tac Combat Rifle, Smart Rifle, Seeker Rifle, Laz Magnum, Bum Leg, DMR, Ancient Rifle.
Where can I find traders to buy equipment?
Note: If you're looking for a detailed breakdown of what you can buy from which trader, you can find that in Elegant Caveman's guide.
There are four vendors in the game:
1. The quartermaster on the VAKT ship sells basic weapons.
2. The quartermaster in THE PIT (Free Scrappers base, reachable via THE DISH) sells advanced weapons and some equipment.
3. Rook in ROOK'S NEST (reachable via SOUTH RIDGE) sells high-tech (energy) weapons and advanced equipment.
4. The shop keeper in SHOP (reachable via NECROPOL) sells some particularly rare weapons as well as some equipment.

What are artifacts for, where do I find them and are there enough of them?
Note: For a detailed list of artifact locations, refer to Elegant Caveman's guide.
Artifacts are used to buy items from vendors. Once you've bought a weapon or piece of equipment, your purchase will be available in the VAKT ship's armoury whenever you start Zone Patrol.
Artifacts are sometimes hidden in hard-to-reach spots or underneath clutter objects. I strongly recommend using the PV-09 Goggles to make artifact hunting much less of a hassle.
As of version 1.3.7 of ADACA, there aren't enough artifacts in the zone or in the mission areas to buy everything, but the character Rook will eventually give you a quest called "Shooting Stars" which involves securing drop pods falling from the sky. Securing such a drop pod will reward you with artifacts, and as far as I'm aware, you can do this infinitely to farm infinite artifacts.

How do I unlock the companions?
VAKT Conscript: This companion should be unlocked as soon as you enter the zone for the first time and receive the first radio communication from VAKT about how you're on your own out there.
Mishka: In the VAKT ship's hangar, find Mishka the dog to the right of the drop ship. Pet the dog (you know you want to!) to unlock Mishka as a companion.
Mike: In the VAKT ship's hangar, use the ladder to climb up to the 'balcony' with the yellow railings to find a duck. Use the duck to unlock Mike.
Casadoor: Complete the Free Scrappers mission to find the scout, then walk by the Free Scrappers hanging out between Calliope and the vendor, by the radio. Casadoor will talk to you about another mission, unlocking this companion. If Casadoor doesn't talk to you immediately after finishing the mission for Calliope, just exit the area, enter it again and walk up to Casadoor.
Ko-Dak: Enter ARROWHEAD ONE, follow the hallway, climb up the ladder or take the elevator and follow the level until you find the exit blocked by an iron grille. This will unlock the Arrowhead One mission in the VAKT ship. After completing that mission, you'll have access to Ko-Dak as a companion.
Crow: Enter THE PINES from JUNCTION 06 and follow the train tracks until you come to a train bridge. Cross the bridge, turn right and look at the grass-covered raised outcrop overlooking the beach (northeast fo the electricity pylon). Get on that outcrop and you should see a red flower. Pick up that flower. The next time you get close to Crow, you'll automatically hand over the flower, permanently unlocking Crow as a companion. I believe Crow spawns randomly on some Zone Patrol maps, but I've found the S-shaped hallway right after entering ADMINISTRATION from CONDUIT to be a very reliable way to get Crow to spawn. Just leave the area and re-enter it a bunch of times and Crow should spawn eventually.
Zone Patrol FAQ - Quests
Which symbols do I have to put into the five nodes?
Hint:Here are the hints you can find in the zone (in no particular order):
LIGHTNING IN THE POWER SUPPLY
HAMMER IN LIVING ROOM
WOLF IN THE WOLF DEN
STAR HIGH IN THE WELL WATCHED SKY
COG IN THE WATER WHEEL

Solution:The hints each refer to a location and the symbol you have to put into the node at that location:
Node-01 in THE DISH: a four-pronged star
Node-02 in CONDUIT: a lightning bolt
Node-03 in CISTERN: a cog
Node-04 in THE BOWELS: a hammer
Node-05 in WOLF BUNKER: a wolf's head

How do I find the geomarkers left behind by the scout?
Hint:This is about the quest you get from the Free Scrappers. Keep in mind that this scavenger hunt isn't limited to THE DISH map. If you're having trouble finding the geomarkers, find the Signal Sweeper in THE DISH. It will point towards electronic equipment such as the geomarkers you're looking for. By the way: The geomarkers emit a blinking green light which makes them easier to spot.
Solution:You'll find one marker in THE DISH near the entrance to the base that contains the Data Center. The second one is behind the waterfall in STORM DRAIN. The third is hidden among trash in the water in the main tunnel area of CATACOMBS and the fourth is in JUNCTION 06 near the exit to CATACOMBS, next to the lake. Finally, the scout can be found behind a door inside a big building in the upper city area of NECROPOL.
Where do I find the three Conflux cardinals?
Solution:The first cardinal can be found in BLUE CAVERNS, in the building at the end of the long bridge (on the opposite side from the end with the huge tower).
The second cardinal can be found in the NECROPOL sewer area - see "K-102" in this guide for the exact location.
The third cardinal is in the upper area of the POWER PLANT.
Where are the three heavy drones?
Solution:The first drone is in the NECROPOL sewer area.
The second drone is in BLUE CAVERNS, in the building marked PT-21. Go to the huge bridge in the lower area and move to the big tower at one end of the bridge. Turn right and you should see the building.
The third drone is in CKT 006, the sub-area you can reach through CISTERN. You have to swim up to the upper level of the area with the strange reactor thing. The drone should be in the control room up there.
Zone Patrol Maps
There are two maps that can help you with finding locations in Zone Patrol: Your personal map which you can access by pressing 'J', and the systems map you can find on the information terminals scattered throughout the zone. Note that some in-game locations aren't marked on either map.

Here's the systems map:

And here's the journal map with the markers for specific locations:
1: STAG BUNKER
2: WOLF BUNKER
3: BM-061
4: Drop Ship Landing Zone
5: COMS BUNKER
6: ARROW HEAD ONE
7: Data Center

In case someone is still looking: i've found the location of the hint for Node 01. It's in Administration on a desk in one of the office cubicles, in the same room where the code for the door to power plant is .

I think you may be referring to the thing I called "Hatch and Tower" in this guide. You have to put the code into a keypad on top of a squat tower in The Dish, which then opens a hatch in the ground near the exit to the Free Scrappers base . This is actually part of the main quest of zone patrol.

Any idea what the bunker is for in the Dish? Has a code saying 8686, and is marked by a question mark using the terminal map

Thanks. I couldn't find the way to obtain the code for the door at the end of the Epicenter. So I had to refer to this guide.

Ah, I figured it out, on my way to Node 2 in Conduit! I guess I missed it before.

So uhh... I am still not sure what the Sleeper Pods are for, is there some mission I've missed or an NPC I haven't talked to? I see the sleeper pods quite often but no purpose for them... Yet.

Thank you for this, it was extremely helpful for completing zone patrol.

IIRC, you should be able to find the item needed for the Rittman quest by going to the board room with the big table next to the stairs in Administration. The item should be on the table. It's the board room I used as the header screenshot for the Administration section in this guide.

By the way, where the hell is Rittman? I've been all through Power Plant, Administration - and heck, THE ENTIRE MAP - and I seemingly cannot find him.

It was data caches. Also, found the thing that lets me listen to their dreams.

Almost too bad you don't get a companion out of it...
