Piggy Bank Guide and Secondary Jobs Farming

Want to get all the rewards off the event? Here is a simple guide to it

How does the event work?

When you enter payday2 you will see a new option over "Play online", when you press it you will get into a version of crimenet where every day on every single job has a piggy bank on it, including escapes.

How to level up Piggy Banks

When you kill enemies, some will drop a bag that when dropped onto the piggy bank it will fill up and level up.

Level 0 to Level 1 - 1 Bag
Level 1 to Level 2 - 19 Bags
Level 2 to Level 3 - 60 Bags (5% every 3 bags)
Level 3 to Level 4- 160 (5% every 8 bags)
Level 4 to Level 5 - 320 (5% every 16 bags)

To get more bags theres 2 options, kill with headshots or use the especial flamethrower secondary weapon added to the event.

Remember that if the bag isnt on the back of someone it will explode after some time

Special Weapon - Money thrower

To get the Money thrower you just have to go to any mission kill enought enemies for them to drop 10 bags, drop them on the piggy, and then compleate the mission. (I recomend to do 4 shops and Ukrainian Job since they are easy to do and fast).

After doing them you can claim it on the secondary job page.

The Money thrower on normal difficulty will one-shot enemies with just one tap so it is optimal for farming later on.

There are also 6 more secondary jobs.


With a community objective

- Gloves - Break a level 1 piggy bank + 100k bags.
- Suit - Break a level 2 piggy bank + 1.5M bags.
- Mask - Break 6 level 1 piggy banks + 3M bags.

Without community objective
- 500k Xp - Give 20 bags to a piggy on 3 diferent missions.
- 3M Xp - Breaking 6 level 2 piggy banks in 6 diferent missions in overkill or higher dificulty.
- 15M Xp - Break 10 level 3 piggy banks in 10 diferent missions in overkill or higher dificulty.

How to farm the event? (For secundary Jobs)

- Unlock the Money Thrower.

- Build your character around having ammunition and being hard to kill

- Play missions on normal difficulty.

- Level the piggy as far as you want.

- Compleat the mision

This is a really basic guide made in to help the people who can't be bothered to search for info.

I made it whit what I experienced in the game. If I'm wrong and you know the real answer just tell me and ill change it

for the ones in 10th anniversary, the headshots one doesn't work for some reason

For the ones in the 10th anniversary event, if you manage to get damage reduction in the shacklethorne auction, you're pretty much unkillable thanks to a bug so use that heist if you want to farm the piggy.

I cant confirm or deny this, but it looks like the exp rewards dont get added to your infamy pool, just your 1-100

i did harvest and trustee and recieved 1% per piggy bucks bag @ stage 2 the guide says 60 bags maximum for stage 2.

Did stage 5 Mallcrasher ovk solo. 2:20ish.
Pretty cheese, but tedious. I'd recommend doing it on MC, you can farm at the doors and the bank is right there. No cops from sides or behind, only from upstairs. Cars for cover.

Curious if anyone knows what you get for it? Don't tell me I have to do it on Mayhem or higher to get anything from Stage 5...
