Corridor 7 Cheats

Summary:
Cheat codes for Corridor 7 allowing for level warping, god mode, and so on. All of these are taken directly from one of the few Corridor 7 fansites I've seen around (https://corridor7.tripod.com/), but the site remains abandoned nowadays seemingly and bringing them here for the easier convenience of the average Steam player seems like a good idea.

The WAX code

How to WAX yourself! Sort of...
The first cheat worth noting is what I affectionately call the WAX code. Name is self-explanatory, press the W, A, and X keys together at the same time. This will give the player:
- Every single weapon (some might be missing depending on which version you're playing, obviously)
- 100 HP
- The proximity map
- 200 rounds of ammunition for non-alien weapons
- 100 alien charges
- 25 mines
Be warned in advance however, if you give any ♥♥♥♥♥ at all, that in activating this, your score will automatically reset to 0.

Diagnostic cheat codes

These cheat codes require you start C7 with "level1diagnostic" command line parameter. You must press Ctrl, left Shift, and Tab keys at the same time during gameplay, and if you've done all this successfully you'll receive a notification that says "Special keys enabled".

God Mode
To activate god mode, press backspace + G. You already should know what god mode does.

Debug Mode
To activate debug mode, press backspace + D. This will allow you to see your exact coordinates, constructional information in the level immediately surrounding you.

Level Warping [b/]
This code allows you to warp to any levels you wish. To activate it, press backspace + W. If inputted successfully, you should see a prompt saying "Warp to which level", and then you can put in any of these levels as such:
- Levels 1-30 Initial 30 levels in Delta Base
- Levels 31-36 Bonus levels A-F
- Levels 31-40 Alien World levels
- Levels 41-46 Bonus levels A-F
- Levels 47-50 Empty, not used
- Levels 51-58 Network/modem levels
- Levels 59-60 Empty, not used
Again, like the WAX code, be warned that this will reset your score to 0.

No-Clipping
No-clip's a bit wonky in this game but not surprising. Either way, activated by pressing backspace + N. Noticing a trend here? Using this you can walk through walls, doors, and aliens, basically any solid object in-game. One of my favorites to mess around with. Also note that there's a room in level 2 which you can only get to with this code.

Points Abuse and Ammunition
Press backspace + I to activate this. You'll add 100,000 points to your score (a good way of mitigating points loss from level-warping and using the WAX code, I might add), on top of gaining 200 rounds of ammunition and 100 alien charge points. You gain more with each subsequent use if you have an Ammo Pack. Should also give you the next-most powerful weapon from whatever you're holding at that point, unless you already have each one.

In conclusion, these should be all the main cheats that I figure might be the most fun to mess with or might help you if you're struggling with the game. FYI, the tripod website mentioned was created by me many years ago. When Lycos did there “restructuring”, I was locked out of the site. As a result, it is indeed involuntarily abandoned. Still a fan of the game, but have since lost interest in remaking the site again.

@Spuner There is a way to rebind controls to the most optimal they can be. Of course though this game just desperately needs a source port.

This game does not need cheat codes, it needs a normal (modern) control.
