What features does the H.E.V suit have?

In the Half-Life series of games, we used protective suits from the H.E.V series and in this guide I want to talk about all its features.

History of the H.E.V.

We first saw the H.E.V suit in the Black Mesa Labs, it was designed to work with dangerous materials (associated with high temperatures and low temperatures as well as radioactive materials or waste) and was also used to explore a dimension called Xen although as we saw in Half-Life 1, many did not return back to Half-Life 1, it was our main character "Gordon Freeman" who was dressed in one of the same suits.
Already in Half-Life 2 we saw an improved version of the mark 5 suit, it was improved by Gordon Freeman's old friend Dr. Kleiner and in the game itself, we were dressed in this costume.

Features of H.E.V.

The main task of the suit is to protect the user who wears this suit, and therefore the suit has a lot of different protection functions, but I will talk about the most basic ones.

1) Radiation protection.
2) Protection against damage means falling from a great height
or from bullets as well as other damage options.
3) There is also a system with an antidote for poisonous headcrab toxin.

The suit has more protection options, but these are the most interesting, but for the protection to work fully, you need to replenish the energy of the suit using either small batteries or chargers.

What is the difference between Mark 4 and Mark 5?

There are no strong differences between the costume models, but they are still there.

1) The mark 5 suit has built-in binoculars, thanks to which we can see more distant objects. In turn, the mark 4 does not have such a function.

2) The suit has an antidote system against toxins, poisonous headcrabs. And this system, as you might guess, is not in mark 4.

3) The suit has a different design.

The bottom line is what we learned about the H.E.V suit.
