How to install mod loader and play with mods.

In this guide I will tell how to install mod loader and download mods.

Prelude:

I want to say that Eglish is not my native, so there can be so much grammar issues.

Installing mod loader:

First you need to download mod loader on gamebanana [gamebanana.com].
Then, go to the root of sonic mania folder and unzip archive with mod loader in this folder.

Installation mods:

In the archive of mod loader we have folder "mods", in this folder you need to put mod folder (you need to put exactly the folder, not the archive).
Then launch mod loader and see this window:

You need to check the box and press "Install loader", then press "Save" (or "Save & play" if you want to save and start (you may not press Save & play, to play with mods)).

oh when i press install loader i did all the other steps and tried to open game and it had an exception error and crashed

HydroLyo, what problem do you have? I kinda dont understand. If you press Save & play and sonic mania didn't open, then try to check the box of mod that you need and press "Install loader", then press "Save", and open the game in steam.

Maybe its a mod issue, maybe your sonic mania .dll file is missing. Try to reinstall game.
