hi, one of the recent updates added layers, so if you can figure out how they work, it would help you make the process a bit easier.
You can turn it on in the editor by clicking "View" button (on the top left), then "Show layers bar".
This would make it easier to work with each floor separately. Create first floor on one layer, second floor on another, and you will be able to edit each floor without interfering with other floors
