DESTROY THE THIEVES' GUILD! [WIP]

I appreciate that people are still invested in this mod after years of being abandoned. While my video game morals are a little less black and white than they were in 2014, I still find it weird and disappointing that you can't do anything about the guild of thieves that prey exclusively on the poor and weak, the absolute antithesis of everything Oblivion's TG stood for. And yeah, Bethesda really didnt consider when making Skyrim that maybe the player might want to take anything but the most obvious (to them) course of action in any scenario. That said, I still don't think that its possible to remedy these oversights with the dialogue presented in-game; I've seen it attempted with the equally short-sighted "choices" presented in Fallout 4, and found these attempts pretty unsatisfying. So tl;dr- this mod is still probably never coming back, but if someone wants to work with the barely functional mess I left here and update it I would be interested to see the result.

This fixes the problem of BETHESDA's lack of Vision. A Chaotic Good or Lawful Good Character would obviously wipe out the Thieve's Guild as well as the Black Hand. Alternatively, a True Dragon Born may want to restore the Dragons to power, enslave all the cities, restart all the Dragon cult religions, and resurrect All the Draugr and Dragon Priests to full LIFE again, fulfilling the dragon's promises to their many long suffering followers. The final goal for the dragon born: get out of being a biped race, and transform back into a full sized dragon, living in a dragon home, sleeping comfortably on a huge pile of gold, and being Dragon Lord of Skyrim.
Another Alternative: The player character wipes out the leader of the black hand and the leader of the thieves guild and takes over becoming the Crime Boss for all of Skyrim...

Ah, finally someone with good ideas. Personally I always simply 'disable' Bryn as soon as I see him, which renders this specific quest line moot as well. And you can still find Esbern no problem so he's really redundant.

But yes, Stones of Barenziah are the one thing, but the diaries of that crazy necrophilic necromancer up in Winterhold are another, too.

I'm not deleting it from the workshop in case anyone else takes an interest in it and wants to finish it. but I'm probably not going to do it anytime soon unless Bethesda unexpectedly fixes the Creation Kit lol. sorry guys, hate to disappoint you

Gonna be honest, I lost interest in this. Mainly because its impossible to accomplish what I want with it due to the lack of proper dialogue. And the creation kit is a buggy unusable mess

Spark I located your mod on Nexus but you say there it's broke too....there was another mod by the same name ( different Author.....Bruc01 I think) It wasnt exactly working ( I only got to kill Bryn) but I completeed the rest of the quests in town and my character isnt a thief ( I HATE that questline.....ASSASINS TOO) could you tell me where the workinng ome you made is or upload it here? TY

Oh and there is a mod where you can SELL those blasted piece of trash stones
