Ceres Fauna

 

It adds HololiveEN Vtuber, Ceres Fauna in DST.
A "pacifist" nature-friendly character, mainly interacts with plants and trees.






There is a huge config file enjoy it how you like it!

Some harmless animals and insects, trust Fauna and do not run away from her.
Birds still fly away when she comes closer to them (can be set to not fly away in settings).

Treants and Treeguards will help Fauna fight enemies.
Most, if not all plant related creatures won't attack her and unless she provokes them.

She also doesn't lose sanity while close to treeguard, poison birchnut tree.

Fauna can trim the tree back to its smallest size, extracting their drops.
She can use trim action as long as she doesn't hold torch or axe.

It gives lower drops than cutting and uses small amounts of hunger.

Fauna can also trim poison birchnut tree, which turns it back to normal birchnut tree.

Not all trees can be trimmed, such as burnt trees and Knobbly trees.

A gift from the nature.
The Golden Apple can be used in two ways.
1. Treant Transformation: Turns evergreen tree into a treant.
2. Farm Boosting: Take care and improve crops nearby when deploy

Only Fauna can use it.
She also can hold it without equipping it.



Recipe

• Regular (The default recipe)
   x 1  x 5  x 5

A guardian of nature. Can be transformed from either an evergreen tree or a lumpy evergreen tree.
Similar, but have different behaviors from a regular Treeguard.

[Same as Treeguard]
~ Status, depends on the size of tree they transformed from, the larger the stronger
~ Deal half of default damage against player
~ Sleep at night

[Behaviors]
+ Has a passive HP regen.
+ Wandering around trees and will move to one when none is nearby.
+ When any Fauna engages in combat nearby, they will help her taking out enemies.
+ Doesn't drain nearby player's sanity.
+ They will attack any hostile mob near them.
+ Players can sleep near them.

[Downsides]
- They won't follow Fauna
- They will attack anyone except Fauna, who are chopping trees nearby.
- They will help nearby Treant when someone attacks any of them.





When deploys Golden Apple on the ground, it supports the cultivation of nearby crops for 35 days in game.
ONE TIME USE ONLY BE CAREFUL!

[Effects]
+ Tend and water crops for you.
+ Reduce the time crops, trees, bushes needed to grow, once a day.
+ Prevents unharvested crops from rotting.
+ Rejuvenates unharvested crops that rotted.
+ Illuminates, so crops can grow at night.





Equip the glove and right click on a player to slap and sending them flying.
Slapping won't send people into the water or over obstacles.
It has a low durability, but it is cheap to make.
Anyone can use it.

Fauna loses moderate amount of sanity when killing animals, which could not fight back.
No sanity penalty when killing insects.

Fauna also loses sanity every second she is chopping tree and stays nearby any stump or a burnt tree.



Fauna can only eat vegetable-type foods, the same as Wurt.
