Delta Force 2 Graphics Guide
Von TehSpoopyKitteh
This is a guide to get higher resolutions than 1024x768 in game....and a general enhancement guide. The settings require the use of dgVoodoo2. Wrapping the DirectX 6 calls to an emulated GeForce 4 4400Ti is required because the GeForce 4 series GPU was mentioned on Novalogic's list of recommended video cards on its website for Delta Force 2's troubleshooting page...It also brings out the best look of the game as the developers intended.

What to do FIRST
In order for this to work properly, you will need to set the in game resolution to 1024x768 in Software mode.

1. Open the Delta Force 2 installation folder in the "steamapps/common"

2. Open "df2.cfg" using a text editor.

3. Under the "//DISPLAY" section at the top, set the following as follows:
video_type = 1 game_res = 6

Installing and Configuring dgVoodoo2
This is a tad bit more complex but easier to manage once you get the hang of it.

1. Download The latest version from here:
https://github.com/dege-diosg/dgVoodoo2/releases

2. Extract the contents to any folder you wish and run it. Optionally, Right/Alt-Click and run it as Administrator.

3. In the dgVoodoo2 control panel click on a button on the top that says "Add".

4. Navigate to your Delta Force 2 installation folder for Steam, and click on "Select Folder".

5. Make sure the Deltas Force 2 folder is selected folder as shown (first image ...mine is on external storage, drive letter and Steam Library may differ)

6. Click on the DirectX tab and use the following configuration. You can use the Antialiasing, forced filtering, and forced resolution options as you like. Click "Apply" and run the game. (second screenshot).

6a. You can use any resolution, forced filtering, and antialiasing settings you like, just it looks best in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Anything higher than 1280x960 I recommend.

If you have any trouble after this, copy “D3Dlmm.dll” and “DDraw.dll” from the DGVoodoo 2 MS folder into the game directory. Then configure DGVooDoo2 again.

If you are getting graphics glitches, make sure you aren’t using Hardware mode in game…

For those having troube with high mouse sensitivity:
In dgvoodoo control panel, right click on the dgVoodoo logo at the top then click "Show all sections of the configuration"
Now switch to "GeneralExt" tab and at the bottom check "Free mouse", you can also force the game to be borderless in this tab if you want.
If your mouse sensitvity is still a bit too high adjust ingame sensitivty and mouse dpi.

You’ll probably need to make file extensions visible on Windows to find the config file.

I feel kinda dumb but i looked everywhere thrice and even looked every single file slowly 1 by 1 and i just don't have a df2.cfg or any cfg file at all, also the highest resolution i can select ingame is 600x800
I am so confused, what am i missing? ^^;;

It works, but for some reason the mouse sens in game is way too high now for whatever reason. Is there a fix for this?"

Disable Steam Input for the game....run the game in WindowsXP Service Pack 3 compatibility mode.

Same here, dgvoodoo isn't applying correctly.
