Like Dreamer Player's Guide
By NeoStrayCat
Welcome to Like Dreamer, the STG game where its basically STG Social Media, and that the highest liked/followed user becomes "Queen". 3 specific users were jealous and tried to scold her, but the Queen and the others were angered and attacked them. From there, the 3 are going to fight back and claim the title of "Queen".

Anyways, the game plays similarly to CosmoDreamer and of most of the main Touhou games as reference, but with a twist. This guide will show you how to check your settings, unlock and play the various gameplay modes, and how to get everything in the Gallery. Along with a few Q/A and tips here and there.

-Help Mode: Depending on the number set from 1 through 5, destroying an Item Carrier in the beginning of each stage will give you that many lives. "Auto" is most likely set depending on the stage. Be aware that using this will not save your statistics for best score and clear times and that you will have a heart right next to the difficulty denoting on that clear. If you want that star for the clear, set it to "Off".

Video Config:
Settings such as changing the window display, FPS, V-Sync, and for elements of the UI, can be done here.

However, the difficulty will be selectable first in "Game Start" (Main/Story Mode), clear all stages (Stage 9 optional) to have the difficulty selectable in Trial Mode. (Nightmare difficulty will be unlocked in the order of the modes in Trial cleared on that difficulty first. Trial Tour -> Boss Rush -> All Stage Tour -> Speedrun)

Chaos Difficulty:
Similar to "Nightmare Difficulty" requirements, but clear Trial Tour on Nightmare.

Data Window:
Clear Trial Tour once with any character/difficulty. Data Window displays game information at the bottom left corner.

The display "Hidden Stage OK!" will appear in any of the Trial modes except in Speedrun. The number of times "Being Shot" which is necessary in order to play Stage 9 on the information listed below on how to unlock it. If it exceeds it, the display will fade and you will not be able to play Stage 9 and the game will end on Stage 8 after defeating the boss.

Unlocking Stage 9:
Trial Tour must be unlocked first, then play Trial Tour once with any character/difficulty. Once you reach the Stage 8 boss Melona and all her lifebars are gone, make sure that the number of times "Being Shot" (taking a hit), does not exceed the listed below throughout the entire game depending on the "Style" selected. (Updated to reflect ver. 2.0 changes.)

Q/A and Tips
Q: Getting a "Perfect Fight Bonus" if you used a bomb?
A: If you use your bomb right before the boss goes into the next attack phase and not while vulnerable, and before the boss timer starts, you can get this bonus without getting a penalty of getting "Beautiful Fight Bonus", just time it about 1-2 seconds into their next attack phase. Be aware that you only can have up to 3 max stocks of Mental Lv. (Bomb), so use carefully. (This also works in CosmoDreamer.)

Q: A specific boss has a shield, how do I get around that?
A: The boss on Stage 8's last life (if you haven't triggered the unlock condition for Stage 9, or if you are playing the main mode or speedrun) will shield itself if you use a bomb or style. Same with Stage 9's boss's last two lives will have her shielded. This is usually a trait to TLB's in CAVE games (or others) that have a shield if you use a bomb.

Yeah, I'm gonna add those in, its been a while since I haven't been on this game, since other STG's (and other games) have since taken my time to get back into.

Good starting guide. You may want to point out the hidden extends as well. I know of three, but I have a discussion going trying to see if anyone knows of more. Might be worth checking there from time to time to see if any more get discovered
