Casino Night
Complete the Casino

Go through the gauntlet of mini-bosses and defeat King Dice in the Casino in Inkwell Hell.

The overall easiest route in my opinion is [2 -> Safe -> 4 -> Safe -> 8 -> Safe -> Fin], where you fight Chips Bettigan (Chips), Pip and Dot (Dominoes) and Mangosteen (8-ball), then, of course, King Dice himself.

Selling out
Give in to the Devil

Complete the 'bad ending' by giving the soul contracts to the Devil at the end of the game.

Swing you sinner
Defeat the Devil

At the end of the game, when given the option to hand over the soul contracts, select the option to keep them, this will initiate the final boss fight.

Souls Saved
Complete the game on Normal

Beat every single boss in the main game on Normal (Regular) difficulty.
Parry Achievements

Parry Persistence
Complete 20 parries.

Parry Performance
Complete 100 parries.

Those achievements will be unlocked naturally while playing the game. If, however, you want to farm for those, the best spot to do so is in the tutorial, during the parry section, because the parryable dots refresh themselves, allowing you to get infinite parries.

Bouncing ball
Parry five times before hitting the ground.

There are a few situations in which unlocking this achievement is feasible:

1 - In the Mausoleums: while defending the urn against hordes of parryable ghosts. The final Mausoleum is the most optimal for this, as there are more ghosts in general, as well as larger ghosts that turn into smaller ones once parried.

2 - During the King Dice fight: in the final phase, while fighting King Dice himself, parry the pink cards as many times as you can before hitting the ground. you can parry each card multiple times, so it shouldn't be difficult.

3 - In the Funfair Fever Run 'n' Gun level (Isle II): in the very beginning of the level, there'll be a pink balloon, which can be parried indefinitely. Just jump and parry the balloon while moving in the same direction as it.

4 - During the Rumor Honeybottoms fight: in the second phase of the fight, there's a chance the boss summons a pink parryable sphere, which can be parried indefinitely. This method can be a bit harder to use, as you might land on one of the platforms before getting the 5 consecutive parries.

Coin and Shop Achievements

Coffers Full
Get every coin in all of the levels.

Every Run 'n' Gun level has 5 coins to be collected, spread evenly throughout the level's layout. The coins are usually right in the player's path, making it really easy to collect them all. Note that if you die in the level you'll have to collect the coins again. In total, 30 coins can be found in the Run 'n' Gun levels.

High Roller
Get every coin in the game.

There are a total of 40 coins in the base game, 10 of which are secret coins, while the remaining 30 can be found in the Run 'n' Gun levels.

The coins are spread throughout the isles like so:

Inkwell Isle I:
  • 1 coin at the end of the tutorial
  • 3 coins from talking to Mac (apple NPC)
  • 5 coins in Forest Follies
  • 5 coins in Treetop Trouble
  • 1 coin found behind Chip (axe NPC), after beating every boss in Isle I

Inkwell Isle II:
  • 1 coin from Buster (juggler NPC), after getting 4 parries before hitting the ground
  • 1 coin from Ginger (gingerbread NPC), after going through the secret passage in Isle II
  • 5 coins in Funfair Fever
  • 5 coins in Funhouse Frazzle
  • 1 coin found behind the green cabin near the Funhouse Frazzle Run n' Gun level. [Corrected]

Inkwell Isle III:
  • 5 coins from Rugged Ridge
  • 5 coins from Perilous Piers
  • 1 coin found behind a ticket booth, which is behind Porkrind's shop

Inkwell Hell:
  • 1 coin found behind the outside portion of the left wall that leads to the casino

The following images have been taken from the Cuphead wiki and edited. Secret coins and relevant NPCs are circled, arrows indicate shortcuts.

Butter-and-Egg Man
Buy everything in Porkrind's shop

Purchase every single item from Porkrind's shop in the base game, those are:

Weapons:
  • Spread - 4 coins
  • Chaser - 4 coins
  • Lobber - 4 coins
  • Charge - 4 coins
  • Roundabout - 4 coins

Charms:
  • Heart - 3 coins
  • Smoke Bomb - 3 coins
  • P. Sugar - 3 coins
  • Coffee - 3 coins
  • Whetstone - 3 coins
  • Twin Heart - 5 coins

You'll need 40 coins to purchase everything from the base game, which means all coins must be collected to clear Porkrind's shop.

Note: DLC coins can be used to purchase main-game items as well.
P-Ranks Achievement

Pacifist
Complete all levels without killing an enemy

Achieve a P-Rank in every Run 'n' Gun level by getting to the end without killing any enemies. The P-Rank will be nullified if you kill any enemy with normal attacks, extra special moves or super arts.

General Tips:
  • Make sure to use all movement abilities at your disposal, since you cannot kill enemies, timing your jumps and dashes to avoid them is critical.
  • The levels in Isles I and II each have a type of mini-boss at the end, the trick to getting past those usually involves taking intentional damage and using invincibility frames to get past them, or farming parries and using the invincibility super art.
  • The Smoke Bomb charm is extremely useful, as it allows you to phase through enemies and overall just avoid damage.
Note: Parryable enemies do not count as kills, this means they don't invalidate the achievement.

The following Youtube video by @packattack04082 shows how to get P-Ranks on all levels.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZbacxxNUBA

Strategy used against every Run 'n Gun notable enemy:

Forest Follies:
  • Acorn Maker: on the area right before the mini-boss, wait for a parryable attack from one of the mushroom enemies, follow the attack and parry it as it's moving above the mini-boss, then dash past it.

Treetop Trouble:
  • Dragonfly: Either drop down and dash underneath the mini-boss or jump and dash above it.

Funfair Fever:
  • Robot Monkeys and Cannon Walls: Either jump above them or use the Smoke Bomb dash to go through them.
  • Shooting Range: Dash through it with the Smoke Bomb.
  • Hot Dog: Wait until the platform goes up, then jump and dash past it.

Funhouse Frazzle:
  • Two-Mouthed Walls: Wait until one of the mouths open, the quickly dash through it to avoid enemies coming through.

Rugged Ridge:
  • Gate Faces: Parry the faces when they're at their highest point in the gates, then dash past them.

Perilous Piers:
  • No particular enemies worth taking note of.
All A- Ranks Achievements (Main Game)

Sheriff
Obtain an A- Rank or higher on all bosses in Inkwell Isle I

Boss
Obtain an A- Rank or higher on all bosses in Inkwell Isle II

Mayor
Obtain an A- Rank or higher on all bosses in Inkwell Isle III

King
Obtain an A- Rank or higher on all bosses in Inkwell Hell

Achieve rank A-, A, A+ or S on every single boss in the main game.

The following factors will define your Rank:

  • Difficulty: the boss must be fought on Normal (Regular) or Expert difficulty. Simple difficulty is not allowed, since it limits your maximum rank to B+

  • Time Limit: you must defeat the boss within a specific time. There's little variance between the bosses, with the time limit being around 2 minutes and 10 seconds, or 130 seconds. King Dice is a special case, where the time limit is increased by about 30 seconds for every mini-boss you fight.

  • Parries: you must parry 3 attacks throughout each fight.

  • Super Meter: you must use your special attacks 6 times throughout the fight. Super Arts count as 5 uses.

  • HP: you must have at least 3 HP remaining at the end of a fight for maximum score on this item. This means you can use items that increase your max HP and even play as Ms. Chalice.

Note: the most difficult criteria to meet for those achievements will be not taking damage and getting the 3 parries.

General Tips:
  • Chaser is not a good weapon for this, as it deals decreased damage. Even though it'll make it easier for you to focus on dodging, you'll take too long to beat the bosses and miss the time limit criteria.

  • Damage taken and parries have the same weight when calculating your rank. This means that missing a parry will reduce your rank by the same amount as getting hit once.

  • If all other criteria is met, you can still get A- Rank if you either get hit twice, miss 2 parries or miss 1 parry and get hit once.

  • In most boss fights, parry opportunities are heavily limited.

Note that only pink attacks can be parried. Here's a list of every single parryable attack that counts towards your ranking:
  • Root Pack: Worms during phase 1 and tears during phase 2

  • Ribby and Croaks: Fire fists during phase 1

  • Goopy Le Grande: Question Marks above his head, during the transition from phase 1 to 2

  • Hilda Berg: Zeppeling Bullets during phase 1 and transitions between the constellation phases, Stars during phase 4.

  • Cagney Carnation: Seeds during phase 1 and Pollen Balls during phase 2

  • Baroness von Bon Bon: Jelly Bullies during the first 3 phases, shot Cotton Candy during phase 3 and the Peppermint during phase 4 (only 1 parry per peppermint).

  • Djimmi the Great: Cats, Swords or Treasure during phase 1 and puppet's Shots during phase 4

  • Beppi the Clown: Ducks during phase 1, Balloon Dogs and Cart's Nose during phase 2 and Horseshoes during phase 3 (green horse)

  • Wally Warbles: Birds during phase 1, Electricity Balls during phase 2 and Pills during phase 3

  • Grim Matchstick: Beam attacks during phase 1

  • Rumor Honeybottoms: Bomb Pieces during phase 1, Triangle's Projectiles during phase 2 and Sphere during phase 2 (1 parry per sphere).

  • Dr. Kahl's Robot: Laser Machine during phase 1 and Diamond Attacks during phase 3 (both blue and red)

  • Sally Stageplay: Kiss Heart during phase 1, Meteor Star during phase 3 and Audience Rose during phase 4

  • Werner Werman: Gum during phase 1 and Balls during phase 3

  • Captain Brineybeard: Octopus Projectiles during phases 1 and 2, Pink Laser during phase 3

  • Cala Maria: Red Fish Projectiles and Pufferfish during phase 1

  • Phantom Express: Pumpkimps' Pink Bars during the first 3 phases and Locomotive Tail during phase 4

  • King Dice: parries must be gotten in the mini-bosses fights, as the dice from the mini-game and cards from King Dice himself don't count. With that in mind, the parry opportunities here are: Dice from Pip and Dot (mini-boss 4), Pink Hearts from Hopus Pocus (mini-boss 5), Horseshoes from Phear Lap (mini-boss 6).

  • Devil: Orbs, Wisps, Fireballs and Bubbles during phase 1, Bat Bomb during phase 2, Skull during phase 3 and Tears during phase 4
Miscellaneous Challenges Achievements (Main-game)

Cutting Corners
Find a shortcut

There is one shortcut on every isle:
  • Isle I: To the right of Goopy Le Grande's level, under the airplane tutorial.
  • Isle II: Behind the Wally Warbles level, through the back area of the mountains.
  • Isle III: Through the back of the junkyard where the Dr. Kahl's Robot fight is.

Perfect Run
Complete a level without getting hit

This achievement can actually be unlocked in any boss fight. Naturally, the easiest ones to get this achievement on are The Root Pack and Goopy Le Grande. Just beat a boss without taking any damage.

Ceramic Strike
Defeat a boss with an extra special move

As you deal damage to bosses, your special meter will go up. Once you have a whole 'card', you can use it to unleash the special move of the weapon currently equipped. Defeat a boss using this special ability to unlock this achievement. The killing blow must be from a special move.

Note 1: This can be done on simple difficulty against any boss, even the mini-bosses from the King Dice fight.

Note 2: The airplane special moves count for this achievement as well.

Porcelain Power
Defeat a boss with a Super Art

Super arts must be unlocked in the Mausoleums. To use a super art, have all 5 special move 'cards' at the same time and use the special move. Defeat a boss with a super art to unlock this achievement. The killing blow must be from a super art.

Note 1: This can be done on simple difficulty against any boss, even the mini-bosses from the King Dice fight.

Note 2: The airplane Super Art counts for this achievement as well.

Note 3: The Invincibility Super Art does not count for this achievement, as it doesn't deal any damage.

Magician Lord
Obtain all Super Arts

Super Arts are unlocked upon completing the Mausoleums, each one unlocking a different Super Art. There are a total of 3 Mausoleums to complete, each in one of the isles.
  • Mausoleum I - Energy Beam Super Art
  • Mausoleum II - Invincibility Super Art
  • Mausoleum III - Giant Ghost Super Art

Bravo Zulu P-26
Defeat a boss using only the mini-plane bullets

This achievement can be unlocked by defeating one of King Dice's mini-bosses. The easiest one to get this on is Mr. Chimes (the monkey), since the amount of dodging you have to do in this fight is minimal. Mr. Chimes is number 9 on the King Dice fight. As soon as the fight starts, switch to mini-plane mode, and defeat him using bullets from this form only, no extra special moves allowed.

Rolling Sixes
Defeat King Dice without taking a hit

Get through the entire King Dice boss fight, including the mini-bosses, without taking any damage. The route mentioned previously should still be the easiest one (fighting mini-bosses 4 and 8). The hardest portion of this route is fighting King Dice himself, keep in mind that you can take your time with the fight, your objective is to not get hit, so patience is key.

Put On a Show
Get an S-Rank

To be able to achieve an S rank on a boss, you must first have beaten the game, in order to unlock expert difficulty. During the fight, the following criteria must be met:
  • Beat the boss within a specific time limit (varied)
  • Beat the boss with 3 HP or more at the end of the fight
  • Parry 3 attacks throughout the fight
  • Use extra attack moves 6 times in total (Super Art counts as 5 uses)
  • The fight must be in expert difficulty, otherwise the highest achievable rank will be A+
The easiest bosses to do this on are The Root Pack and Goopy Le Grande, because of their extremely predictable attack patterns and parry opportunities.

Beat The Devil at His Own Game
Complete the game on Expert

Expert difficulty is available once you beat the game for the first time. Just beat every single boss again, but on expert difficulty, to unlock this achievement. The main changes in expert difficulty include:
  • Bosses have more HP
  • Boss attacks generally include more projectiles
  • Most projectiles move faster

Note 1: Run 'n' Gun levels are not required, as they don't have an expert difficulty variant.

Note 2: As you've already unlocked all bosses, you can beat them on any order you want.

All A- Ranks Achievement (DLC)

Ranger
Obtain an A- Rank or higher on all bosses in Inkwell Isle IV

Achieve rank A-, A, A+ or S on every single boss in the DLC, except the Angel and Demon.

Crackshot, however, is possibly one of the most powerful weapons you can use.
  • If you're playing with Ms. Chalice, you can get hit three times and still get an A- Rank, or even get hit twice and miss 1 parry.
  • In most boss fights, parry opportunities are heavily limited.

Note that only pink attacks can be parried. Here's a list of every single parryable attack that counts towards your ranking:

  • Moonshine Mob: Pesticide Clouds during phase 1, Barrels during phase 2, the Tongue during phase 3 and Soundwaves during phase 4

  • Esther Winchester: Cactus Balls during phase 1, Coins and Dollar Bills during phase 2, Steaks during phase 3 and Peppers during phase 4.

  • The Howling Aces: Bones during phase 1, Letters during phase 2 and Pink Laser during phase 3

  • Mortimer Freeze: Cards during phase 1, Flying Popsicles during phase 2 and Buckets during phase 3.

  • Glumstone the Giant: Clouds during phase 1, Pink Gnomes during phase 2 and Darts during phase 3.

  • Chef Saltbaker: Sugar Cubes during phase 1 and Peppercorns during phase 2.
Miscellaneous Challenges Achievements (DLC)

A King's Admiration
Defeat the king's gauntlet

After having defeated every single one of the King of Games' champions, talk to the king and select "The Gauntlet". This will initiate a boss rush against the Pawns, the Knight, the Bishop, the Rook and the Queen. Defeat all 5 bosses without dying to unlock this achievement. Note that after you beat one of those bosses, you'll start the next fight with full HP.

Note: you must select the gauntlet before fighting the bosses. Choosing each boss individually in the king's menu will not count for this achievement.

The Golden Touch
Defeat a boss with one of Ms. Chalice's Super Arts

Land the final blow on a boss with one of Ms. Chalice's Super Arts. Naturally, bosses like the Root Pack are best for this, as if you accidentally kill it without the super art, you can easily try again.

Note: the Shield Pal Super Art doesn't count for this achievement, as it doesn't deal any damage.

Decadent
Defeat 10 bosses with Ms. Chalice

Defeat any 10 bosses while playing as the DLC character Ms. Chalice. Just pick whichever bosses are the easiest for you.

The High Hat
Defeat a boss on Inkwell Isle IV without killing any of its minions

The absolute easiest boss to do this on is Esther Winchester, as minions are only present during the first phase. In this case, you should look out for the flying ponies that shoot cactus balls. This can even be done on Simple difficulty to skip a phase.

Hearty
Have 9 HP at one time

Do the following:
  • Equip the Twin Hearts charm
  • While on the map, spin in place three times to receive the genie's wishes
  • Start any bossfight
  • Start the King Dice fight, you'll be at 9HP
  • Fight a mini-boss and take exactly one damage
  • Land on a spot that gives you 1 HP back

Huge thanks to @Starchu over on AStats for their guide on this achievement.

CONFIRMED:
Some players have reported the achievement being unlocked by following the steps and then just starting the King Dice fight, instead of actually having to take damage.

Cooked to Perfection
Get an S-Rank on a stage of Inkwell Isle IV

After completing the DLC, you'll unlock expert difficulty for the Isle IV bosses. To achieve the S-Rank:
  • Beat the boss within a specific time limit (varied)
  • Beat the boss without taking any damage
  • Parry 3 attacks throughout the fight
  • Use extra attack moves 6 times in total (Super Art counts as 5 uses)
  • The fight must be in expert difficulty, otherwise the highest achievable rank will be A+

In my opinion, the easiest DLC boss to get an S-Rank on is the Howling Aces, as their attacks are relatively easy to dodge because of a smaller amount of projectiles.

Paladin
Obtain great power

After defeating the secret boss in the DLC, your Broken Relic will turn into the Cursed Relic. While equipped, this charm adds the following effects onto you:
  • HP reduced to 1
  • Parrying gives you HP, amount of parries depends on how many bosses have been defeated while the Cursed Relic is equipped
  • Your weapon is randomized every time you start shooting

To unlock this achievement, you must turn the Cursed Relic into the Divine Relic. This is done by defeating bosses in Regular or Expert difficulties with the Cursed Relic equipped.

Each boss defeated with this charm equipped will give you a specific amount of "boss points". You need 16 total "boss points" to unlock the achievement. The pattern for the amount of points received from each boss is as follows:
  • Inkwell Isle I Boss: 2 points
  • Inkwell Isle II Boss: 2.5 points
  • Inkwell Isle III Boss: 3 points
  • Inkwell Isle IV Boss: 3 points
  • King Dice: 1 point
  • The Devil: 4 points
  • Chef Saltbaker: 4 points
For comparison purposes, those are the bosses I defeated for this achievement:
  • The Root Pack
  • Goopy Le Grande
  • Ribby and Croaks
  • Hilda Berg
  • Cagney Carnation
  • Werner Werman
  • Phantom Express
Thank You!
Thanks for checking out my guide! I hope it helped you in some way!

Interestingly enough, for the rolling sixes achievement, it isn't actually no damage. I did it as Ms. Chalice (easier dice rolls honestly) with super II on, and besides activating and losing my super several times, I also took one hit of actual damage at some point. I did end with 3 health tho, and got the achievement. I'm just not sure whether it was because I still had 3 health left at the end, or if I didn't take any actual health damage during the King Dice phase (since I don't remember when I took the actual damage either).
