Fastest way to level up Stealth.

This guide will teach you how to reach 80 Stealth in under 5 minutes from the very start of the game at best, possibly with an entire squad or a solo character and can go over to level 100 stealth although it's unnecessary and possibly painfull.

Setup and Locations

In this part i will discuss about what you need to do it and where you need to go.

First of all this trick will take place in the Deadlands which is pretty close to most spawn areas and therefore really accessible to anyone but most importanly to the hub which is usually the main spawn point for beginners.

You need to reach the Lost Armoury to start the whole process which is the location you can see on the map on right side of it.


But first make sure every character is protected from acid rain With Dustcoats which you can purchase in Flat lagoons for instance which is one of the closest area from here where you can buy them and also don't forget to buy hats with them that give at least 20% Acid Rain protection as well; Only Dustcoats work for this as they give 80% rain protection + hats give 100% protection no other armor reach those values aside Longcoats but they have only 70% protection which force you to find better hats anyways.
You don't need this extra step of preparation if your single character or entire squad are Hivers or Skeletons.

Execution and explanation of the trick

Now that you are in the front of the armory you must be aware of one 1 thing, there is 15 Robot spider inside as well as occasionally roaming spiders around so you must be prepared in consequence if you have a whole squad, make sure it is far away but not too far from the entrance and send your best sprinter to open the door, do not enter in Stealth yet, enter with your single character preferably on the right side of the door so you have a better windows to avoid the spider that will inevitably guard the right side of the door then lure as many spider out as you want/can as the more there is spiders the faster your stealth stat will level up fast upt to 15 spiders can get out, but you only need 7 of them if you want to comfortably level up to 80 Stealth in a matter of 3 minutes on average maybe less like i had tested with my Solo Hiver character.

Now that Spiders are out you must know certain things about their AI first since it's kind of clunky but somewhat conveniant for this training as they tend to drop aggro early but even if you manage to Stealth behind them some time after you lured then hid they will immediatly attack you sometimes so be patient and experiment a bit with saves as it seems to reset their state when you save and quiclky reload after, you can also lure them near water on the right side the entrance of the Armory and they tend to stop chasing you when you are close enough to it, which you can use to lure them in a certain angle so you can farm stealth while farming swimming like this :

Of course you should probably stick to the more regular method to farm them and land behind them like so or while hiding behind a hill if you prefer :

As for what kind of movement i did is i ran in circle or from left to right but do it as close as possible from them for bigger gains.

Levelling to 80 Stealth and beyond.

As you can imagine if that farming method wasn't like the best ever thing i found considering levelling stealth i wouldn't have bothered writing this guide in the first place as i can't find something documented anywhere close to this, but there is still obvious issues considering it, while it does the job insanely fast for the 80 first levels at an unmatched pace, this will also exponentially slow down as the grind goes past this point, the next 90 levels aren't exactly painfull but you notice some slowness... up until it kind of start to feel tedious until 99 where it still mostly surprisingly bearable compared to other stats grinds in Kenshi but like, you went from going from 1 to 80 in like what 3 minutes to 80 to say 95ish in 25 minutes or more, where it starts to really suck is when you hit 96% progress at level 99 where the bars just doesn't seem to budge at all, but i estimate you need around 5 ingame days to reach 100 though i couldn't test this because i don't have the patience to.

Also this is the part where i recommend the average casual player to stop at 80 or 85 Stealth and use ninja rags to reach 100 stealth with your squad or just use a swamp mask with your Dustcoats actually you probably won't need more than the Dustcoats at all.

Small update: The part where you reach 100 is actually completely irrelevant considering 100 Stealth and beyond is actually broken and seemed to be capped at 99 and 96% exp on purpose though i imagine with modded kenshi or using very extended exploits by abusing sneaking debuffs and starvation of your character, as well as finding a very crowded area you can sneak into, you could reach 100 but i strongly advise against it as it is detrimental.

Tips, Suggestions and Personnal Notes

That's the part where i tell you to experiment with this if you want, you could make an entire enclosure for the spiders so they can't get away, i haven't done myself because i play solo characters mostly.

You can't really use scripts to move your characters like that in the wild because a single wandering spider could wipe them while you're not watching so an enclosure like i've said earlier could do the trick, you could also knock them all out and put them in skeletons beds, but if you can afford to do this there is probs better characters to kidnap to train stealth i am not sure, this method is immediatly available no matter what though.

Also what's cool with a stealth squad is well... Stealth i guess or the fact they are all Naruto running, you could reproduce the whole Hidden Leaf Village of Konoha if you wanted.

The fastest and easiest way I know of to level stealth is the library behind Rebirth. There is an army of blood spiders in the ruin, with a cliff right above the ruin you can run along in complete safety while being in sight range of all the spiders. Just sneak along the edge of the ledge and you will level incredibly fast with no risk. If there aren't any spiders (happens sometimes) import to respawn them. I usually do this as part of a rebirth slave start, but you can also get there via Wend just to level stealth.

Just get captured in the holy mines, can learn lock picking real quick, stealth KO people in cages and holy sentinels at night in beds and run around inside buildings inventory full of shackles and carry a victim for str exp all while getting mad stealth xp from prisoners in cages
