Fishing Tips

Once you build the museum and donate enough fish/bugs/critters it will unlock the ability to purchase the fish and bug book. This will allow you to identify fish in the water by equipping the book to the toolbar and holding down left click.


If you are looking to make some money on fishing I would recommend fishing barracudas in the north seas at night 3 seasons a year. They are easy to identify since they are a long skinny fish and sell for 16,000 dinks each.

If you are hunting Marlins I have caught most of mine near the edge of the map out in open water. Tuna's I usually find closer to the shore.

The base price for the Marlin is 20,200 dinks, and I think the Tuna is 24,600 or really close to that. For time of day, I believe Morning: 7am-11:59am/Day: 12:00pm - 5:59pm/Night: 6:00pm and after.

PS : Wasn't able to buy the book with 5 hearts with Theodor.
I had to have more donations to the museum first (Around 45 counting both bugs and fishes 60 if you inslude critters).
