I had previously just zerged things until I ran out of parts while keeping a defensive unit back at my base. The concept of exploring with a solo creature never occurred to me. I still have a few wanderers just to hopefully speed things up since all I really have left to do was finish upgrading my stuff for the save with gold (Didn't realize it would autocomplete the game, I wanted to full explore the map, oh well).
So yeah, is it still the perfect guide? Maybe not, but it's still pretty darn good!
but im here to say that i kinda found same result as you i made 14 terminators with (unholy book and brain and staff) defending my base while sending an unholy angel to raze bases , since the AI is really stupid i never did speed upgrade instead put all of my resources on armour / dmg / regen / vision in that order
also my unholy angel version is slightly different i used 2 bat wings for +30 speed but since it was squishy i always controled it myself
It is the fastest monster unalive
