As this game have many choices I will play 4 games at once with two saves per game.
So it will take some time to keep those routes on the same progression.

If you notice I mention a list somewhere, this list is still a work in progress and will be downloadable once done.

Chapter I - Tides of Sand & Intro
Controls
Note that you first have to disable Fullscreen to toggle the resolution for a bigger window.
Window mode is easier for looking into the guide.
ALT-key will PAUSE the game.
In case your keyboard is acting weird (like only the ALT key is working), reboot your PC (a known bug of those maker games).

Balandor - Intro
Once you have control of Duran (no menu), talk to the NPCs and use the teleporter.

Habon - Intro
Find a Magic Jelly in the small drawer and read all the books in the library (even the one blocked by the NPC, so try from the side).
Go upstairs and read the other books before you talk to the Grand Mage to unlock the "Bookworm" Achievement once you head downstairs again.
Leave the library.

Head north and talk to the old mage to proceed.
Talking to NPCs or investigating everything is recommended or you might miss something.
Enter the last house.

Boss Mage Slayer: Duran only has some fire dealing no damage and healing spells. His time spells are not really helpful, but the Mage Slayer wants to see them.
You cannot win.

Fion Forest
Items (map 1): 25 Gold, Potion x2, Magic Shield, Antidote
Items (cave 1): Bread, 200 Gold
Mobs: Ice Slime, Feral Wolf

You have no access to the menu and saving.
Check the spot you are standing, read the sign, investigate the hare and sleeping NPC.
Defeat the monsters with your fire spell.
They will be listed into the Identify Book with all their possible drops.

Enter the cave and you can light two torches as darkness will affect your hit/evade chance.
After crossing the cave...

Boss Veteran Ice Wolf: best heal up and save before you attack it. If possible cast Haste and Candle Fire. Follow the hints to defeat it and unlock the Achievement "Who's the boss?"

Note: unique drops from bosses and other unique monsters have a 100% drop chance.

Items (map 2): 50 Gold
Items (cave 2): Book of Difficulity Adjustment

You cannot return.
Don't forget to enter the 2nd cave but wait with the difficulty adjustments until you have reached the next location.
Read the Riddle Note #1 and unlock "Riddler's Chest #1" to obtain Stimulant M & Magic Up and the Achievement.

Leave the cave and proceed.

Lumberjack Camp
Items: 100 Gold (behind tree near the red chest), 155 Gold (red chest), Potion (S house)

Stay away from the well for now!
You can reach the red chest when you investiate between the trees next to a bucket near the inn tent.

Resting at the inn tent will cost 20 Gold.
Talk to the NPC in the first hut multiple times and "Treephop" will join your party, unlock the same Achievement and the Job/Mastery and Karma Book submenu.
Talk to the NPC east of the inn tent to obtain the Ailments Tutorial.

Investigate the tombstone with Treephop in party to disturb a Ghost.
It can apply Sleep and only weak to holy. Defeat it to obtain better gear and unlock the Achievement "Ghost Hunters".

Talk to the NPCs with Treephop to start side quests (entries are noted down in the Karma Book) like "An Axe?".
Note that as long as you stay neutral for now you can find another party member soon.
In the SW house find Note #2 and the High Priest.

You can now return to the last map of the Fion Forest for (loot) grinding.
To the south of Lumberjack or via the well you will find the Silver Token Shop.

Lumberjack Well
Items: 20 Gold, Lumberjack Camp Return Scroll, Silver Token,
Mobs: Slime, Cave Bat

You need a light source to proceed deeper.

Path To Sohenta Gates
Items: 62 Gold, Potion

Read the inscription of the Gate about Ice and Fire.

Ice Valley

Ice Valley Well

Talk to the NPC in the Shrine, but you cannot proceed there.
Now you can learn fishing from the fishing NPC at the Lumberjack Camp for 1000 Gold.
You obtain Bamboo Rod and 10x Worm Bait and Sid will sell more Worm Bait.
Catch a Starfish and Jellyfish to obtain Sid's Fishing Approval and unlock the "Beginner Fisherman" Achievement.

Gwyndia Tunnel
Items (entrance): HP Potion (jar)

Boss Zulwhern: weak to fire and holy, resists ice but can counter and applies poison, sleep and stun. After some turn Hiban will help you as a guest. Even when he has a fire spell, he can attack multiple times. You might need Treephops Risky Punches to beat the boss and unlock the Achievement "Zulwhern?".

Touch the gate to enter the tunnel.

Jobs / Mastery / Instant Death
Conditions
You will unlock new Jobs at level 20 and new Masteries each 10 levels.

Job
A new job will begin at level 1 again and changing to it will unequip all gear except the item bags.
But you won't lose your EXP for the first job.

Mastery
Masteries not only will give bonuses or other gear, but sometimes even skills.
But those skills will only be active as long as that mastery is equiped.
If the mastery has an element attached like "Thunder Sword" then your basic attacks will have that attribute.
Keep that in mind when battling element resistant or immune enemies.

Each playable character (permament or guest) will get his/her own skill table later (see below).

Instant Death
Some bosses have instant death skills (or a dark spell hitting you extra hard or twice even on casual).
Currently only 2 characters will learn skills at the later jobs/levels that can avoid that but you can only get one of them.
Until then have a high magic evasion and luck!
Chapter I - Tides of Sand Part 2
Icywland West (or left)
Once you cross the bridge you know where you are.
Mobs: Snow Snake

Icywland Lake (left)
Talk to the Fisherman and present him your Fishing Approval.
Catch 2x Catfish to obtain the Fish Collection.

Note Karma Events: Before you enter the town or start Karma Events, make 4 different Save Slots!
Karma Events have a hidden timer (progression of the main story), so do them ASAP or ignore them.
Option 1: Ignore all Karma Events (when you return to those locations later, they can only be solved as neutral). You will earn an Achievement if you don't collect more than 4 of each Good/Bad/Neutral Karma Points until a certain event.
Option 2: Pure Good Karma Route
Option 3: Pure Neutral Karma Route
Option 4: Pure Bad Karma Route.

Note Levels: For each Job you can reach level 40.

Karma Event "Frozen": Lone Tree
Available until you solve the Deserted Tower F3.

The Fisherman (near the pond) will sell Frog Bait (Beginner Level).
There is an empty mechanism you cannot fill yet and the notes right next to it.
Follow the Clues to find 700 Gold (the other one is the one in the upper screenshots).
The password for "Riddler's Chest #2" is "sesame" and contains 1000 Gold.

The Abandoned Storage is locked and in the cave is the Fairy Shop.
A night in the inn costs 50 Gold.

Enter the house on the hill and talk multiple times to the NPC to obtain the Deserted Tower Key.

Icywland Well
Items: 5 Gold, Stimulant, Silver Token (climb up the rope to the SW to the Deserted Tower), Nature's Cloth (climb up the rope to the S), 310 Gold, Mix-Potion

Deserted Tower

Find the Prisoner on F2 and start the side quest "Prison Escape".
Pull the switch at the far west to reach the chest with 2x Magic Jelly and 840 Gold.
The rope to the next floor is to the SW.

Boss Ion: First defeat the 3x Scorpion. Without pause you have to fight the succubus. She is weak to ice and resists fire. Her attacks are either HP Drain, fire or thunder based but she can even apply poison, confusion and sleep. She drops the Shaman's Ring among others.

Step on the teleporter to leave.

Icywland
You still can buy items/weapons, fish and rest in the inn,
There is a stonewalk to the graveyard with another NPC.
All other houses are blocked or the citizens frozen.
Enter the Abandoned Storage and talk to the NPC
"Juliet" joins the party.

Head to the graveyard and talk to the NPC again.
  1. Give the ring.
    Boss Shion: weak to fire and wind. Defeat it and unlock the Achievement "Lover's End".
  2. Don't give the ring: you can still prepare, but you have to give him the ring to proceed.

The Abandoned Storage is locked again and you cannot enter the graveyard anymore.
Talk to Lulu to obtain 1500 Gold and Snowboard Shields.
Clue: Far west of Icdalen is a lighthouse, the Timeless Tower.
Outside take the letter.

You can learn Blizzard Punch for 2000 Gold from the Clown.
Another NPC need a Pearl and adds the side quests "Pearl Necklace".

Aaron has some new summons.
Challenge 2: Otherworldly Fire/Flame (weak to ice) you have to defeat an Otherworldy Slime/Mega Slime (weak to fire)
Challenge 3: Omni Element, no weakness. Your best bet is Risky Punches, a higher level or another party member. Unlocks the Achievement "Aaron't" (Treephop has to be in the party!).

Good Karma:
Talk to Esther (the frozen woman from the Lone Tree) and confirm to subjugate the Wolf's Den with her. You obtain 100 Arrows and begin the side quest "Wolves".
Gachapon Box
There are 26 items you can get from those boxes.
Later you can buy more with the Fountain Tokens obtained in your home.

  1. Be friends with the Rat during your Mage Slayer adventure (story).
  2. Defeat the first hunt and eat the Onigiri.
  3. Dainbum via teleporter in inn.
  4. Deep Sea after you have found the Aqua Jets and backtrack a bit.

  6. Find 3 in a chest of the Cursed Tower.
  7. Found in the Ice Queen Cave.

Karma Event: Lone Tree
If you have ignored it earlier, you will only gain +1 Neutral Karma.

Side Quest "Wolves": Wolf's Den
When you travel with Ester in the direction of Lumberjack, you will unlock that location.
You cannot return through the Gywndia Tunnels with her though.

Items: 500 Gold, 5x Watermelon
Mobs: Crystal Wolf, Crystal Sahagin, Crystal Slime

Inside investigate the camp.

The Dark Blue Crystal to the W teleports you to other crystals.
Touch the Dark Red Crystal there to reach 5x Root Juice.
Touch any Crystal to return to the entrance.
The Light Green Crystal to the NW teleports you to the Frost Berries.
One of the moving Dark Crystals will teleport you further.

Next touch the Light Red Crystal, take the Ice Bringer and touch the lower of the to Clear Crystals,

Take the Magic Bottle, 2x Full Potion and proceed to the next map.

Boss 2x Crystal Wolf Alpha: the bigger variant of the ones you have already fought. They have now weaknesses but can use AoE. You cannot rest!

Boss 2x Crystal Wolf Beta and Druid: get rid of the wolves ASAP! The Druid will buff his party. Save your TP for the Druid and silence him!

Gather Druid Clothes, Watermelon, Tomato, Magic Bottle and Druid Necklace before you return to Icywland.
There Ester will leave the party and unlock the Achievement "Hunt the Hunter!"

Ice Valley
You can now open the green chest containing a Luck Up.

A wrong answer will cost you 200 Gold.
Touch the mirror to first see a bull and then find a Pizza in the girls room (14 bunnies, 17 teddies).

Touch the Snowman...

Boss Snowy Man: weak to fire but slows the party down. After it's buff he can confuse its target.
You unlock the Achievement "Ho Ho! Oh No!"

Time to head east...

You take control over the Mage Slayer.
First enter the room to the north and talk to the Rat.
  1. Yes, I want to see it.
    1. I promise. --> it reveals a button.
    2. Are you nuts? --> you anger the rat and cannot buy anymore
  2. What shinies are you talking about? --> you cannot buy anymore
  3. It's a waste of time... --> you anger the rat and cannot buy anymore

Press the button and go outside to find the Gapachon Box.

Note Gapachon Box: That is a random Gacha Box containing either an Item, Armour, Weapon, Money or House Decoration. Best aim for the House Decorations.

Touch the Crystal.

Boss Hyun: Your best skill is missing, so collect TP with Inner Energy and then use the 9-hit-skill until the boss is defeated.

Teleport outside.

NW of Icysland
Mobs: Yellow Fox

The bridge to the east is broken, so go to the village you see (end of that episode).
Don't heal, the mobs won't damage you and you will regenerate between turns.

Note: The drop chance of Yellow Drop is very low, so best return here after you have found a certain item in chapter II.
Also the max item cap is 200 per item.

Oni Ice Tunnel
Items: Potion x2, 10 Gold, 210 Gold, Antidote, 2 Gold, 5 Gold, Stimulant
Mobs: Slimey Soldier

Boss Oni: weak to ice but resists fire and wind. Watch your HP when burning! Additional can he blind a target.
You unlock the Achievement "Lost in Translation".
Then first head back to Icywland to rest!!!

Boss ???: he flees.
Chapter I - Tides of Sand Part 4
NE of Icywland
Mobs: Icy Fox, Flaming Fox (behind bridge)

Long Wooden Bridge
Buy the Skill Burst for 3000 Gold from the Clown.
Step north right left of the clown to teleport to the Magic Water.

Pure Lake
To open the Pure Chest you need either 10 Good, Bad or Neutral Karma or more.

Glacia
Items: Ginseng Juice, 693 Gold

Talk to the NPC at the pond with the Glacia statue to start the side quest "Mother Glacia".

Igloo

Talk to the merchant about repairs and he sends you to the Workers Camp.

Karma Event "Spiders": Mining Cave
Find the sole survivor.
Last chance: before the bridge gets repaired (2nd igloo event)
  1. Yes. --> first talk to the other two workers and lastly to the survivor.

Worker's Camp

Get some clues in the inn/shop tent.
A night will cost you 90 Gold.

You can break the organ in tent 3.
Enter the final tent and Duran learns Holy Light.

Boss Zulwhern: weak to fire and holy. Near the end of the battle he will cast Holy Immune and Magic Reflect. Then focus on physical attacks.
You unlock the Achievement "Zulwhern, my old Pal" and obtain a Magic Water.

Talk to the freed workers in tent 5, 3 and 1 and even the night in the inn will get a discount to 60 Gold.

Mrs. Quiz House
With the Quiz Card No: 1 you can answer new questions.
  1. Geographic grids --> 1000 Gold
  2. Puncak Jaya, Indonesia --> Resist Up + Achievement "Quiz Time".

Igloo
Enter to proceed with a free rest.

Talk to the female smoker to start the side quest "Bluefire".

Fisher Challenge: Catch 12 different kind of fishes to obtain Fisherman's Ring, Fishing Lodge Key and Fishing Rank +1 and unlock the Achievement "Veteran Fisherman" (Fishing Rank =2).
The Fisher also sells both baits.
Use the Fishing Lodge Key at the Fairy Cave 2nd floor and gather Worm Bait x3, Frog Bait x4.
See "Fish Donation" for more.

Touch the Dragon to find 900 Gold and if you touch the ankor pole and stone monument, you will encounter the Hyenah with 5x Blood Changer.
They have no weakness but can drain your HP, so defeat the bats ASAP. Tiger Stance is very helpful against them. Once only the boss is left, boost one of your elements or debuff him.
You unlock the "Undead Slayer" Achievement.


Enter the docks and enter the password "another brick" into "Riddler's Chest #3" and obtain Stimulant L and Guard Up.

Talk to the shipwright.
  1. Oh... Well... Deal?
      I will gladly do that! --> You obtain the Ship Key.
    1. (Go back to his past) --> if you talk to the shipwright again the Mage Slayer will enter. --> "Super Early Bad Ending" Achievement.

Boss Diabolic Monster: You are possibly too weak. Wait until you are app. level 20 and have 5 party members. It has no weaknesses but fire protection is highly recommended as well as high AoE healing spells.

Behind the throne is a teleporter to the 1800 Gold at the entrance.

Talk to the King.

Boss Kulama: weak to physical and thunder attacks but resists holy and ice. Duran should cast Burst when he isn't using his time magic. The boss can confuse the whole party.

You will obtain the requested Energy Source and the Lighthouse Key.
Bring the Energy Cell to the Metallic Thing in the jail and Suan will join your party.
Defeat the Castle Guard and unlock the Achievement "Suan".

On Floor 1 you have to reach the northern wall west of the ladder, then slip to the east, south, west, north, east, south, east, north.

On Floor 2 reach the western wall.

On Floor 3 find the Note #9 and investigate the hole in the wall.
Here are no mobs so save and prepare.

On Floor 4 is the Mage Slayer.
Boss Mage Slayer: as he is fully immune to your attacks and spells except Burst you cannot win.

Duran learns Blinding Flash and you unlock the Achievement "Chapter II".
Underwater Adventure
Lumberjack Camp - Underwater

The mobs here are strong, so only proceed with 5 party members and level 25+.
Best wait until you have reached a certain EXP Grinding Point in Chapter III.
And no, the Blue Pearls are not enough for the "Pearl Necklace", but the Gold Clams are a great money well.
The Sharks are hiding in the inner caves!

In the east cave talk to the "Red Sea Monster" and find her husband.
You cannot reach the chest near that cave yet.
Next to that gate is another unreachable chest.
To reach the "Blue Sea Monster" you have to circle around in the cave getting behind the wife and then further south.
Reward: Flipper Bracelet (running underwater).

The NW cave leads to Aquana.
The NE cave has a guard.
You need to have spent 5 Silver Token (see below) to proceed.

Aquana

The shops have some unique items.
You start the side quest "The Leviathan".

On the top floor of the castle you will be introduced to the Eel Pedestals (gates).
2 in the castle, 3 in the east cave.
You need to activate them with the Silver Tokens.

A night in the inn costs 500 Gold.

Boss Sharkwise: it resists all elements and can cause whirlpool, ignite and soaked.
You unlock the Achievement "The Deep Sea".

Follow Sharkwise and listen to his warnings.

Deep Sea
Mobs: Thunderjelly, Poison Fish, Solidjelly, Windojelly

Best wait until you have found 5 more Silver Token.
The mobs will drop healing items or blue pearls but are stronger now.

First head east as you still cannot cross the gaps to the chests or paths.
If you follow the path further east and the south you will reach some stairs down.
ignore the east path for now and circle arount to find the Mini Broom, then head upstairs to the north to collect the Aqua Jets!

Now you can jump over the gaps underwater.

Jump to the north and investigate the bag.
Items (east, green orb): Sealight Bloom, Thunder Clothes, Tomato
Items (west): Red Snail Shell, Root Juice, Blue Snail Shell, Scissor Claws
Find the orbs and touch them.
Don't forget to put a Silver Token into the Eel Pedestral.

Return an before you explore further, backtrack and collect Gapachon Box &Full Potion (via the ignored stairs short cut), Gold Coin & Eel Pedestral (cave right to the west), Very Rusty Axe (on the way back to the map you found the Aqua Jets), Watery Berries & Anti Toxin Clothes (intersection of the Deep Sea), Chill Bandana & Heat Bandana (Aquana area).

There is even a jump at the entrance map with a Blue Pearl and an Eel Pedestral.

Return to the intersection of the Deep Sea and then enter the west cave first.
There is the next Eel Pedestral.

Enter the east cave last.
Find Gold Coin and put the last Silver Token on the altar.
Now the door should be open.

Abandoned Town
Items: Stimulant XXL

Procced throught the temple and unlock the "Sea of Nothingness" Achievement.

Sea of Nothingness
Items: Gold Coin (after Lamia), Icebrand, Sharp Edge (before Leviathan)

Best wait until you have the last 5 Silver Tokens.
Both corridors lead to another door but in this depth are no more mobs.
Prepare before you set the Silver Token on the altar.

Boss Lamia: weak to thunder but immune to water. No skills to learn and can cast Perma Haste.

Enter the door, circle around to the SW to reach the chest you have seen.
Proceed to the next altar (west after the yellow lanterns) and set the Silver Token.
Repeat at the 2 altars after the red lantern and the one at the green lanterns.
The altars in the next room should all have glowing orbs now.
If those orbs don't glow, you have missed an altar for the Silver Token.

Proceed.

Boss Tousan: no weakness and no skill to learn. He can make himself immune to basic physical attacks, so switch to defense penetrating skills. Remove HP Regen with Dispel and prepare for a strong attack. Then he will start to apply Doom, defeat him before the countdown end (or use Instant Death wards).

Prepare before you proceed and unlock the Achievement "Leviathan's Lair".
Note: Unequip everthing with a chance to apply poison!!!

Leviathan's Lair
Boss Leviathan, Tentacle I and Tentacle II: The Tentacles will buff him, so defeat them ASAP (he might revive them, though). He has no elemental weakness and no skills to learn.
If you hit him with his only weakness Poison, he will counter with Absolute Zero, destroying the party.

Once you think you have won, he starts Phase II with one more Tentacle I, but you will be healed automatically.

Boss Leviathan II, 2x Tentacle I and Tentacle II: Same as before and don't forget to cast Dispel.

Boss Leviathan III: Before Absolute Zero Strikes, cast Holy Ray or Death's Blessing (you have 5 Turns). Or you defeat him.

You unlock the Achievement "End of an Era" and return to Aquana.

Aquana
You obtain the Leviathan Token, Mermaid Statues (Home Upgrade) and Mermaid Orb.
At the Shop and Inn you will get an discount.
You cannot return to Leviathan's Lair anymore.

Seran Mausoleum
Open the Silver Chest to obtain The Time Fragment.
Chapter II: Into Time Flow Part 1
Time Flow
Just step on the only dead end of map 1.
Take the Time Book (W) if you want to return to map 1 (you cannot return to Icdalen currently).
Take the Time Book (E) to proceed to Wlandia and you obtain the Time Book (Key).
You can still use the Return Scrolls and then the Time Book to travel between those two continents.

Wlandia - Trin Island
There are no mobs and you cannot enter the volcano.

At the "Riddler's Chest #4" enter "give you up" to obtain Stimulant XL and Luck Up.

Somehow Zulwhern has jumped into the ocean around here...

Also find that teleporter and defeat Tsuno at the graveyard. It is weak to holy and non elemental physical attacks but resists fire. You will unlock the Achievement "Undead Slayer Deluxe".

A rest in the inn costs 120 Gold and buy the Skill Scan for 1000 Gold from the Clown.

In the upper cave you find a Fairy selling Item Bags and buy the Warlock's Book for Duran!
Enter the library (lower stairs) and Suan starts recherching and Eda gifts you the Silver Token Tablet.
She even has some tips when you don't know what to do anymore.
Talking to the walking NPC will proceed the story and unlock the volcano.

Trin Volcano
Items (map 1): Hi-Potion, Magic Water, Volcano Symbol (east of entrance)

You will get hurt by the heat on some tiles, so check your HP regulary.
Also equip weapons with ice or water.
Scan the Crimson Bat as it has the first Imitation skill for Suan (I have checked all mobs from Icdalen, see list)
Use the Volcano Symbol at the door to the north.

Near the door of map 2 save the NPC with a water spell (from the Warlock's Book worn by Duran) to unlock the Achievement "Fireman" and get the Flame Guard as reward.
Proceed to the switch and pull it to unlock the door.

Boss Chaos Bringer: Scan him for his weaknesses and skills to learn Fire Fuse. The bpss can counter your attacks, has a high evasion and HP Regen you cannot dispel, so it can be a bit frustrating to hit him with water and ice. Near his death he will cast Water immunity.

Suan will teleport you out of the collapsing Volcano.
You cannot enter it again.

Trin
Talk to old woman to obtain the Pearl.
If you have saved him in the volcano, the trapped NPC is near the tent.

Karma Event "A Letter" Part 2
Talk to the black NPC near the library.
  1. Stop following me, I'm not gonna answer. --> + 1 Neutral Karma
  2. I feel stronger than the Time God. It's gonna be easy. --> + 1 Bad Karma
  3. Can a pawn checkmate a God? --> + 1 Good Karma

Talk to the NPC in the library that has sent you into the volcano.
Boss Librarian?!: You just have to hit him once.
You obtain the Boat Remote and find the boat outside.

Note: With the Boat you can only row over the shallow waters (light blue).

Icywland
Deliver the Pearl and get Elixir, Resist Up and Winged Boots as reward for the side quest "Pearl Necklace" and unlock the Achievement "A Pearl!"

Wlandia Sea - Shallow Waters

Talk to the NPC and then climb the mountain on the island NW of Icywland.

Side Quest "Mother Glacia": Frostbite Mountain

The mobs are brutally strong, so you need to be prepared.
Earth weapons and a high fire resistance are necessary.
For other resistances choose water and earth.

The Water Imp will only appear at the 1st cave.
Before you enter the 2nd cave, walk to the chest in the NW first.
In the 2nd cave you will mostly encounter the Wisps. Juliet level 25 is very great against those.
Futher north is the peak and the Frostbite Flower.

Boss Water Dragon: weak to fire, thunder and wind, resists ice and water but is immune to earth. Omniblade in combination with Tri-Booster will be great. Protect against water and if possible instant death! It has no learnable skill.

Suan teleports you down the mountain.
Chapter II: Into Time Flow Part 2

Boss Goddess Glacia: weak to fire and thunder, immune to ice and water. Suan cannot learn a skill. Glacia has skills that will steal your MP, also she can heal herself for 11.500 HP in Hardcore. If Duran wears the Warlock's Book, let him cast Fire II when he is not healing. Suan should throw MP potions. Protect against water and ice!

You obtain 4200 Gold and the Achievement "Mother Glacia" as reward.

Icy Valley Well
Only now you can report to the NPC at the Water Dragon Shrine and obtain a Silver Token.

Careful now: those two dungeons have two routes!!
Depending of if you have defeated the Sand Tower Boss or not!
Both routes will unlock an Achievement and a new party member (but not the same).
Note: For the Bad Karma Route follow the neutral path here!

Art Museum

But you will get teleported to the other side of the mansion on the way back.

Boss Super Helmotron: no weaknesses, no skill to learn. He attacks multiple times with weak attacks (but hits 4 times 4 random targets, even after you defeat him). Tiger Stance can help!

Defeating him --> + 1 Neutral Karma.

Sand Tower
If you have listened to Seran's Elder:

There are holes in the floor, dropping back some tiles or a floor lower.
From floor 1 you have 3 paths up (statues to the west and centre, obelisks at the east).

West Statues (Floor 1): Read the hints (very dark saturated yellow) for the riddle and come back when you have found the switches for it.
Explanation for the solution: additive colours of green and blue is yellow and red will make it orange.
Take the Sun Key.

Central Statues (Floor 2) possible solutions (doesn't know negative numbers):
  • 9+4-8
  • 9+6-8-2
  • 6+4-3-2
Proceed and solve the colour riddle : for now light up all red, blue and green orbs to oben the chest in West Statues (Floor 1).
Unlock the door with the Sun Key and obtain 3000 Gold x2 and the Sun Ring including the Achievement.

Via the obelisks you reach Floor 2.
Take the tunnel you come across to reach: Bronze Ring, 1000 Gold, 2000 Gold, Protection Armlet and 50 Gold.
Once you got near the little red chest, you reach the end of the dungeon.

After your drop, read Note #14 (skeleton) and take the Sunbeam Crystal.

Boss Zulwhern (3rd fight): still weak to fire and holy. No skills to learn but will cast Holy Immunity after some turns.
If you have defeated the Super Helmotron earlier, Zulwhern, the crazy owner of the Art Museum will join your party during the battle (or joins you after the battle if you are too strong). --> + 1 Good Karma and Achievement "Who are you again?"

Unlocks the Achievement "Zulwhern I miss you".

Take Zulwhern's hole to leave.

If you haven't defeated the Super Helmotron, the Cursed Eagle outside will join your party. --> + 1 Neutral Karma, unlocks "Wings" and Achievement "Stop following us!"
The crazy owner of the Art Museum is gone now.

Reward: Unlimited Lumberjack Camp Return as well as the Achievement "Unlimited Teleport".

Seran
The village elder wants to know your new companion.

Dark Tunnel
Mobs: Dark Fox, Green Sahagin, Cursed Bandit, Brain Melter

Enter to witness a scene with the Mage Slayer.
Then enter again but beware of holes in the floor but only one kind of mob.

Head south at the first intersection to reach Stimulant and Elixir.
Return and head north and push the boulder away.
At the 2nd intersection find 330 Gold to the east, a orange boulder to the north, 890 Gold to the SW and a room near the entrance to the 2nd floor.

In that room find 50 Gold, Silver Token and more mobs!
At the first intersection head south to the Risk and Reward Shop!
To the north collect 150 Gold, leave the make and investigate the crate next to the bars to find a switch.

Return to the blocked path to the exit and the orange boulder is no more.

The 2nd floor is locked.
At the East Wing, talk to the NPC and notice the locked chest.
Get to the farthest west room of the west wing (the door is locked), pull the green lever and you will fall into the basement.

Boss Zombiemesh: well, this undead has no weakness or strength. No skills to learn. Just defeat it!
He blocks the way back to the entrance.

Return to the room with the green lever and you will find a new floor hatch at the bed.
Pull the yellow lever (the red one is stuck) and open a hidden door in the Library.
Check the books to find 4 duds.
Return to the sewers and pull the red lever.

Now you can enter the other room of the west wing and obtain the Haunted Mansion Key.
Unlock the chest in the east wing to obtain the Haunted Hall Key.
Unlock the 2nd floor.

Boss Yuurikah and Seemah: You can learn Cold Blast from Yuurikah.
Yuurika is weak to fire and holy, but resist all other element, especially dark.
Seemah resists all elements but wind!
Seemah is the healer, so defeat her first.

Take the door to the north to proceed and unlock the Achievement "Fresh Air".
Leave the area.

    Equality will reduce your HP to 1, a high HP Regen and strong healing right after that is recommendend.
    After Time Prison, he will restack the Doom and you have 10 more turns.
    At the End of those 20 turns he will remove Doom.
    Once he mumbles about the finishing blow, he will heal and buff himself fully.
    Next turn he will kill 4 of the party members, best cast Holy Ray/Death's Blessing first!
    But he seems to regret it, so he revives them only to kill them again in the next turn.

    Survive until he asks you about the Sealight Blooms and give them to him.
    Best equip the Colourful Bandana to deal more damage at least with one party member...

    Return to Qual Village and talk to her (yes, her) in the pub.

    Boss Red Chest: has a high DEF and resists all elements. Best use Defense Ignoring Skills.
    And wow, you get trice the money you needed to buy the Sealight Blooms...
    You unlock the Achievement "Costy Reward".

You mercenary warns you about bandits (automatic event at 12 home upgrades).

Bandit Hideout
Follow that overenthuastic mercenary to the NE.
Climb the rope and find Apple, Gold Fish.
East of the rope find a Potion (bag).
To the south find the mercenary.

Boss Bandit Commander, Iceassin and Rookie Bandit: Suan can learn "Divine Song" from the Rookie Bandit. Also defeat that one first! Don't underestimate the boss but all 3 can be poisoned!

Use the medi kit to heal.
You can return Home for shopping.

Enter the Base to the south.
The building to the west is locked, so head into the basement.
From west to east: 2x Stimulant, Rookie Bandit and Iceassin (heal at the medi kit!), Mana Herb.
After you have searched all 3 rooms, you will encounter the boss.

Boss Bandit Mage: He will silence the party at once. Defeat him fast, as his later AOEs will deal massive damage or cannot be hit for a while.

With the Bandit's Key you can now unlock the west building.
Gather Speed Up, Life Up and Decorative Sword.

Wake up the mercenary and the Prison will be added to the Home.

Rememer to pick the Carrot each 5 minutes.
In the house talk to the green haired NPC to buy the Wardrobe Key and Achievement "Fashion Artist" for 1000 Gold.
Now you can change the appearance of your party.

Check the shops for new stock.
Unlock the Achievement "Growing Community" with 14 home upgrades.
You have new visitors (like sleeper under a tree, music room).

Map 1
Only Suan can translate the scriptures at the big stone monument.
Riddle 1: That will open the trapdoor hiding stairs.
Down in the maze the platforms are teleporters (remember I go clockwise).

Teleporter B2: Torch

You need Immortal Fire to light up torches found in a bag on B3.
Then you can enter the Sphinx there and pull the lever.
Now you can open the chest with the Purple Geode on map 1.

Map 2 (west)
Riddle 2: You have to put geodes on the pedestals next to the stone monument next to the trap.
Riddle 3: you have to run clockwise around the pyramid, the spike trap is the finishing line.
Unlocks the chest with the Red Geode on that map.

Map 3 (NW)
Riddle 4: search in the sand and obtain the Yellow Geode as reward.

Map 4 (NE)
Riddle 5: this time a bridge to the east appears.
Read the book and follow the instructions.
Read the book again and then open the chest with the White Geode.

Pyramid (inside)
You unlock the Achievement "Tomb and Puzzle".

Riddle 6: You have to put the same amount of gold into both boxes, open them from low to high (you can get everything).
Don't forget to take the money with you later (Jannet).

You need to have finished at least 2 bounty hunts and unlock the Achievement "Beginner Hunter".

You cannot proceed to the east, but the mobs from the Silent Forest can appear in this area.

Talk to the next guard and the sends you back.

Now you can enter the eastern part of the forest.

Silent Forest

You can climb the vines to proceed.

Once you proceed east after the 1st vine, Juliet will leave the party, so better clear her equipment on the Ignorant, Bad and Neutral Routes!

Don't miss the path to the chest in the SE before you proceed to the NE.
There are no more random encounters and you cannot turn back for now.

Enter the house and find Bread (sack), 260 Gold (bookshelf), Note #16 (kitchen) and finally Checkpoint Pass (bedroom).

Ignorant Route
Return to Juliet, but... and the party will leave you.
If you have >= 4 points in any of the karma routes, you will only earn a Game Over.
--> Bad Ending - "Price of Careless" (Achievement)
  1. Failure: Duran is effected by Time Sickness and all stats are permamently decreased by 20 Points.
    Karma Event "Juliet's and Zulwhern's End":
    Return to Juliet, Treephop learns Exorcism Punch.

Enter the castle and ??? tells you to head into the west wing.
The Entrance Hall is the best place to grind the gargoyles.
Ignore him and first investigate the east wing but you cannot proceed there yet.

In the east wing you will start encountering Mimics.
This place is better than the west wing to encounter Inflictors.

Boss Fire Keeper: weak to holy, resists dark.

Investigate the wand at the stairs behind the Fire Keeper and Suan will find the Fire Lighter you need.
Prepare it for the battle.

Boss Fire Lord Servant: duel vs. Suan. No weaknesses or learnable skills.

Boss God Slime: duel vs. Suan. Learn "Goofy" from it but beware it critical hits. Try to apply poison so it will get huge damage per tick. The fight will probably end after some turns (no rewards for defeating it).

Then Suan will meet up with the party and deliver the Fire Lighter before it got missing again.
Light up the wall and head to the west wing.
Proceed to the basement...

Boss 4 different Fire Lord's Servants: defeat them without ??? (as he is a traitor). After some turns Suan will return to the party.
Boss Zuin the Demon Dragon: weak to water and ice but resists fire. No skills to learn.

Prepare!

Boss Fire Lord: weak to water but immune to fire. Suan can learn "Counter Orbs".
You unlock the Achievement "Fire Lord" and obtain the Fire Key.

Stepping on the throne will proceed the story.

Dainbum
You cannot enter for now but you can teleport back into the Fire Castle.
On the small island west of Dunbain are the same mobs as on the peninsula.

The female NPC will sell you the best Worm, Frog, Firefly and Fat Worm Bait (when you have a high enough Fishing Rank).

Fat Worm Bait will attrack all fishes including the huge boss fishes.

You can buy one home upgrade here.
That is all you can currently do.

Trin Volcano

The Fierce Spirt and Dark Slime Soldiers drops 3 kinds of Stimulants!
There are two path you can take: To the Caldera via the stairs to the east or head south and walk over the hard lava until you can cross the bridge and reach the cave.

My recommendation: first read the murals in the cave!

In front of the Caldera read the pedestals from left to right and enter "mydha", "ash", "illusion" and "chaos".
Enter and proceed.

Read the pedestal and defeat the next two bosses and return to the pedestal again.
The bosses are really strong even on casual, so come with a high level party.

Boss Mirage Guard: hope you have no problems with his image. He has a high evasion (but not as terrible as the Flaming Bat) and acts multiple times per turn. Weak to water but resist fire and thunder. Best are multiple hit skills/weapons and one character should heal most of the time (best is Duran, and when possible attack with Poison Cut IV).

Boss Dreamer: Use his sleeping phase to buff your party! Weak to holy and resists dark. You have to protect against Sleep (Mastery, Purple Shard or Amnesia)!!! Wake him ASAP after he has cast Eternal Slumber! No skills to learn but is the easier one.

Don't forget to return to the pedestal and then enter the new path.
Collect Magic Up and Luck up ony your way to the Magma Chamber.

Items (Magma Chamber 1): Golden Dragon Statue (home upgrade), Full Potion, 5000 Gold, Power Up
Items (Magma Chamber 2): Bouncy Mechanism

Stepping on the red buttons will throw you over cliffs to reach that special key item.
Use it to cross the Lava Lake.

Boss Mydha: weak to water and can destroy your MP.
Cast Holy Ray or Death's Blessing in the 3rd turn or you get wiped out!
Once he has buffed his MAT, repeat it every (2nd) turn or be nearly immune to fire!
Or you dispel this buff!

You unlock the Achievement "Defeat the Undefeatable".

Now you can visit some locations with empty mechanims.

    You unlock the Achievement "Defeat a God".

Talk to the NPC in front of the Apple Tree House about Qual.
She wants you to find Lost Equipment on an western island (Ancient Mines).

Note that finishing that quest will affect the ending, number of side quests and achievements you get.
The latest chance is right before you head to the Sohenta Gates.

Boss King & Queen of Dainbum, Fire Lord' Servant, Cerberus: You can learn Diving Song from the Queen and Lightning Breath from the Cerberus. The King is weak to ice and earth but resists fire, water and wind. The Queen resists all elements. The Cerberus is weak to earth, water and wind but resist fire, ice and thunder.
Defeat the Servant first, then the Royality beginning with the King. Mass Dispel is really helpful.

You unlock the Achievement "Last of them" and can pilfer the houses.
Find Hi-Potion, Dispel Herb, Silver Token (east house), Speed Up as well as Life Up in the south house.

But you still cannot return to Dainbum.

World Tree
Show the Bone to Zulwhern (talk to him twice).
When you try to steal his sword, he attacks.

Boss Zulwhern (final battle): still weak to holy and fire and still will cast Holy Immunity later.

Defeat him and take Zulwhern's Sword and unlock the Achievement "Zulwhern's Retirement".

Bad Karma Route:
When you first talk to Zulwhern he will give you Juliet's Eyepatch (no item entry in the Identity Book).

Bad Karma Route: Icywland

Enter the Abandoned Storage and investigate the sparkling tile.
Use the Eyepatch and try to leave the town.
Return to the storage and find her at the graveyard later.

Boss Past Sion: still weak to fire and wind. But you only have Duran, and when you haven't given him the Black Knowledge Scroll or Warlock's Book, then hope he has a Job with Black Magic or the right equipment.
Reward: +1 Good Karma and Achievement "Necromancer".

Bad Karma Route: Silent Woods

The grave has vanished after reviving Juliet.

EXP Grinding
  1. Change the difficulty to "Hardcore" for better drop and gold rates (can decrease the time to get rare item drops).
  2. For bosses and after changing jobs you can still change to "Casual".
  3. Get 18x Slimey Candy from the Slime Soldiers in the Gywndia Ice Tunnels (each character can equip 6 of them for a whooping 30% EXP Boost).
  4. The Slime Drop only have a 1% EXP Boost, so only until you have the better Slimey Candy.
  5. Get another 12x Slimey Candy in the Oni Ice Tunnels (easier).
  6. Do Fish Donations and obtain the Graduate Learner (additional 20% EXP Boost)!
  7. Obtain the Lucky Dice in the Haunted Mansion (10% EXP Boost).
  8. Alternatively to the Slimey Candy you can fish for Not so Lucky Dices in Sandock (only 4% EXP Boost), Slime Cubes at the Lake west of Icywland (3% EXP Boost) or even Unlucky Dices (2% EXP Boost).
  9. Obtain the Stalker's Sickle from the Stalkers in the Ancient Mines (10% EXP Boost).
  10. Reach the area around Tidender as the mobs there will drop thousands of EXP.

Gold Grinding
  1. Change the difficulty to "Hardcore" for better drop and gold rates (120% Gold Rate).
  2. Buy the Pot of Greed in Chronix (double gold rate, doesn't stack).
  3. Earn 1 million Gold and obtain "Greed" (double gold rate, doesn't stack).
  4. Gold Spot 1: Frostbite Mountain (max. 1300 Gold per battle)
  5. Gold Spot 2: Underwater Gold Clam & Blue Pearls (max. 7200 Gold per battle, 2500 Gold per Pearl).

Drop Grinding
  1. Change the difficulty to "Loot Hunt" for best drop rates (250% Boost).
  2. The drop rate of bosses is 100%, so you can defeat them on "Casual".
  3. I have mentioned what mob you will encounter in each dungeon or area. Bold mobs will drop equipment. For what they drop, please look into the Bestiary (Identity Book).
  4. Earn 1 million Gold and obtain "Greed" (double item drop rate)!
  5. Solve riddle #6 of the Pyramid with the highest sacrifice to find the Golden Bell (double item drop rate)!

Notes:
  • Why getting the first batch of "Slimey Candy" from the Gywnadia Ice Tunnels? - Because on the Good Karma route you can't enter either tunnels with Esther in party.
  • When can I get the "Graduate Learner" at the earliest? - After you have reached Crystal Beach and Seran.
  • How can I save money when fishing? - First catch the fishes which need the most expensive bait and catch the rest with baits of decreasing worth.
  • Dual Wielding Daggers with Dual Attack will result in 3 attacks.
    Dual Wielding one Dagger with Dual Attack and another weapon, will result in 2 attacks.
    Later you will find weapons with Triple Attack.
    Jobs can influence the number of attacks, too
