Foreword
If you are a veteran, you do not need this.
But I still made this for new and returning players who are playing again with Sunbreak ~

And check out my other guides as well for more as I keep updating them with whatever new exciting stuff I discover and is going to be released.

What's New?
With version 10.0.2.0 PC/Steam of the game, we can now link Radial Menues Loadouts with our Item Loadouts. That change is HUGE! Like, a really big thing when it comes to Quality of Life Improvements!

How so?
With the fact that we can now link Radial Menues Loadouts with our Item Loadouts it was never easier to bring along adjusted Radial Menues aka hotkeys fitting our needs. No more manual editing when you change from a melee weapon to a ranged weapon, in which for the latter you would prefer to use hotkeys for crafting ammo on the fly!

Same goes for Singleplayer vs. Multiplayer loadouts - you might have a different preference for hotkeys when playing Singleplayer while in Multiplayer you want other hotkeys for stuff you normally do not bring along when playing alone, like Dust of Life and other powders which can help you and your team in a tight spot!

You can adjust the new settings in Game Settings to your needs - these images show suggestions how you can prepare your Radial Menues Loadouts for linking them with your Item Loadouts. Depending on your chosen setting all you need is to equip the Radial Menu Loadout which you want to link with your Item Loadout when saving your Item Loadout. Simple enough, right?

Does it not sound amazing!?
Believe me: when you use it to its full potential, it totally is!
Singleplayer Item Loadout

The set consists of

1x Mega Armorskin
1x Mega Demondrug
5x Dash Juice
10x Gourmet Fish
10x Mega Potion
10x Adamant Seed
3x Hardshell Powder
10x Might Seed
3x Demon Powder
5x Flash Bomb
10x Herbal Medicine
8x Nulberry
2x Max Potion
1x Ancient Potion
8x Tranq Bomb
1x Shock Trap
1x Pitfall Trap
Armorcharm*
Armortalon*
Powercharm*
Powertalon*
2x Mega Barrel Bomb
1x Farcaster

* endgame items

Just one of each "Mega-drinks", as those last the whole hunt - unless you faint. If that happens, you are lucky to be carted to the front of your camp tent, so you can easily refresh your loadout.

While the powders seem at first too much for Singleplayer, they do stack with the other Upgrade Items. Three minutes of extra power you do not want to miss.

No need to max out the Nulberries which you bring along. They grow everywhere!

No extra Steaks or Rations? Well, when playing Singleplayer all what is in the Supply Box are yours. Plus: Dash Juice do recover stamina as well!

Veteran's Tip
The Mega Barrel Bombs are of course the extra "punch" for waking up monsters. In case you are worried that your weapon strike might not be powerful enough and no Blast Toad is nearby.
P.S.: In Master Rank Blast Toads are even more powerful!
Multiplayer Item Loadout

The set consists of

1x Mega Armorskin
1x Mega Demondrug
5x Dash Juice
10x Gourmet Fish
10x Mega Potion
10x Adamant Seed
3x Hardshell Powder
10x Might Seed
3x Demon Powder
5x Flash Bomb
10x Herbal Medicine
8x Nulberry
2x Max Potion
1x Ancient Potion
8x Tranq Bomb
1x Shock Trap
1x Pitfall Trap
Armorcharm*
Armortalon*
Powercharm*
Powertalon*
2x Mega Barrel Bomb
10x Small Bomb
1x Farcaster

* endgame items

As you can see, this is a loadout which puts emphasis on general support by using extra healing powders. There is now less space left for extra crafting materials, so only two Mega Barrel Bombs should do to start with. Remember: you can always Fast Travel back to your camp to get more!

Did you know?
Unlike the Mega Potions, healing powders like Dust of Life will heal you instantly. No drinking animation or delay. That is not only a big boon during Multiplayer, but it can be also taken into consideration to take them along for Singleplayer should you find yourself in a hard challenge.

Veteran's Tip
If your hunting party members have all Flinch Free but someone is lacking e.g. Stun Resistance or Paralysis Resistance, etc. you can also bring along some Small Bombs instead of the Herbal Powder for an effective "shake-off". Adjust or make a new Radial Menu Loadout and Item Loadout for that accordingly.

Your Order, Hunter!
Did you know?
How the items are arranged for you in your Item bar, when you select them not via Radial Menu, depends on how the items are arranged in your Item Pouch. Simply by rearranging them before saving the loadout can make it much easier for you to select the item you wish to use.

In this specific arrangement, the Might Seeds and Adamant Seeds look a little misplaced. But I actually have had in mind that they are easy to select this way, whether you go left or right from the menu's starting position ~ left the five minutes Upgrade Items aka seeds, right the healing items ~ adjust it to your personal liking for your most effective usage!

Veteran's Tip
The Action Bar can be edited to your liking too!
That way you could even start every hunt with Use the Felvine! as pre-selected action.

"Default" Suggestions
As a matter of course: please do not consider these Item Loadout Suggestions of mine as perfect or must-have. They are just suggestions and by far not perfect. Just something like a foundation to build upon, with you adjusting them to your personal needs.

How about e.g. some Item Loadouts specifically for the new Sunbreak monsters additions Seregios and Shogun Ceanataur? Gourmet Fish will certainly make a good addition for those encounters while you might need them less in other. Similar approaches with monsters who are e.g. sensitive to Sonic Bombs! Give it a try!

Afterword
Thank you so much for checking out my guides!

These guides of mine would not exist without Your support by upvoting my very first guide and all the gifts of awards which kept me motivated throughout good days and bad days.

While this one might be not much in comparison to my many others, I still hope it is of good use for you - at least to quickly share this helpful information as simple as possible.

I wish you all a good time and ~

Happy Hunting!
