1: You (a ball)
So, in the CMBCU (Countryballs: Modern Ballfare Cinematic Universe) you play as a lil countryball fighting for... something or other. But if you wanna ball to maximum efficiency you gotta look the ball too

This is you, a ball. For now you won't have a lot of customisation in terms of cosmetics but you'll quickly earn more as you play the game.

You can choose from a large selection of countries to play as. Maybe represent the country you're from or just pick one that you think is cool. (eg: any Scandinavian country (im not biased shush)) Maybe even pick one that no longer exists! The roman empire has come back to haunt us!

Customisation and Weapons

In Countryballs: Modern Ballfare there are 6 loadout items to customise: A primary weapon, secondary weapon, throwable, melee weapon and two abilities. how each of them work individually I will discuss later.

Currently there are 2 different primary weapons and 3 secondary weapons.
The two primaries are a Thompson SMG and a pump shotgun.
For secondaries there is a Colt, a semi-automatic pistol; the big iron, a revolver and a fully automatic MAC 10.

It doesn't matter too much what you pick because it all mostly viable, but try picking a combination of weapons that cover each other's weaknesses. For example, a MAC 10 is a good pick if you're using a shotgun to cover it's slow fire rate.

Melee weapons function almost identically, although larger melee items might have further reach due to their size. They have 3 different attacks: A standard swing, a backhanded swing and a regular stab. You can also block attacks with mouse2 if timed correctly
2: Throwables and Abilities (The B in MOBA stands for Ball)
So, you've picked your country and kitted up with your weapons of choice. Now it's time to become one with the ball and pick the abilities that are right for you.

There's a large amount of abilities to choose from and you can equip two of them to take into battle. Experimenting is always a good idea, but knowing what they do should help you decide which one's you want to try. Here's a brief rundown of what each ability does:

Bombbelt
Well, it's quite simple. You blow yourself up taking out anyone near you. Perfect if you miss that really obscure glitch in Modern Warfare two where if you had a Javelin launcher, pulled out a semtex grenade but didn't throw it, then died, you'd explode... That's simple right?

Jetpack
Also simple, you'll gain a big vertical boost in the air, very useful for mobility.

Leap
One of my personal favourites. You leap into the air regardless if you've already jumped and slam into the ground. If you land close enough to your target you'll kill them instantly, good for mobility too.

Vampire
While using this ability, any damage you deal will heal you.

Fart
Ok I dunno too much about this one. You spawn a cloud of gas which probably deals damage to enemies who enter it. What did you eat?

Rush B
Become the P90 you were always meant to become and rush forward with your melee weapon.

Spitfire
Temporarily pilot a spitfire shooting rockets at you enemies. You didn't go to flying school though so have fun trying to control it!

Call the Cops
Call on a formation of american riot police for support. Who will peacefully beat down any enemy in their path. Don't worry, they totally abide by the rules of engagement.

Trump Wall
Travel back to 2016, and build a wall between you and your enemies. There's no legal way to cross this border.

Deus Vault and Viking
Kit yourself out in awesome armour and sword/axe and get a boost of speed.

Meme Airlines
Answer the question of what happens to missing flights by calling this unconventional form of air support. It takes a while to arrive but it does massive damage to anyone caught in it's blast.

Ball Horn
honk

Pirate Cannon
Shoot... hot dogs? at your enemies. Yes, they instant kill

Slavic Disco
The fight too much for you? Take a break and transport yourself to the Slavic disco! Be careful of any rival dancers trying to escape the battle!

Russian Vodka
The cause of these effects are unknown, but there is something in this vodka that can turn anyone into a soviet communist. Be weary of the hangover!

Throwables

There are a few throwable items to choose from. These can compliment your arsenal. here are some brief rundowns:

C4
Throw, then trigger an explosion.

Dynamite
A perfect tool for committing crimes in the old wild west. It has a longish fuse but does some good damage!

Molotov
Coats the ground with fire, good for area denial. Don't drink it though, I dunno what they put in this one.

Landmine
Will explode when it comes into contact with an enemy, watch where you step!

Supply Box
Get yourself some ammo!

Throw 'Knife'
Throw a 'knife' at your enemy for an instant kill!

Poop toss
Now you're just being immature! Still, it obscures your enemy's vision so that's a plus. There also may or may not be a leaderboard related to using this item...
3: Gamemodes and Maps (Start ballin'!)
Gamemodes

There are currently 6 modes in the game:

Free-For-Ball
A classic deathmatch, kill anything that rolls!

Political-Negotiations
It's a little known fact that this is actually how politicians negotiate with each other. They have a nice game of Countryballs: Modern Ballfare! This is your standard team deathmatch mode. Work together to win!

Bats N Balls
A free-for-all mode with only your melee weapon. You can find concussion guns around the map to push enemies away... Or to their death.

Shuffle PVP
All 4 of these modes shuffled. A great way to have a ball of a time! (Please laugh I'm begging)

Balls From Hell
A co-op mode where you survive waves of zombies in a unique map. How long can you last?

Hacker Mode
Free-For-Ball with cheats enabled, enter at your own peril!

Maps

There are currently 3 (technically 4) multiplayer maps to choose from. Each has their own unique layout. There is also 1 map made for Balls From Hell.

Bunkertown
A small, totally real town with what totally isn't a nuclear bunker. Fight around the buildings or take to the tunnels of the bunker. Don't press that button!

Rooftops
Hop from roof to roof as you take the fight to the enemy. Don't fall off!

Valley
War happens in the wild too! Hills provide high ground while the crevasses provide flanking routes. There is also a winter themed version of this map, I wonder if you'll find Santa there too.

What else is there to know?

You can find other weapons lying around the map like a classic arena shooter. Some very in power but they allow for different ways to engage the enemy.

You can also find a '???' powerup that gives whoever picks it up a random effect. This can be something either really useful, or really useless. It's worth a go!

Also, at the end of every game you are transported to a minigame where everyone has to smash a Piñata for epic loot. This is how you earn more cosmetic items.
Conclusion (Keep on Rollin')
Now you should know the basics of the gameplay of Countryballs: Modern Ballfare. There isn't really much else to go on about in detail. It's best to see everything yourself, have fun and I'll try and update this guide whenever there's something new!

See you on the battlefield fellow balls!
