How to skip the opening and deactivate the FPS counter

In-game, the opening cannot be skipped and the FPS counter cannot be removed, but this can be changed.

Guide

Since you can't in-game, in order to do that it is necessary to adjust the settings located in the game files.

Finding the settings file:

1. Enter into the game files (Steam\steamapps\common\Corpse Party Book of Shadows);
   
2. Open the file named "corpsepartybos".

Skipping the opening:
Change "DisableVideos=0" to "DisableVideos=1".

However, doing so will prevent you from viewing the final cutscene in the chapter 8 and the credits. Moreover, you will not be able to listen to the soulful testimonies. You will need to return to "0" and restart the game if you want to view it and listen it.

Deactivating the FPS counter:
Change "ShowFPS=1" to "ShowFPS=0".
