Foreword
The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante is an incredibly well written game with a complex set of choices and consequences. Set in a very interesting constructed world where the divine has a concrete, palpable presence and where humanity is divided through a caste system and led by an ancient and powerful Empire.
The game offer a choose-your-own adventure style gameplay, and since lots of decisions can lead to fortune or ruins, I wanted to try to write up a guide on how to survive and thrive in the world.
The guide you're reading now is aimed to make Sir Brante live the life of a commoner, then conspirator, and finally leader of a rebellion that would sweep the continent.

This guide aim to make you experience events that fits into this life, by entering the psychology of Sir Brante. It also aims to absolutely keep the Brante family alive through the entire experience, even if it would cost noble titles, or some arguments.

I hope you will enjoy this guide, and if you're interested in a Sir Brante following the path of an Old Faith Inquisitor, please look out for my other guides "Selection of Fate"

    ...............................................................................................................................................
    Final Outcomes

    Outcome of the Revolt:
The peace treaty makes Anizotte a free city in which all estates are equal, led by a People's Council. Gaius Tempest convince the emperor to give more freedoms to the common estate after the Revolt spread to the rest of the Empire. The Empire is bound to change its ways.
    • Power: The citizens learn to govern their city and manage their lives all on their own. They will not surrender their freedom without a fight
    • Church: The New Faith prevails. The Old Faith has lost the influence it once had, but it is not persecuted.
    • Wealth of Magra: Magra becomes one of the most prosperous lands in the Empire.
Order: Turmoil still simmers beneath the surface, ready to spill out onto the streets at any provocation. You cannot restore order to Magra on a Rebel Path.

    • Divine Omens: The symbols of the Lots disappear from temples, everyone is free from the Lots.

    What became of...
    • Filipe El Ferro: Escaped Anizotte, but executed for his ambitions.
    • Dorius Otton: Broken and torn apart by Anizotte's mob.
    • Augustin El Borne: Helped in transforming the city. Remembered fondly as a luminary.
Father Lennart: Renounced prieshood, became a hermit.

    • Tommas: Reunited with you. Became captain of the city guard. Remained friends for the rest of your lives.
    • Sophia: Executed by your hand. Murky legacy.

    • The Brante Family: Lauded as heroes. The citizens remember that they owe their freedom to your family. The Brantes survived every ordeal and found peace.
    • Robert Brante: Became a founder of the new Anizotte. Helped many Imperial officials to side with the new order. Remembered as a protector of the common people.
    • Lydia Brante: Remained righteous in her Old Faith. Died without fear.
    • Stephan Brante: Moved to the Capital. Saved from a conspiracy thanks to his ties to the Brante family and became supreme commander of the Legion.
    • Gloria: Helped build the new Anizotte. Remembered as the first poet of the common folk and a harbringer of a new age.
    • Nathan: Free to choose his own Lot, became a priest nad helped others.
    • Gregor Brante. Forever angry.
    • You: Member of the Council of Anizotte, devoted your life to preserve freedoms, brought your vision throughout the Empire. Remembered as the liberator of Anizotte and the harbinger of a new age.
You earned freedom – not just for yourself, but for others as well.

So ends the life and suffering of Sir Brante, the Rebel Lotless, a man of peculiar destiny who defied powerful wills to win freedom for all and liberate the Empire from the yolk of the Lots, and who kept his family safe and happy through every ordeals.
Alternate path: Sophia as a Lover with a worse Revolt outcome
If you like the character of Sophia enough to justify a worse end state for the world, I propose to you an alternate version where you save Sophia from her destructive impulses and keep her alive and close to the very end.

Following Sophia and triggering the Last Straw revolt leads with her instead of Mayer Egmont will always lead to a worse outcome for the revolt as it will be imposible to broker peace with the Overseer since you will lack a single but crucial point of support in the Clergy.

Still, should you Defeat the Legion, you keep the Overseer hostage and the Revolt succeed at the cost of the province's wealth and order. Should you Defend the City, you will go down in a blaze of glory, uncompromising to the very end, giving the world a hope for a new Revolt in the future.

Is Love worth those sacrifices? You decide.

@k.john.nathe I earned it by agreeing to make a deal with Egmont and El Verman on the Commoner/Lotless path. This was without an oath of friendship to Tommas.

Good to see other options to get perfect rebel ending. I made some decisions other way and (to my own shame) I didn’t even think of getting 10 wealth. This game doesn’t take experiments with numbers lightly. You did great job

Though my personal favorite path in the Lotless branch is Glory to the Empire!, this is an extremely well-written guide with every important choice explained.
