FlexPoser: Real-time face tracking and animation

Beschreibung
By enabling this addon on your server players can use a webcam to control their character's facial expressions in real-time for other players on the server to see. Type !fp in-game to configure. Players who want their facial expressions tracked must download a binary module from http://flexposer.com/download.php . Players without the module can still join and see the expressions.

Uses FaceTracker library by Jason Saragih: http://jsaragih.org/
_______________________________

I made a small tool for quickly testing outside of the game whether your webcam is compatible. You can download it here: http://flexposer.com/fpWebcamTest.zip . You need VC++ 32-bit redistributables installed to run it (same as binary module).

Development has ended on this plugin, but it will remain downloadable. Feel free to keep using it and please help each other out in the comments / discussions here.

there is only a 32x dll file, so it doesnt work with the 64x branch of gmod. if you could, can you please update it so there is a 64x dll file. I wanted to use this for a video and i dont want to downgrade to the 32x version just for this.

If anyone is still writing to figure it out, then hear me out.

First, you're going to have to download that DLL and put it to the instructed location.

Then, you'll need to be running on x32 version of GMOD, NOT the x64 version.

After that, try to host a singleplayer map. Press 'y', type '!fp', and hit Enter. The menu should now pop up.

However, this mod seems to only work well with default models. Anything else, like anime, would just distort the faces, like exaggerating the blinking. If I have to take an educated guess, there's some sort of hard-coded parameters that the mod uses where it differs for different models and what not.

Overall, for an experimentation graduation project, I'd say that he cooked something. For actual production use....yeah no....this mod got cooked.

Welp, so much for motion capture facial expression. Guess ya'll going to have to manually animate it for GMOD, lel.
