Local Community Server

Launching the local community levels server emulator.
Also contains a dump of all community levels until November 2020.
Official community levels server was shut down in April 2021.

Server Emulator

Download[github.com] and extract archive. Contains a dump of all community levels for September 2020.

Run notepad as administrator, open hosts file located at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts, paste these lines and save.

127.0.0.1  default-environment-vk7dhyhsng.elasticbeanstalk.com  # Stealth Bastard
127.0.0.1  stealthinc2sony.elasticbeanstalk.com                 # Stealth Inc 2

Run run_server.bat. Admin privileges required

Old Method

Download archive[heatray.github.io] and unpack contents with replacement to %APPDATA%\StealthBastard[Steam] and enjoy.

After passing any unrated community level, menu freezes and only ALT+F4 works.





Achievements Outside The Box, Affirmative Action and Strategic Restructure managed to get without problems.

The problem with Consumer Feedback is that ratings are not saved, but there is also a manual way.
Data about played levels is saved in %APPDATA%\StealthBastard[Steam]\Levels\user.data in format id,completed,rating,favorite,???.
You need to put a rating for 20 or more levels.
For example:

Need to change to:

There must be something like this:

To prevent your changes from being overwritten, you need to disable Steam Cloud for a while.
Complete any level and get an achievement.

I have more than 1500 levels from the gaming community for the game:

Stealth Bastard: Tactical Espionage Arsehole (2011)

I downloaded all the levels from the community in early 2018, anticipating that the servers would soon cease to exist. And so it happened. If anyone is interested, then write. I don't think anyone else has them anywhere (except, of course, the developers).

Only the old way works for me on Windows 11, but I can rate the levels, it's just really time consuming with it constantly crashing afterwards

Awesome work man, thank you for helping us obtain 100% achievements! Tons of extra content to play through if you want too. Btw it only freezes the game if you rate a level - you can just quit it at the ratings screen and it'll stay completed, so you can play the game normally pretty much (though you'll still need to use the workaround for Consumer Feedback anyway).

Also: to get Strategic Restructure (remix a community level) you need to press F1 while playing a community level.
