I think I found out why there was an issue with the downloading: I accidentally put in the "devel" folder into the Steam workshop version. That folder contains a bunch of "symlinks".
Symlinks are sort of a Linux thing that can make things wonky when uploading to the net.

how to manually install this mod? is it still go to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310 directory or go to the Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod directory?

Its curious how some people have issue with the mod primarily because its installed through Steam. Had 0 problems when I manually installed this in the past.

You guys had ought to try downloading the mod yourselves on a different computer, just so you can see what's going on. Because I have never had this issue with a mod in CK3 before.
