-"Farm Types" are selected when starting the game and can be changed later.

-Farm Types is very important in terms of gameplay, but it does not affect the story.

There are 8 types of farms in total. These are as follows:
  • Standart Farm
  • Riverland Farm
  • Forest Farm
  • Hill-top Farm
  • Wilderness Farm
  • Four Corners Farm
  • Beach Farm
  • Meadowlands Farm
-Standart Farm
It is the standard farm type of the game and this type is usually recommended for beginners.

General Features of the Map are as follows:

  • Most of this map is ideal for Farming and Livestock and recommended for beginners.

  • The number of tillable tiles on this map is 3427, with 235 non-tillable but build-able tiles.

  • The biggest contiguous rectangular area is 63 x 31 (1953) tiles.

Also "Farming" is more up front compared to other maps.

-Riverland Farm
The map is ideal for those who like to fish as it is mostly water.

The General Features of the Map are as follows:

  • The majority of this map is water. Fishing is viable on this farm:

  • 70% of the time, players will catch town river fish, i.e., fish that are found in Pelican Town.

  • 30% of the time, players will catch forest fish, i.e., fish that are found in Cindersap Forest.

  • Water significantly decreases the amount of farming area.

  • The number of tillable tiles on this map is 1578, with 516 non-tillable but build-able tiles.

Also, the "Fishing" feature is more prominent than other maps.
-Forest Farm
Since the entire map is covered with vegetation, the number of agricultural areas is less than other maps.

General Features of the Map are as follows:

  • The farm border is made of trees and foliage, just like in the
    Secret Woods[stardewvalleywiki.com].

  • Many bushes can be found on this map, including berry bushes.

  • Additional ponds and grass areas decrease the overall farming area.

  • The number of tillable tiles on this map is 1413, with 1490 non-tillable but build-able tiles.
-Hill-top Farm
It is ideal for players who do not want to suffer from mining shortages.

General Features of the Map are as follows:

  • Depending on your mining level, random ores spawn in the southwest of the map.

  • The mining area may sometimes be blocked by a Large Stump, Large Log, or a Boulder, making it impossible to enter until the player has the correct tool.

  • Additional cliffs and a stream decrease the overall farming area.

  • The number of tillable tiles on this map is 1648, with 930 non-tillable but build-able tiles.

In addition, the "Mining" feature stands out more than other maps.
-Willderness Farm
-I do not recommend it for beginners, as evil creatures appear at night.

General Features of the Map are as follows:

  • Monsters spawn at night (scales with the player's Combat level).

  • This map can spawn more Wilderness Golems[stardewvalleywiki.com] than other farms if they have spawning monster enabled. See
    Advanced Options[stardewvalleywiki.com] for more info.

  • Additional cliffs and ponds decrease the overall farming area.

  • The number of tillable tiles on this map is 2131, with 444 non-tillable but build-able tiles.

Also,"Combat" ability is more prominent than other maps.
-Four Corners Farm
Each corner of this four-cornered map has different features.

The General Features of the Map are as follows:

  • The farming area is split by cliffs into four distinct areas, each reminiscent of some of the other Farm Maps.

  • Top left: Forest Farm. This quadrant has a small grassy area containing a Large Stump, and weeds here can transform into the same unique ones that always drop mixed seeds as on the Forest Farm.

  • Bottom left: This quadrant has a pond. Players have a 50% chance of catching forest pond fish, i.e., fish that are found in the Cindersap Forest[stardewvalleywiki.com] pond.

  • Bottom right: Hilltop Farm. This quadrant contains a small quarry that spawns Rocks and Ore and Geode nodes depending on the player's Mining level.

  • Additional cliffs and ponds decrease the overall farming area.

  • The number of tillable tiles on this map is 2952.

It is also the preferred farm type for "Multiplayer" games.
-Beach Farm
Intended for "seasoned players", not as a first farm.

The General Features of the Map are as follows:

  • Good foraging and fishing, and a lot of open space. Sometimes, supply crates wash up on shore.

  • Both forest and beach foragables may spawn.

  • Sprinklers don't work in the sandy soil.

  • The number of tillable tiles on this map is 2700, with 1928 non-tillable but build-able tiles.

    When fishing:

  • 15% of the time, players will catch Seaweed.

  • 5.1% of the time, players will catch one of Oyster, Coral, Mussel or Cockle. Chances for each item are equal.

  • 52.73% of the time, players will catch ocean fish, i.e., fish that are found in The Beach.

  • 27.17% of the time, players will catch trash.

Also, "Gathering" and "Fishing" skill is more prominent than other maps.
Meadowlands Farm
This is the recommended farm type for those who want to engage in animal husbandry.

The General Features of the Map Are As Follows:

  • There is Chewable Blue Grass[stardewvalleywiki.com] that animals love in this map.

  • Players start with a coop and two randomly named chickens.

  • Instead of receiving 15 Parsnip Seeds from Mayor Lewis, the player instead receives 15 pieces of Hay from an unknown source.

  • While fishing in the river, players have a 40% chance to catch forest pond fish — that is, fish normally found in the Cindersap Forest pond.

  • The number of tillable tiles on this map is 2066, and there are Q2 untillable but buildable tiles.

Also "Farming" is more up front compared to other maps.
Thank you for reading
Since it is my first guide, I will definitely be a novice. If I have a mistake, you can specify it in the comments section. I got all the information in the guide from the Game's Wiki[stardewvalleywiki.com] , if you like it, the guides will continue, thanks :)...
