How to Destroy a Mech

English guide on how to destroy a mech in Warface

Destroy the Mech's Shield (Temporarily)

Shield is the blue bar. You can temporarily damage the shield by shooting it with rocket launchers. I say temporarily, because once your team reduces the shield on the mech to 0, you must then destroy its health (next section). If your team takes too long to kill the mech after the shield is destroyed, it regains all of its sheild and you have to destroy the shield yet again. Shield regenerates, health does not.

Make sure that when you fire any rocket launchers at the Mech, you are shooting the cockpit or you will be wasting both time and rocket launchers. For best results, wait until the mech is looking directly at you to fire, as if you fire from the side you will often hit the mech's arms.

Damage the Mech's Health (Permanently)

Health on a mech is the red bar. Health, as you might expect, does not regenerate.


Once the mech is downed, you must shoot the power core on the top of it's head (it's the glowing blue thing). You can shoot this with either a rocket launcher for a lot of damage, or your regular weapons. Don't waste time, because the mech only stays downed for a few seconds before it gets back up and recharges all of its shields.

Misc.

After you pick up a rocket launcher, pick up another one to get it's rocket so you have 2 shots. I heard that this also makes the rocket launchers spawn faster, so it's a good idea to do it.

Remember that when you have a rocket launcher, you can always switch back to your primary weapon if a lot of enemy units start spawning.

on easy you can use weapons .but from normal upwards you need the launchers.and you need to
shoot the cockpit or it wont work.also stop the shooting at the mechs as it makes it move away from the launchers so makes it harder and longer to kill them.
