so here i have a really simple guide showing you how to setup the gem compressor to make it fully automated with logic, and yes that includes a simple working reset, no more pulling levers.

Can confirm with the current compressor that this method works perfectly, though it can be made compact enough for a 2x2x6, so you can have 4 or 5 directly next to eachother to seperate by gem.

Every time I consider getting into logic builds, seeing the ridiculous amount of space they need turns me off instantly. And that's just for a single resource. If you want to do this for all ores and gemstones individually, which you're forced to do since the last update, your actual smelting line becomes practically unreachable behind all these stupid cables. And all that jazz just to set the size of your bars/gems. Nice idea? Certainly. Well implemented? Most definitely not.
