How to run Fallout Tactics in 1080p (AMD GPU ONLY, RX 5000 SERIES OR NEWER)
By Gamer Femboy
The basis of this guide is to help you run Fallout Tactics using a AMD RX 5000 OR RX 6000 series card. We will be using the Radeon Virtual Super Resolution feature in Radeon settings to help us. With this guide and shown by screenshots, the game will be set to a resolution slightly below 1080p, and then upscaled to 1080p. This way we can play in 1080p resolution without the game crashing as i usually get an error when trying to play in 1080p and this seems like a common issue without many solutions. This guide unfortunately only helps particular AMD users but i hope this guide can make your experience a little bit better.

Step 1.
All that is required is for you to have a RX 5000 or RX 6000 series GPU (ex. 5700XT, 6900XT) and the latest drivers (at this time im using Adrenalin 22.5.2).

Step 2.
Next open your AMD software or AMD settings and click on the gaming tab. Go to Fallout Tactics and enable the setting Radeon Super Resolution. Click on the question mark and it will show you step by step on how this can be applied to a game and will give you a list of resolutions to use with your monitor.

Step 3.
Use one of the following resolutions the prompt has listed to you, i choose 990p in the ingame menu since 1080p doesnt work. Then open your Radeon settings ingame and check the Radeon Super Resolution setting in the Fallout Tactics tab for a green checkmark.

Step 4.
Congrats. You have set the ingame resolution to a lower resolution than your monitor but then the image is upscaled to 1080p. I have posted a pic below of what your Radeon Settings should say. Fallout Tactics doesnt seem to work with 1080p resolution when you set it in the menu and it crashes the game for some reason. With this work around you are able to technically play the game in 1080p, and im sure if you had a 1440p monitor it would work just as well.
