How to fix FlowChartsx.dll Error

This will fix the Flowchartx.dll problem!

How the hell do we fix this?

Hello Modders have you been making a quest and then enter the scene editor and get this error?














Well after searching for a few hours I have found a work around!

The work around!

OK this is what you do?

[Press the window's key and type command prompt (Run as administrator)]

[Type the following line "cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4"]













[Type the next line "regsvr32 flowchartx64.dll"]

Note: Don't use FlowChartx32.dll for some strange reason the creation kit hates that dll!

If you see the following message, you are successful.

*for the people having trouble with the file paths*

Ok, this must be a bigger problem then I thought but here we go!

Here is a different path! make sure you have the "GAME PATH" that is important!

( C:\WINDOWS\system32>regsvr32 "(Your Game Path Here. Then this at the end)\flowchartx64.dll" )

Here is mine for example!

C:\WINDOWS\system32>regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\flowchartx64.dll"

If Fallout 4 is in a different drive

First open steam and hover your mouse on fallout 4 and right click and then hover the mouse cursor to properties, click browse local files.




File explore should open with Fallout 4's file path! Click on the file path and copy it:



Now follow the rest of the guide but with that file path! Cheers

Guys who have problems even when using cmd, try these steps!
1.Move the dll file to C:\\Windows\SysWOW64
2.Open cmd with administrator rights
3.Enter this command "%systemroot%\SysWOW64\regsvr32 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\flowchartx64.dll " (without quotes)

You're in luck! A fix that I found worked was literally: Open Steam with administrator perms, and once you boot the Creation Kit the scene editor should work - frustrating but that's what worked for me haha

Guessing there's no other fix for this other than the one above? I manage to get it past the cd section then the regsvr reckons that a module can't be found or something stupid.

Hey I just get

C:\Windows\system32>cd E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4
C:\Windows\system32>

If i then go

C:\Windows\system32>regsvr32 flowchart64.dll
it says module can not be found

im actually pulling my hair out trying to figure this out what the fuck lads
I have also tried Grossmiches suggestion to no avail.
